hello all! can i join you? reading all of these posts has really helped me not feel so alone. my husband and i always wanted to have kids. we even had names picked out before we got married. well we got married in feb of this year and we were seperated three days later (he and i both being in the navy). it was a long few months untill i saw him again. he took a long drive from where he was stationed to supprise me one weekend and we ended up with our little miracle in one try. but almost seventeen weeks into a relativly hard pregnancy i went into early labor.
CONGRATULATIONS to Claudia and all of you out there who are on your way to having a little one!! I pray for all of those little angels we got to hold in our womb and in our hearts but never in our arms Kara RIP my angel 7-24-09 ![]() |

Hi Meg, This group of friends has been great to me. We have gotten tons of support. In a way, you will never forget the pain of m/c but time helps a lot to heal. I remember how the 2 first weeks where the worst of my life. After 3-4 months I was ready to cycle again but because of DH's work, he relocated and we could finally reunite after 6 months. Now, I am just trying to live day by day praying and hoping that this time is my time!

Dear Kara, I am truly sorry for the recent loss of your baby. I can imagine the pain of loosing your baby at 17 weeks. You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Are you still away from DH? I hope you have family and friends with you.Have you talked to a RE or specialist? Do you know the cause of m/c? There are many tests that can be done to find out so they can give you the right treatement to prevent this from happening again. Please keep us posted.

Unfortunately, the Navy doesn't help us out too much medicially. I ended up M/C at a civilian hospital and the Navy paid for it, but I have to see Navy doctors. we don't even get to see the same doctor every time. one of them said that it was most likely an incompetant cervix just because of how it progressed and luckly that's fixible next time.
also, I was lucky enough for my hubbie to get stationed here with me. You are all wonderful and helping me so much. My hubbie and I are going to see a chaplan (like a preist in the navy) on Friday. It will be good to talk to someone and good for him to hear that it's not his fault. How did all of your guys react. It will be three weeks ago tomorrow that I m/c and its still hard for both of us. thank you all! Kara RIP my angel 7-24-09 ![]() |

Kara, I'm so very sorry for your loss. I can't imagine how painfull this has been for you and your husband. The pain is something that has been dragging on with me for a while. It's almost been a month for me and it's still hard to cope. There are moments (days) that I'm just down and depressed, but there are moments that the pain is managable and you'll have an ok day. If you feel like things are too much for you to handle I would seek help, there's no shame in that. Although I was not as far as you were, I loved our child deeply and it's hard to forget that. I don't think that you can. My husband also felt super guilty since he has Klinefelter's syndrome and all....I guess it's just a process that we have to go through, it's hard one, but we'll get through it. For me, it's helped me a lot to write. so, I started a blog. If you ever need to vent, I'm here for you. you can send me a private message or email me. (my email is wbocianski@yahoo.com). I'll be for you and your husband
