Just got back from the dr office,we are a go, I am so happy. I talked to the nurse today about the low E2 and she said it was not a big deal, it just means it was taking longer to get things going. Then why did the other nurse make it sound like it was?? Oh well. I take 1 more day of gonal f and trigger tomorrow. The ET will be on Thursday.
Thanks for all your thoughts it really helped me.

Thanks guys, I know I need to keep my chin up and try to ignore the nagging aches for now. No more panty checks at the mall!!! (in the bathroom of course). I think what set me off was seeing my neighbor this morning who's bulging pregnant with her third and that's okay, but the last time I saw a year ago she was bulging pregnant also. She didn't have a lot of down time -- maybe she's part rabbit. It's just amazing to me how some people can just reproduce on demand. I would truly never complain because I feel so blessed having Stella, but seeing the neighbor put it all in perspective as to how long we've been trying for a sibling. Just that someone could have two in that time. Nutty.

Martie - that's awesome news. Roll on Thursday!!!!

HA! Heidi your comment about your neighbor being part rabbit made me giggle. That's funny! And thank you for pointing out that your panty checks at the mall were in the bathroom. Huge sigh of relief!

My poor doggie has something called histiocytosis of her skin. It is a rare disorder but common in some Bernese Mountain dogs. I am so sad and scared. She is my life. Only a puppy of 2 years... I am so beside myself lately. I could really use some good news soon.

Heidi, please hang in there! I am praying for you.
You too Ronni!
Martie, way to go. Thats's great news.

Just finished up with my holiday over here and needing my girls fix of the day!

Heidi - I'm glad to hear you've made a pact for no more panty checks. I had cramps too in my 2ww so you never know. I can definitely relate to knowing part rabbit women. One of my girlfriends has gotten pregnant on the very first month of trying with both her first and now her second pregnancy. Literally, first month off the pill! She says she'll have to get her tubes tied after this one as they have one very challenging son already. There literally hasn't been a month of the past two years that one of us hasn't been pregnant and drinking juice at a party.

Ronni - If it was up to me, you would be sitting next to the pool drinking lemonade while watching DH do all the yard work! Keep up the relaxing over there.

Jen - Can't wait to see the pictures of you all dolled up over there! Urgh... my Georgia game is tied with 3 seconds left and it's killing me!!

Martie - Great news about your FET this week!!

Susan - Is your doggie going to be ok? Is it treatable with something topical? I hope so.

Alana - You doing ok today? Are you still bleeding? I hope you're still drinking some good wine over there.

Well, today is the 6 month marker for me & Aiden. Very hard to believe. We finally reached the viability point and now everyday he stays put means less time in the NICU. Thanks for all the support ladies!

Susan, I'm really sorry about your pup's diagnosis. Did they say they might be able to treat it? You've had some bad luck and you don't deserve it.

Peachy, that must be very reassuring to reach 6 months. Aiden will be here before you know it. You'll be so mesmerized by him you won't even notice you haven't slept for days. From pictures I've seen of you and DH, I would say Aiden will have a healthy head of hair!

By the way my grandmother was part rabbit, she had 10 with ease, but it's clearly not hereditary in my case.

Alana, hope your cottage getaway has been relaxing and therapeutic.

good morning ladies ... it's been awhile since i posted here!

i am always amazed at how many pages i have to catch up

so my sister is due any day now with her 5th child ... every time i ask her how she is feeling she says ... trust me just you wait once your pregnant and all i can think of is ... you trust me ... i am patiently waiting!

i have my baseline u/s tomorrow to see if i move on to the next step of starting the stims (last time my lining was too thick to start)

how soon after taking your last bcp did you get you period? i hope tomorrow is good ... this time it took 40 some days to get my period after my cancelled ivf cycle and this time i had my period for 12 days!

my re is putting me on 600 units of gonal f (300 in the am and 300 in the pm)

any insights on the side effects of gonal f?

one crazy thought that i did have ... everytime i was preganant ... my sister was like oh thank GOD now i can tell you I am preganat too! we'll 3 times i m/c and she kept going strong ... well if i get preggers this cycle their is no way she can jinx me this time! she is 40 yrs old and this will be her last pregnancy

i know i'm a little crazy to think that but i'll blame the lupron!

Heidi - Wow! You have 9 aunts and uncles!! My Dad was an only child and my Mom has one sister. So just one crazy aunt over here. DH and I both have thick hair now but I had no hair as a baby. My mom used to tape bows to my head! DH was born on a farm in Syria so no baby pictures to compare. His first photo was on his imigration papers when he was 10. We'll see...

