thanks marissa. i can't believe you're so far along, either. wow!

martie, give dh an extra smack for me. lol

jen, it's hard to explain since most people work different hours than teachers and i don't want you to think i'm spoiled. i have worked the 7 - 2:30 schedule for 3 yrs. i have taught jrs. and srs. (MUCH better than fresh. and sophs. for 2 yrs. i told my principal i needed the early schedule again b/c of doctor appts. (i can't leave and come back to work, or take off easily - doesn't work like that in a school). so...i get the 9-4 schedule, which means doc appts. will be extremely tough (for diabetes and pregnancy!). and i am teaching sophomores for 90 minutes at the end of the day, which is beyond stressful. this will NOT work since i'll be pregnant. i have seniority there (13 yrs.) and will file a grievance to change my schedule. even if i have to move to a different high school in the district, i'm making a stink. it's not right. glad you asked?

i got a call from my nurse with my meds instructions. she calls tomorrow with how many eggs and the fert report. oh well.

first-stupid nurse... why couldn't she give you the # now? what difference would it make?!?!
second-of course I am glad I asked! I would definitely fight for your original time. That is what seniority should be about... you getting to choose. And I would choose that schedule too. besides, by 4pm your ankles will be swollen from the pregnancy... you'll do better teaching in the AM. plus, you will have all those u/s appointments to go to

Liza, I can't believe they won't tell you how many eggs - dumb! Can't wait for the fert report tomorrow. Also, I think Ibuprofin today is fine. I would just cease using it 24 hours prior to your transfer! Hope the headache goes away and more importantly, hope you can get your schedule changed!

Jen, that is awesome that DH wants to start again! I know it is scary, but just look at your little man and do the exact same protocol!!

Jess, how did the cervix check go?? Hope all is well!

I know that you cannot take it while pregnant so maybe that is why they do not want you to take it while cycling either??

Hehe sorry Martie. Well Dh has a name picked out that is rather unusual that he is very insistent upon. I am not as fond of it as he is and dh is willing to consider other names. That being said nothing is really speaking to us as our baby. I dont feel like I have found "the one". We have a list but I am just hoping when he comes out he will tell me his name, lol. How do you chose a name, it is so hard? And part of me wants to just give in to Dh and let him have the name because while the name is very important after going thru a struggle to get pregnant and seeing the struggle of others I think I really respect what a miracle a baby is and as long as he is safe in my arms I could call him booger boy. Okay maybe not the answer you were looking for.

Liza- I hope you can get your schedule changed. That stinks!!! The early scheule will work out better for your u/s appoointments!!!!!

Liza I think they say no ibuprofen because if effects stimming. I think the anti-inflammatory inhibits follie growth. So I would say you are okay at this point. But after transfer you are gonna have to hop on the tylenol band wagon until next year .

Liza - Just wanted to pop in and wih you luck. I pray for an excellent fert. report tomorrow with lots and lots of embies!! This is so your time. :-)

Jen - Good luck with starting on Wyatt's little sib! It is always scarey when we start a new journey (whether it is trying for a second, deciding on IVF, DE, DS, Adoption...) The unknown is scarey. I am with Jess though...the result is worth the risk.

Hi to everyone else.

I am so happy we started a new thread. I still miss the old one. So, so many memories and friendships built there. Maybe there is a chance that we can be reopened?

Liza, I am beyond excited for you love! I can't wait to hear more about it tomorrow.

Jen, we are thinking of doing an FET soon too. I just am not ready to stop BFing, and I have to be done w/ that for at least 2-3 months before FET. I am so nervous as well.

Girls, does anyone know anything about single egg FET? We have 2 frozen babies, but I personally (please, no offense to twin mommies) am not seeking out a twin pregnancy. Of course, if it happened I would be more than thrilled at what God has blessed me with. Anyway, our 2 forzen blasts are pretty good quality and we are thinking of just thawing one for transfer. Any thoughts??

Mia, sounds like things are going well. Picking a name IS hard! But it will come to you!

Jess, thinking of you today. Did I read right on FB? Did someone throw a chair at you???

Martie, wow, a FET in September? EXCITING!!

Absolutely there is, but things need to cool down some…hopefully in the next few days, as things transition back to normal, all of the ‘closed’ threads can be reopened and I can merge your new threads into them, so that none of the conversation is missed.

I certainly appreciate all of the attempts that are being made to get back to being a supportive and respectful community.
