Tia - Sorry about your pup. We just got a bunch of treats and a new soccer ball for Buster and he's not even sick! I'm glad to hear your baby is being spoiled rotten and I hope he feels better soon. I just sent you a PM as well.

Jen - I agree with you (as usual) on the post that's causing hard feelings and controversy. I read 5 pages of it this morning and I think the whole thing is ridiculous. Everyone has a right to share feelings and be supported on this forum and everyone also has the ability to read/ignore what they want. I'm going to choose to ignore that one going forward.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

Jen, I liked your post on that other thread.

I am really angry about one person's response. I haven't had any bad feelings til now but this really upsets me. Can someone talk me through it on FB.

April, How exciting for denver! What are you doing there again? I am so jealous! I'd love to be there with you girls having fun! Are you traveling alone? For how long? How was the birthday party?

Tia, I was planning to do the Earth Hour. It does just say to turn off the lights. 60 Things To Do During Earth Hour : TreeHugger

I just spent 2.5 hours with the pastor who I signed up for Christian classes with. He gave me a bible and homework and we talked for a long time. It was pretty fun. Along with all my IF books, I am also reading this book called A Year of Living Biblically, where a non-practicing Jewish author spends a year living all the laws of the bible. I have barely started the book, since I read it outloud to DH while we drive places like the train or the gym. He is witty and interesting.

Josee I hate to see you get all worked up over somebody else's opinion. It's just not worth it. I've decided that this is a battle that I'll choose not to fight - there are really so many other things that require my attention these days and I'm sure the same is true for you. I think your filter was a good idea and hopefully it will take wings. But, if not, you can at least feel good that you offered a solution instead of adding to the problem. Now exhale and enjoy the rest of your day!!

Josee-I'll go over to FB in a sec.

Tia-I am sorry about your pooch. But one ear got better, so this one can too? Give him an extra treat from auntie Jen!

Okay, Jo I need your help here. See, Maggie has taken a liking to coming downstairs and drinking out of the cat water bowl, then dumping right next to it. Then she goes and eats cat food. DH wants to make a belt out of her. Why is she doing this? Stupid lizard!!!

Josee ... please don't let it bother you ... I know that it is easier said than done ... I used to get really upset at responses and that's why I mainly hang out here

Jen ... how are you feeling today? Maybe some cheese fries at Outback will cure you!

Oh Maggie ... that is too funny. Actually I was upstairs and I heard a noise in the spare bathroom ... little a hole Willy comes flying out of the bath tub! What the hell was he doing in there. Normally we have the gate up by the stairs ... but DH forgot

I actually got off the couch and beat my cramps and got on the treadmill for 40 minutes and burnt off 501 calories ... now I can have the cheesecake that DH made without any guilty feelings

Tia-thanks...I'm doing pretty good. I went for a 7.5 mile walk with my old walking buddy, then went for a swim at the gym with DH (was hoping to get my brows done...I know, still haven't done that yet!, but the crazy lady was the only one available, so I passed). We had a wonderful burrito with lots of hot sauce at qdoba, and DH went to some friends house for basketball so I have the house to myself!

Josee-responding on FB right now...

Oh Jen so sorry to hear about your cousin.
How many days in a row are you going to have spicy food? I think this may be helping the acid reflex (hehe). DH is wondering how JENCAT is today!

Susan I love the dragonfly bedding it is so cutie and very simple like you said.
I will keep your friend and her baby in my thoughts and prayers. I had a friend who had a baby very early and he is now a 3-˝ year old. He had to spend a lot of time in the NICU, I think 4 months and he had lots of surgeries. Stuff like this just should not happen to babies it is not right!

Kelly sorry to hear your grandma is so sick.

Heidi, I watched “Mistaken Identity” last night too. I actually had my Lap at Spectrum Health; my RE is from Grand Rapids. It is so crazy and DH kept looking to see if I was crying and of course I was. It was just such a sad story. I can totally see how that family would think that she was their daughter; I mean she was pretty banged up and she did look like their daughter a lot. Plus they wanted to believe it so badly. I can totally see how the IN coroner would get them mixed up. I work in IN and there was this lady at my work that got a call from one once to tell her that her husband had died in a motorcycle accident. Yes they called her on the phone at work and just said, “this is the coroner” WTF. She started screaming immediately and dropped the phone, seems she had seen the accident on her way to work but did not know it was her husband. Anyway they are stupid!! I thought they did the whole officers come to tell you thing but I guess not.

Tia I hope your puppy feels better, I guess I do not understand what is wrong with her ears. What does the lupus do to them?

April no fair you get to go to CO I want to see the mountains someday.

Rach, hope Aiden liked his house tour.

Josee, I am with you on your FB post.

Hope everyone else is having a great evening.

Aiden had fun at the house tour. Think we wore him out! We both came home and took a nap. It's one of those fancy tours where strollers aren't welcom so I was carrying him around for hours and in and out of the car. Really just doing it to keep Mom company as a thank you

Aiden is obsessed at the moment with trying to roll over which is really fun to watch. He makes it about 2/3 of the way but can't quite get his hips over. But, it's cute to see him having so much fun with something!

I'm sad that the thread is upsetting so many people too. I love everyone here and all of our different backgrounds and respecting each other. I'll head over to fb...

Cooper keeps bringing his toy back to Aiden as though Aiden is his playmate and could throw it to him!

Cooper is so cute. I hope our dogs are as excited about our baby. I think Mia knows something is up. Normally she likes to cuddle with DH gets really jealous when I do (she thinks he is her boyfriend) anyway lately she wants to cuddle with me. She is not a gentle cuddler either so I always end up getting hurt.

I'll have to see if I can catch it on the camera. Cooper loves to kiss Aiden too and he's a bit overzealous with the sloppy kisses!

Martie - I'm sure your dog will be fabulous with the baby. Somehow they just know...
