Clomid or injectable?

Hi Ladies ,
I am going to start my 1st IUI . But I don't know what I should take for ovulation induction --clomid or injectable. As for expenses I am not worried. My RE said clomid increases chance of miscarriage . But he left the choise over me . So I am confused .Any advise?