Hehe, Heidi I think it will be therapeutic when we go on Wednesday. I thought it would be the weekend but we head off next week for about 5 days...so heres hoping I get lots of sleep and relaxation.

Susan, I'm really sorry about your puppy. Is this condition very bad? I will be keeping everything crossed for you hun that your little (big) puppy is fine. I have two spaniels who I adore so I know just how you feel. Just keep giving her big squishes and loves so she knows you are there. You are right though, when will the good news start? We need to be in the same city don't we, then we could catch up for coffee and compare how much bad stuff happened that day. The way you and I are going right now we would have a lot to talk about!

Tia, good to hear from you again. I wanted to ask you hun, were your three miscarriages explained? Do they know why they happened? Thats the most frustrating thing for me right now...I just don't want to TTC again until I have some answers. So I was just curious if they had figured it out for you yet.

Rachael, how are you feeling these days? Is your belly expanding? I will have to sneak over to the due dates and see if you've been posting anymore pics. The 3D ultrasound is soon which will be great. I can't wait to see that.

Ronni, when are you poas???

Martie....woohoo for ET next week. I will have to go to an internet cafe near the cottage to see how it went. Very exciting.

Jen, did you survive the wedding?? Post some pics if you can.

Brenna, how are you these days hun? Still busy as usual? I know how that feels, oh, and I wanted to ask a more personal question. How expensive and painful was the boob procedure? I'm thinking at the moment of getting some botox done to cheer me up, so I thought I'd get some insight into other surgeries that I would want to get after having kids. Do they look and feel real??

Peachy, my grandmother had 10 of her own and 3 step children so I had 26 cousins (she was widowed 3 times which I've always wondered about??) Then those cousins started having kids so there were too many. My father was one of 5 boys but not nearly as many cousins from that side.
The bow tapeing made me laugh. Speaking of newborn hair... Stella was born with more hair on her body and ears than her head (lanugo I think they call it). She did have a long dark curl of hair on the top of her head for about 9 months before it all started to grow in. She's still a little hairy thing. She was like my baby monkey. These are the stories that will embarrase her when she's older. My mother used to do that to me as a teenager and randomly tell people I had a lot of peach fuzz on my lower back as a baby. That was just begging people to try and get a glimpse to see if it was still there.

Tia, nice to hear from you. Good luck with your baseline ultrasound. We'll be thinking of you and wishing you all the best. Sister relationships can be complex, so adding IF to the mix must bring up some confusing emotions. I have a sister that never married or had children and is 11 years older, so I feel bad complaining to her about my lot in life. She's very understanding however, and I tell her more about our situation than anyone else.

thanks Sunny

Alana ... 2 were unexplained and 1 was "turner syndrome"

it is totally frustrating because i keep thinking i'm afraid to get pregnant again if its only going to result in another m/c

for this cycle we are going to have PDG testing on the embryos ... my re highly recommended it

we are keeping are fingers crossed!

Tia, I completely know how you feel about being afraid. I'm terrified of getting pregnant again...even if they figure out what the problem is. I know after one miscarraige its mortifying enough, two, three and more just makes you even more scared. I guess the only thing though is I sort of feel like, even though it will be awful to go through this again, I am learning to not put too much emotion into each pregnancy now. Especially when I read an article about a woman that had 19 miscarriages and finally gave birth to a live baby. 19!!! She just refused to give up and didn't let her emotions stop her trying. I know thats what we need to do now...but its easier said than done isn't it?

At least though we have each other on this forum. I know I'll be here for each one of you no matter what the outcome, and you have all been so amazing and supportive of me during this difficult time. Because of that I know I can try again in a few months and not be scared...none of us are alone in this as long as we continue to have internet access!

Thanks everyone for the wonderful words about my FET. I appreciate everyone taking the time to keep up with my life.

Grits, I am so excited to be in the 2ww with you. We can share all our symptoms with each other!

Susan, I hope your doggie will be better.

Rachel, congratulations! How exciting to reach this milestone. I keep you in my prayers that Aiden will make his journey in the womb and not in the hospital.

Alana I hope all is going well with you. Don't hurry to get to a computer next weekend I do not have a Laptop with internet, all though if I talk to DH I might find a way to do this. Basically I will be out for 3 days after my FET with no internet, HOW WILL I HANDLE THIS??
