Amy- my .02 cents worth on the SET versus the two. I was given a 50% odds with any subsequent FET that we do. So if I transfer two, the 50% odds say that only one takes. For me FET are expensive (Some where around $2000-3000 as far as I know) I guess the other thing I would base it on is embryo quality and what my doctor thinks. That's only my opinion though. (plus having twins is not soooooo bad! Hee hee)

Liza- I'm SUPER excited for you!

Mia- Picking names is hard. First we had picked Morgan and were totally set on it. Then when they were delievered and DH came back with pics from teh ICN I just KNEW he was a Jesse. Although Idon't remember saying so, I was REALLY out of it...guess it was the trauma of the delievery?! Lol.

Last night L laughed for the first time and today when I was washing his face off with a washcloth he was laughing again. It melted my heart! I love them so much!!!

Hey Ladies

So my cervix is 3.3 cm but from past experiences we are still getting the cerclage Thursday. I knew it was coming but for some reason I am soooo sad and want to cry (won't cause it will freak out dh and don't want him to be upset now). I am also stressed about work and decided to take a few days off (even though I am taking time off next week since it's Mandy's last week before going on vacation for the summer).

Amy...kind of. What happened was I was talking to a co-worker as soon as I got in to the office. We use an agency to match our donors with recipents and they are claiming they hasn't been paid since Feb which I knew was wrong. We were going over the payments and paperwork when a co-worker who I used to like and chit chat with came up behind me with her chair and started hitting me in my *** with the back of the chair. I asked what her problem was she was like get you butt out of my neck. She looked like she was gonna move over so I kept talking to my co worker but she was still doing it. I told her to stop and she yelled back that next time I better say excuse me. Her boss asked me what happened and when I told her she said oh it was probably an accident. Yeah, right.

Something similar happened with her BF that works with us earlier this year and she was physically using her shoulder to push in to me. I told my bosses, they said it was an accident (twice) so the next time she did it, I pushed back and we were both spoken to that physical stuff is not appropriate in the office. I hate that place most days.

Jess 3.3 is a good length to get the cerclage at. I think the preventative ones have been shown to be more effective and sturdy than the emergency one. I am sure it is still hard to think about no matter what. You and baby will be in my prayers for Thursday. How often will they check you after the cerclage?

Thanks Mia and Liza.

Liza most cervixs are 4cm at pregnancy and shorten as you get closer to delivery. If it shortens to early then you could lose the baby.

Mia The MFM said the same thing. He said we might avoid pre-term labor again since we did it sooner.

Oh No Jen. My cervix being at 3.3 now is a good thing. When I was 15 weeks with T my cervix was only 1 cm and we needed an emergency cerclage. This time they are doing a preventative one so it being longer is a good thing.

I would be scared of having twins right now with 2 already in the house but then I think I would like 2 more especially 2 of each so maybe a twin pregnancy woudn't be bad.

Funny enough I never wanted kids. All though HS and part of college I didn't want them. Mainly cause all the women in my family were teen moms, especially my cousins and we were the same age and they would complain how much it sucked to have kids and not be able to do what you wanted. Then I had Mandy, and she was a difficult baby especially being a single parent but not anywhere as close to horrible as they made it seem. Now I have a great dh that helps a whole lot and I would love to have more kids with him.

Did you ever get my email about the pendants I wanted to see more of? I got the dress and it's prutty now I just need some prutty jewelry to go with it :-)

Amy, not sure on the FET success with just one embryo, we thawed out three and only got Hannah and I plan on doing the same. I guess since DH and I want 4 children (but I told him if it was twins next time we were done), I though twins would be a good thing. Maybe your clinic has the rates. Also we were told at our clinic they thaw them out the night before and if one did not make it they would be able to thaw out another one before the transfer? Sorry this probable does not help at all.
