Miscarriage linked to father's age

I found an interesting article that suggests the miscarriage rate increases with the age of the father. They claim that miscarriage rate is 27 percent higher if a man is over 35.

Here is the link to the article, if you'd like to read more.

Has anyone heard this before?

Red face

Very interesting article! My husband and I count ourselves quite lucky...I had a son at 39 through IVF with a 62 yr old husband and our little guy is healthy and normal. We are blessed! My 40 plus neighbor has a 6 yr old son who is autistic and her DH is in his 60s. Her other children from her first marriage are all normal. Ideally, we would all have our children when we are in our fertility prime, but life just doesn't always allow us to do that, so we take our chances and hope for the best.
