I just happened to catch an old episode of ER this morning while I was fixing my hair (I was hoping to catch a glimpse of Goran Visnjic who is my new favorite hottie). It was the one where Carter and his girlfriend have a stillborn baby boy. It was so painfully sad that I was all choked up watching it. Has anyone seen it? I hadn't watched ER in ages so I'd not seen this episode. Boy, was it hard to watch.

karen, that is so funny! i never get to watch day time tv b/c i am a teacher, but i'm off for the summer and happened to watch the same episode. i used to watch er religiously! it was the 1st time i had seen that episode though, and it was so sad. it was very hard to watch it, i cannot imagine going through that. by the way, did you decide on what to do for your dh b-day?

I don't currently have cable, so my TV is strictly for use in connection to the DVD player...*sigh* I'd like to see this episode. Stillbirth is something that doesn't get used a lot in the media. I guess people just don't like to see something that heartwrenching. Do you have any idea of the name of episode? Maybe I can download it or something.

Hi EinsteinYeah i caught that eposide of ER i got someone to tape it for me!!!! It was heartbreaking, but also it was good to watch as i didn't feel so alone!!! Stillbirth is such a hush hush topic and it felt good to have it out in the air!!!
