Morning, Heidi! How are you this cloudy, rather cool morning? I'm on my way to church. Kelly and Susan have been mentioning a gathering of our own... and it's really silly we haven't done it by now... so let's make a date, shall we?

Hiya. We've been up since the wee hours as we had to go to Lexington for bloodwork and had to be back in Norwood in time to drop DH at work at 7:30AM. I want a nap, but I'll survive. I should have gone to bed earlier lst night but got myself watching a program on late TV. You know the mistaken identity thing on NBC.
Today we're going to the library and then off to buy little cactuses. Long story.

Yes, I'm definately up for a get together. If it's a weekend day I'll have the little rugrat with me as DH works. I work part-time during the week but that's it.

Jen, so sorry about your cousin. Very sad about her little son. Who will he go to? was your cousin married?

Kelly - I am so sorry to hear about your grandma. Our hearts are with you right now!

Susan - I love the dragonfly bedding. Please spend money on baby bedding before your FB toy

Jen - I am really sorry about your cousin too. It's so hard to lose someone young.

Heidi - I meant to watch that nbc show last night. It was such a weird story.

Hi April & Shelly!

About to wake up Aiden. My mom and I are dragging him around with us on a house tour today. My dad is not happy about this... he keeps telling me this is not what I should be doing with my male offspring and that I shoudl be taking up to our farm to ride tractors with my dad instead!

Guess my parents are the only ones celebrating their 39th anniversary this year? They half-jokingly say their marriage is an endurance test and they are both too stubborn to leave! Total polar opposites. Dad is laid back and could spend all day in the country and Mom is a born and breed New Yorker that always has to be on the go.

I am getting so tired of everyone getting defensive on that stupid post. So I had to comment and say just to let it drop. I hope I didn't sound that mean...I wasn't trying to be, but again, the idea for a filter is great so I don't have to see that freakin' post every time I click new topics. Maybe I'm just being a witch because of lack of sleep... anyway, whatever.

Heidi-she wasn't married, but the father is a real azz and is in jail. Right now my cousin (her brother) has the baby. Hopefully he will be able to keep him and that the other side's family doesn't try and protest. They are kind of a black box. It would be a dam n shame because the father (and I hate to say it but my cousing too) is a junkie. The kid is so cute and sweet, but very underdeveloped for his age. He is going to have issues. Very very sad

Morning ladies. I'm staying as far away from that post as possible. Personally I don't think it should have been posted to start. Anyways....

I hope you are all enjoying your saturdays. I guess we're going to the home show again...it's okay I guess. Boring and my back hurts after walking on the stupid cement floors but I'll get mini donughts out of the deal so I'm game! LOL

Rachael, my parents are celebrating their 47th anniversary next week. The only way I remember how many years each year is by adding 11 years to my age (which is the age of my sister 46) and they were married about six months before they had her. You should of seen their faces the night we were sitting around the dinner table and I was about 13 and I figured out that they must of gotten knocked up before they were married. Funny because they are so prudish and reserved and it totally made my mouth drop. I was like "But how could that be? hmmmm? ......." and my mother was like "you work it out!!!!"

I am staying away from "that post" too. I understand how some people are very raw from IF and sometimes the last thing they want to think about is bellies and babies, but that's the nature of this forum. People in all stages of IF are here and we have to be open-minded and understand that the affect of IF on all our lives is long-lasting and doesn't go away the minute we manage to get impregnated or give birth.
I think I understand where she was coming from with the post, but I don't know whether it was neccesary as it was enivtably going to be interpreted in different ways but different people. We shouldn't all get our knickers in a twist so to speak.

good morning ladies, hope you are all doing well! i had my maternity ward tour this morning and it was kind of wild - made everything suddenly seem very real.

tia, that is so sad about your pooch ... give her some extra treats today.
