bleeding after embryo transfer, can i still be pregnant?

Hi Everone I'm really new to this site and this is my first thread. I had one embryo transfered and all seemed well, after 6 days i started to bleed that was 2 days ago now and i'm still bleeding, is that it now? it seems to be very much heavier than any normal period and i have very strange twinges down below, i feel myself it must be gone, and i know its too soon to do a test, has anyone any experience of heavy bleeding after the ET, georgie

Sorry to hear about the bleeding. I think if I were you, I would go ahead and do a HPT. I did test + that early. Bleeding does not mean you could not be pregnant. Take it very easy through the weekend. Is there anyone at your RE office that you could call and talk to?

Thanks Kay, that helps. I know it just doesn't feel like a normal period, with all those severe twinges. I'll take things easy and maybe take a test in a couple of days, thanks again
