Good luck with the wedding madness Jen!!!
Good luck with your procedure today Alana!!! Jen - I could never imagine having an iguana as a pet. Just don't seem cuddly and sweet to me. Well your pictures proved me wrong. Too cute! I still think I'd freak out a little seeing that walking around my house and I can't even imagine what Tucker would do.

Martie, I would not worry so much about all of that. You are having an FET right? It is different this go round....You will be fine
Rachel, So cool that you are getting all Aiden's stuff What fun! Alana, my prayers are with you today.![]() Ronni, are you even better today? I hope so. Just one more week until Beta!! Susan, I know how it is for your DH's sec. to feel possesive. My DH's previous sec had known him longer than me and I think she felt like she was more important at times. As long as DH knows who is most important that is all that matters. And live and learn, now you know she is not to be trusted. I hope you have a quiet day today. How is your head doing? Jen, your wedding stuff is getting even closer to the end. I LOVE the pics of you and Maggie! Enjoy your pedi/mani!![]()

Thanks for all of the feedback on the secretary thing. The thing is, DH actually trusts his secretary so much that he actually believed I said those things. That's what hurt so much. She definitely spends more time with him and it s easier for him to open up to someone who is not threatening. SO they formed a bond, sort of a mother-son bond, since his mother totally sucks.
I can see on one hand how he must feel not to have ever had the support or love of his parents and how he might be lookig for a sort of mother figure. But he needs to be aware of how dangerous this is. Sorry for the serious stuff here girls. I think things are ok now. No mention of her and I guess what I don't know won't hurt me. What I mean is, they can continue their serious talking at work as long as it does not affect us in any way. As long as he knows who is more important. men are so stupid. I just made cookies and I and going to eat them all right now!

Thanks everyone for your words of encouragement. I was feeling so down yesterday but things will probable be better tomorrow after the appoinment.
Susan-Our dog had to have a cone on his head for sometime. first he licked his leg till it was raw. After that healed he scratched his face up itching, so he wore the cone for all summer. In the last month I noticed that he had gotten smart (he is tricky) and was still able to scratch his face (he could wiggle his way around so he could still stick his foot inside of the cone and scratch!!!) which is why it was not healing. We just switched his food last week and he is doing much better. Seems he had an allergy which is weird because we have been feeding both the dogs this food for 2 years now. We have 2 Dogs (Jack and Mia) and 1 cat (amos) I will see if I can post some pictures. I still owe you all wedding pictures I think my husband finally has my computer working so I can scan them in. Shawna-I am suprised that the doctors office did not do some more checking on the miscarrage. I would think they would have check to make sure it was all over with by doing a pregnacy test. I hope everything works out ok. Alana-good luck on your D&C today. Sorry that you have to go through this again. Jen good luck with your wedding "fun" this weekend.

Susan - You have enough going on over there and you shouldn't have to worry about DH's secretary. It does sound like you have it all in perspective and I agree with Grits. Lesson learned. That woman is not to be trusted.
Rachael - I never answered your POAS question...DH has asked me not to POAS because of what happened to us last time. The positive HPTs and the chemical pregnancy were heartbreaking. But...I don't always listen to DH and I don't know if I'll be strong enough to wait. Especially when I start seeing other girls on the Sept ET thread POASing and one has just gotten her positive! We'll see. For now, I'm trying to keep my mind occupied and stay busy. ![]()

Ronni - I know the chemical pregnancy and the positive HPT were so heartbreaking last time around. Even I was crying for ya'll. I can understand how you both feel. Just wanted to know so we won't harrass you!
Jen - We're wishing you good luck with all the bridezilla events of the day! Alana - You're in all of our thoughts today. Please let us know you are ok when you can. Martie - I'm glad you are feeling better about everything today. We can't wait to cheer you on next week. Susan - I hope you and DH have everything worked out. Work relationships are always so different. I recently met up with one of my DH's employees and quickly realized he had never told his employees about losing the twin. I think he just likes to keep everything private. All these doggie stories brought back an old memory for me. When I was a kid, we had a dog with bad allergies who had to wear a cone b/c of itching. Well, when my dad would walk her in the neighborhood he would tell everyone that the dog was hard of hearing and the cone helped her hearing!!

So I'm back after NOT having a D&C! I didn't eat or drink anything all morning just to be sure I could have it, but the doctors at the fricken clinic decided they wouldn't do it because my beta levels are still rising slightly and its some annoying protocol that they need to check its not a viable pregnancy!!! Like HELLO??? My RE was pretty pissed at them I think. The RE nurse was telling me how hospitals here do that all the time to patients, that they don't realize that fertility patients know when conception happens almost to the day. But she also said there is nothing they can do but to wait it out until I see them again. The only reason I'm not completely pissed is that I'm actually bleeding pretty heavily so I think its happening regardless. Still...whats up with these people?
I guess its fair enough if there was a small chance of a viable pregnany and they got sued or something for ending it. But this one stopped growing TWO FRICKEN WEEKS AGO!!! Sorry about the big letters there...lol...figured emphasis was needed there. My RE nurse also said these hospital clinics often forget that the placenta of even a non-viable pregnancy will continue to grow many weeks later. I think maybe these people need to go back to med school or something. Anyway, I'm not too upset about it all as I think its going to happen on its own the next few days. Which would be good as it would be glad to not have to have surgery. If its still there though in two weeks I will either have the surgery then or a drug called misoprostol which the doctor said I'm a good candidate for. Anyone ever heard of this before? So thats my day in a nutshell. Dramas and dilemmas as usual...but I'm starting to realize thats just IF for you isn't it? Lots and lots of ups and downs. Oh, Jen...Maggies a cutie. I want one!

Alana-
What a day! I can't believe they would not do it. Did they do another ultrasound to see what is going on in there? I feel so bad for you having to wait ot out. I know how hard it must be. Try to have some wine and relax tonight. Maybe go see a funny movie or something. Myself- I am meeting some friends for an "after work" margarita ![]()

Alana that's infuriating! I'm so sorry you're going through this. But...again...I'm amazed by our outlook and attitude. You're keeping it together really well given the circumstances.
Enjoy your wine - you deserve every drop!

Hey Grits! We were posting at the same time!
I'm doing well. Feeling twinges and some cramps which I'm hoping are good signs. The weather here is beautiful right now and I'm struggling to stay at work. DH and I are slowly getting back to normal after our big blow up and I think we may try to hit the golf course after work. I won't play this time but always enjoy riding around counting bunnies!

I hope all of you out there have some good wine and margaritas in honor of myself, Ronni, and Heidi tonight!
Alana - What a day from hell today. You are amazingly calm right now. I know you would rather this happen naturally than go back through the risks of the D&C. But, I wish the clinic could tell you all of this before you emotionally show up for the D&C. Are you and DH still able to get away for the weekend? Ronni - I have my too for those twinges! It's a good weekend for you and DH to try to make amends... that's the whole reasoning behind the holiday You've got till sundown tomorrow...Shelly - I hope you have an easy Yom Kippur tomorrow! Well, I'm about to get ready for synagogue over here. I'm going with my parents tonight b/c I haven't been to their synagogue in forever and DH is working tonight. It's very religious so I have to be fully covered... trying to figure out what to wear and most importantly what dress shoes I can squish my toes into!
