If you take a picture of them Rachael I can help you put them on ebay. It could be fun, you might get a bidding war!

Thats a great idea about staggering the vaccines, I didn't know you could do that. I'm still trying to figure out the basics here...like what car-seat to buy! Theres so much more to this parenting thing than anyone ever tells you!

Amy- I love your new signature!

Alana- I went with the Maxi Cosi infant car seat b/c it attaches to my stroller and it is the lightest thing ever! It was only $170 which I think is fairly competitive. Think about lugging a 10lb baby plus the weight of the carrier. Ughh...

Susan which stroller does it attach too? Are you buying this all online or at the stores? You are so lucky in the US, some of the stuff I see on US online stores are half the price than here in Canada. I'm thinking of taking a day trip to Buffalo and stocking up...if I didn't have to pay import duty that is. Still, might be worth a try.

here is the stroller I am getting.
Peg Perego P3 Stroller 2007 Toffee

my aunts usually get the stroller, but I am not sure they will like the price. I found it at this website for way cheaper than anywhere else I have looked. I really liked the mint green one but the tan one is like 20.00 cheaper (my tightwadness) so tan is fine too. I liked this one because it is like an umbrella stroller but it has attachments for the car seat. Also you can attach Graco car seats very well, which is the one i have.

I am hoping to start getting the nursery together this weekend. Dh is working over on Sunday so I can do what I want as far as getting stuff orginized I want to get it all together before my shower on May 10th. I wish you all could come. Sorry I am babbling here

Alana- The stroller and infant carrier I bought at a boutique here, but they have the same ones on Amazon and Ebay for the exact same price. Some of them don't have any shipping fees either. So you can buy them online and in the stores. I bought the Quinny Buzz stroller. I can't find a pic online right this second. They do have a YouTube demo though if you google it.

I know for a fact I am not giving the Hep B vac at the hospital. Especially now that I have GD if she has any issues with sugar that means she might already have a low tolerance to stuff and I just cannot do that to her. I am checking out the other stuff. I think it sounds good to go with the 1983 vac stuff. I listened to the larry king live thing on utube and the doctors never really answered jenny's question (I did not see it all need to find the rest of it) on why children need all the new vaccinces but I am not sure they actually got a chance to either. The one doctor said something about saving them from being uncomfortable and in pain. Well I am all for that if it is not going to cause my child to be sick. I get very sick when I get TB shots, most DRs have never heard of this happening to anyone with this vaccine but for some reason I react very badly so I am nervous about giving our daughter any at the moment.

Glad showed up Josee! I wish we were having a cocktail together though. DH and I had a nice night at home planned until he noticed that the RED SOX were on. Ugh. I hate baseball.

Jen - just saw you...hope you come back to chat!

Alana!!!! I am on a GLUTEN FREE DIET right now b/c of my colitis. My accunpunturist told me to try it out. They did an allergy test when I was in the hospital and it came back negative...but I guess they didnt test for an intolerance. I love Annie's Mac & Cheese (gluten free). Yum. And I am eating Quinoa in the morning -its a yummy hot cereal. Do you not eat bread, then?

Susan - LOVE LOVE LOVE the bedroom set. Wish we were shopping this weekend...I saw the cutest baby clothes at Lohemans tonight in Natick.

You all better save all that knowledge and wisdom for me later...I am going to need all the advice I can get.

Heidi - def. enjoy a sinful weekend!! Lots of wine and sushi!

Well off to watch some TV....

Alana- Whatever you do, if you do shop in the states remember that their car seats are not approved in Canada and you can end up with a helluva fine I have heard. You might want to check into those kinds of regulations and what not.

I think we're back! Just in time for my bedtime

Amy - I think you were asking about our nursery. Yes we are using the desk and hutch as our changing station and it works perfect! Most people don't even notice the difference. We also got a convertible crib which I'm excited about. It goes from crib to toddler bed to a fullsize bed. Here's a link to our furniture... I'm warning you it was pricey. We had picked a more basic furniture line but it was a gift from my parents and they refuse to buy made in China furniture and this is one of the few made in Canada.
This is the furniture pieces:
Capretti Home | COLLECTIONS | Toscana
THis is our crib:
Capretti Home | BABY | Cribs | 8121
I'll attach some photos of our nursery...

Susan - I love your furniture choices!! You will really like the convertible crib.

Diva - Come to Atlanta and shop! We've got great outlet malls Can we buy stuff for you and have it shipped w/o you having to pay duties?

Kelly - Brave woman giving up bread. I do it for Passover every year. Worse week of the year for me! Is it helping?

Jen - I'm sorry I got everyone hyped up over the vaccines. You know that I love science and I love that wonderful bright people like yourself are working on cures for us. Now can we work on vaccines for cancer instead of chickenpox?
