I lost my baby.....need support

this past monday i went for an US and my baby had no heart beat. my daughter and husband were there.....and i am a nurse in maternity so i knew right away. so while they were marveling at the baby....i knew the worst was happening. the baby stopped growing 2 and a half weeks before that day. i was 11 weeks. i dont mean to rain on anyones parade...i just needs some support. i was so devastated. we all were. the induced miscarriage took an entire week and i was in so much pain. does anyone know how long it will be before the fertility doctor will help me try again? we had been trying so long and we were lucky enough to get pregnant on our 1st iui. i was so excitied and it was all just taken away from me.

I am so sorry for your loss. Sending your way

When I miscarried, the Re made one full cycle, as he said my body needs to rest.

Hope you get pregnant soon. Take care

My RE wanted 3 cycles after D&C. We took 5 to heal, and to get my body back to feeling normal.
We just finished our IVF cycle and have a , just waiting now for that Hearbeat..... I'm sorry for your loss, and totally understand how hard it is to be in your position. All the dreams for that little one is just gone. I hope we can provide some support for you here, I know I needed these ladies so badly!

I really and truely understand your pain. My dh and I have been trying for 2 years got the in November with our 1st IUI and clomid. I miscarried at 11 weeks this past December. It took me about a week for my body to finish the miscarriage and once I stopped bleeding it took about 4 weeks to start my cycle over again. Once that happend my doc did an IUI with clomid again in January and I got a and now I just did an IUI with clomid and follistem Feb 14, so fingers crossed for the end of this month. I know that your loss is incredibly painful and nothing anyone says will change that. I still get emotional over mine and it's been 3 months, but I'm determined to have a baby and my determination and dh gets me through. We don't have any children and it was a blow for us to have tried for so long, achieve success, only to have it ripped away. Just feel what you need to feel and let it all out, regroup, and then start over. It will happen, it has to,.. for all of us.

I am so sorry to hear about your loss and the way you experienced it. There is nothing like that moment in the US room when you learn your dream is over. And for you, being a healthcare provider, it is so much worse. I am a pharmacist, so I can understand in a way (not the same as you though).

This forum is a great place to receive support. We don't have any children yet, and this forum gets me through these tough times of waiting.

We will make it through. Take your time and believe that you can make it. You will. And one day, each dream of ours will come true. Maybe not the exact way we wanted, but we will have our child(ren).

I'm so sorry for your loss! My RE is making me wait through 1 full cycle until we can try again. I m/c right after christmas and the way things look now, I'll be ready to try again at the beginning of March. Good luck! I'll be thinking of you.

Hugs!

First off, I am truly sorry for your loss. Sending you a big cyber hug because I know you need that right now. To cross over to this side is incredibly painful. One moment you are happy and dreaming of the future. Next thing you know you are stuck with shock, grief and the physical trauma that accompanies such a loss. When I m/c I had a d&c and after a couple weeks the bleeding/spotting ended and AF came about 4 weeks later. My OB suggested waiting 3 months to start trying again. But after waiting just 1 cycle we started again with his blessing. He said it really only takes 1 cycle for the body to heal, the rest of that time is for dealing with the grief. Everyone is different. It is important to allow yourself time to heal both physically and emotionally. As TTC after a loss is a much more turbulent ride. I knew I was ready, but I also made a point to actively work through my feelings by creating a memory box. While my body was healing I wrote out the story of my angel and put in in the box with songs and peoms. I also put the ultrasound photos, the few gifts already purchased for the baby, and anything that reminded me of our time together. It was so painful to do but I am glad I did it. I hope you are recoving as best you can from somthing like this. Feel free to pm me if you want to talk.

My heart goes out to you; I know how devastating this is. I had to wait until the 2nd cycle after the m/c.

I hope you find peace soon and can move on to that much deserved BFP. best wishes to you and your dh.

I'm so sorry

I am very sorry for your loss. I just found out today my early ultrasound is very abnormal. It is just an empty sac, the sac is too small, and it is not round, instead it is mis-shapen. I will probably MC soon.

I thought about a lady I saw at work (I work at a hospital). She was very full term and was crying. She said, "My baby died yesterday." She was suppose to come in to give birth, but instead she was informed that she was going to have a stillborn.

I saw this lady the first day I found out I was pregnant.

I think my situation is much easier than her's. However, she will get to bury her child and receive some closure that way, for what ever constellation that is worth.

I am so very sorry to hear about your loss and how you heard about it. Being that you are a nurse and you work in this field I'm sure you see these things frequently. I hope your future attempts are successful.
