Also vist a Reproductive Endocrinologist
If they possibly think your miscarriage was from a luteal phase defect, you should also see a reproductive endocrinologist or an OB that specializes in hormone imbalances.
I experienced my first miscarriage recently (I am 35) and I am having a D&C on Wed. I am insisting they do chromosomal testing and endometrial tests for hormone irregularities. My OB doesn't want to do these tests, but I am insisting. He'd like me to wait for another miscarriage before doing any testing. I will be 36 in two months, and I DO NOT have time to waste on miscarriages.
I was dxd with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome three years ago, and although this general OB does not think it was related to my miscarriage, I completely disagree.
I have to agree with SLOBIN's post, you need to have a loud voice to be heard!!! Be aggressive, be pushy . . . and who cares what they think of you for doing so. . .
