The lost of our Baby Boy

Hello Ladies,

I have not posted in awhile but I do read everyday.
On the 11th (which is my birthday), I started to have contractions. I wasn't aware of the back pains being contractions. My husband and I had decided to leave the resturant, on our way home I had to sneeze. Once I let the sneeze out my water broke. We headed straight to the ER. I ended up having to actually push and go into labor. A D&C was proformed and I was placed under general anastiesa (SP?) because the doctor couldn't get the spinal tap to work. I'm pretty much still in shock because we had no reason to believe that there was a chance a miscarriage would happen especially after the first trimester. After everything we went through to get pregnant we lost our son at 16 weeks .

I will still come on to the site to read and make sure your ladies are doing okay. I wish you all well. I pray everyday that we will be back on here soon.

Thank you all for allowing me to share in your experiences on a day to day basis. This has helped me with all of the ups and downs.

I am sad with you. Not as much as you, I know, but we feel your sadness. I wish I could take this pain from you.

Thelma, I am so sorry for your loss. I can only imagine how you must be feeling. Please, take all the time you need to rest and heal. We'll be here to offer you cyber shoulders to cry on, vent on and express yourself. Your son is now in Heaven watching over you and in the best hands - God's. I know it's not comforting at first but it's what still gets me through my miscarriage that I had before my son was born. My Jordan is our guardian angel!

Thelma, I am so sorry or your loss. I know how your are feeling. I recently had a loss myself at 19wks. Who know why these things happen. There is no explanation. You just need to be strong and you will get through. You are in my thoughts.

Daisy-Were your doctors ever able to figure out why it happened? Are you all going to try again? What procedures did you have to do when you went back to your OB?

Sorry for asking so many questions. I'm just trying to figure all of this out. As you will know having a miscarriage so late in the game is not the best thing.

Thank all of your ladies for your support.
