Kris, you will totally get stripper boobs while breast-feeding. I've never had boobs so it was quite a treat. However, in my experience, they were no longer for fun purposes, all practical. I hope this isn't TMI, but when they're full, you tend to spring a leak and could shoot someone's eye out with four different milk beams. Strange in certain situations if you know what I mean.
I started with a perky set of B's, but after 8 months b/feeding I guess I would say they became a little lack-luster but still possibly B's. Is there such a thing as a big A? As a sulky breastless teenager my mother would always say that hers grew after having children and so would mine. It never happened. I guess I take after my father's body type. Ronni, I also think you are a blessing in disguise. You always make me laugh or at last snuffle at your humor. I have to say though that when I first stumbled upon FF, it was Amy that I remember seeing first. I thought you were so beautiful and friendly, but at that time I was a newbie and felt like a total lurker so never chimed in at that time. Tia, things are rolling along for you nicely. And a support group to meet with is a great idea. Although, we may get a little jealous.

Ok if we are going to talk about the 1st people we saw or connected too, then I would say Rachael, I was a huge lurker on the May IVF 2007 thread as I was going through the same thing but I never joined until after my miscarriage and I was a lurker on this thread. Then it was Jens funny sense of humor that made me stay. Plus DH always wants to know (in a superstar voice) how JENCAT215 is doing today!

OMG...remember that unbelievable parent i was telling you guys about a few weeks ago???? the mother and father are here with their freakin attorneys. i am so upset. this is unbelievable. it is not fair that i am going to have to sit through an hour long meeting w/ my principal, 2 angry parents and 2 attorneys!! there will be 4 other teachers in there as well. i have never had any problems w/ parents. in fact, i have tons and tons of letters and emails of "thank yous" from the past few years. i am so worried.

Tia, this ones for you! http://chicagoist.com/attachments/Am...s%20winter.JPG
Amy, don't let them psych you out. Clearly these parents are delusional. Imagine how they are when they get in a fight at home. That is why they each have their own lawyer. Keep peace in your heart. They have the problem. Not you. Don't let any of their ickiness stick to you. If you start to get pissed try "inhaling deeply to a slow count of four, holding for a few seconds, then exhaling slowly to the count of four- to return to a state of calmness during stressful moments throughout the day." (Brought to you by Ali Domar) You don't need their toxicity. I hope it goes well! I can't believe how many people I originally cycled with are on this thread: ronni, martie, hannah, and heidi. Wow!!! |

I think my first concrete connections were with Alana and Jen as we were going through getting pregnant but having our losses at the same time or thereabouts. The happy and the sad times.
Amy, sorry about the insane parents. What is their need for legal representation? Was the kid expelled or do they just think he was treated unfairly? What poopy-heads they are. Sorry you have to deal with that.

Heidi - Sweet of you to mention my humor. It's the only thing that keeps me going and the first thing that attracted me to my DH. He made me laugh. I find that I can't function around people who appear to have been born without a funny bone.
Amy - Don't let the crazies get to you. Definitely use the relaxation technique that Josee gave you and also remember that bouncing teddy graham in your belly. He/she doesn't give a hoot what those parents and their lawyers have to say! April - I'm so jealous you're packing for Colorado! I was really hoping to be you and Jen's designated driver next week! Guess we'll have to settle for the end of the month instead. ![]() The first people I connected with on the forum were Rachael and Mirka. Mirka and I used different REs who shared the same lab and embryologist. Her straight-forward posts and sense of humor always made me smile. Rachael responded to one of my first posts about being a slow responder on stims. She assured me that it was okay and common and that you could still end up successful like she did! She even e-counseled me during my chemical pregnancy. It was over a weekend and DH was out of town and I was a complete wreck. Rachael saved me. I have no idea how I ended up over on this thread. Really. I can't remember at all. But I do know that Jen's wit and intelligence kept me glued and I've been addicted ever since!

awww Martie and Ronni...that is so sweet
Martie, tell DH that JENCAT215 is doing pretty good today. I just ate a burrito from my favorite mexican dive and my lips are tingling over the pint of salsa I just downed...nice and hot!I think I first connected through Alana and Heidi...Alana started this thread and I was so shocked to see my name in the big show. But I was so grateful for others who were going through what I was (not that I want anyone to go through what I did, but it was like my emptiness had lifted some). And all you all just keep me here, keep me from doing work, sleeping, cooking (I like being kept from that one), watching basketball (yuck) Amy-I cannot believe those idiots brought their lawyers to your school. WTH do they think happened to their kid? Against all of his teachers? This is not stress that you need right now. But you need to stick up for yourself. You did nothing wrong. Let them interview some of your kids for proof. Let us know what happened as soon as you can. And like the other said, just breathe!!!

Amy- What an icky situation! Good luck hun!
I can't honestly remember who I first clicked with...I know the original two members I clicked with left the site. One after a nasty person called her out and totally drug her through the mud, the other because it just wasnt the place for her I don't think, anymore. But as far as who I remember from our little group here...I always remember Amy. She was very sweet when i went through my first loss, I think she was goign through her ectopic around that time too if I remember correctly. And then Alana, she was there during my chemical and Jen too. Anyways, I'm just happy to have y'all no matter what because times have been extremely tough and shiatty, especially lately. And I so appreciate that none of you have run and hid from me and what's going on in my life. I dislike it when others can't handle bad things happening to people, it's life and those people definately need the added support in things to get through it that much easier. So thank you all, I love you all, you all are the best! ![]()
