Lost one twin, worried about the other
Hello, I'm new here and trying to hear from others who may have gone through something similar. We were getting ready to go through IUI when we got pregnant (after a 1 1/2 years of trying) during my Clomid Challenge month. And with twins. Unfortunately one twin was measuring a few days behind the other but had a great heartbeat. But by 8 weeks Baby B had passed. I had a week of cramping and brown spotting. Now at 13 weeks the other baby has been fine, but I've had 3 days of more spotting and cramping. My doctor had me off my feet and said it could be the other twin's presence but it also could be the baby. Has anyone experienced anything like this? I'm so nervous now. Thanks for the support!

Vanishing twins are pretty common, unfortunately, as is spotting during pregnancy. I haven't been exactly in your boat, but I did have spotting a couple times during this pregnancy - at 10 weeks (light pick spotting) and 16 weeks (dark red spotting) - and both times everything was fine. Did your OB have you come in for an u/s when you mentioned the current round of spotting? That's what my OB did and it made me feel a lot better to see the heartbeats.

I lost one twin too and had bleeding on and off through week 18. It made for lots of worries but I now have a wonderful 1.5 yr old. Hang in there

I lost a set of twins at 20 wks, and then lost one twin from my second pregnancy at 10wks.
I now have a wonderful 10.5 mth old baby girl!
