thanks heidi. i do remember queenstown and that was one of my more memorable places, although i do remember a lovely B&B there where i left half of my laundry by accident. Me and the ex were traveling with the bare minimum to begin with. We had left Queenstown and gone back to Auckland and realized we had left our clothes. Oh well, that woman is probably still trying to figure out who's laundry she is doing. I also did a biking wine tour there. It was hysterical. We were so drunk that I could not breath long enough to get up those hills! Definitely a fun place. I still love the more remote areas better. I stayed in a Tee-pee in Abel Tasman and a tree house somewhere else... I also stayed in a trailer converted into a Suite. I stayed in the most bizare accomodations. We were backpacking and working periodically on organic farms, so we took what we could. It was a fantastic experience.
I think I will have some ice cream now!

Where's Grits?? I need to do my own PIO shot for the first time and I need some tips. I watched a few on YouTube so I think it'll be okay. Might have to draw a bullseye to get the aim right though.

Heidi-don't panic. Go check out CreoleinDC (Monica Mingo). She has a link to her blog and there she has video of how to give shots. She is really a fantastic girl!

Awww, thanks girls for saying nice things about me. It's funny, the bride's boss's wife (follow?) kept telling DH (every time I left the table) how gorgeous and hot I looked (huh???). I felt ridiculous in a strapless dress (although the 'girls' filled it out well) with makeup on! Luckily the bride's new SIL wants to be a makeup artist and did it for me.

Oh and girls, don't listen to Heidi. I saw her close up and she has beautiful young skin! She does look a bit Irish, but she is a beauty!

Susan-I feel like I should come over and smack your DH around a bit. What the h ell was he thinking talking to a girl in the basement??? My DH's ex called once and wanted to meet us for dinner. The same one that cheated on him with his friend. I told him NO WAY. She was married so I let him go to lunch with her. He did a great job by coming home and telling me what a cow she is!!!
It does sound like the IF stuff coming up really effects him. I am glad you are going to counseling. You really need to have that open communication going on. Still, if you want, I will sic Maggie on him!!!

Tia- yay for starting! Looking forward to hearing the Sat. follie report!

Shelly-did you have your right tube removed as well?

Heidi- you are so funny. I love your segway and TMI stuff. I would check on my cervix but I have no idea what I would be checking for. I think I got the CM stuff down, though...

Alana-I don't believe a word you say about your looks. You look beautiful from your avatar photo. Don't do botox. You don't need it!!! Botulinum is one of the most deadly bacterias out there. There have been fatal reports of using it (maybe not tons, but there are still reports).

To be continued...

Heidi- you know what? My RE in Boston never prescribed PIO. I always took prometrium or the estrogen patch and some other drugs combined. I don't know why. The new/old RE I am going back to see does PIO depending on the age...

Jen- You are a big person for letting DH go to lunch. I guess I am just paranoid. My DH cheated on his ex wife so I am a bit paranoid, though she was a cow too... Well she showed him, she took everything one day and up and moved to Alaska!!! She could not get far enough. I hope he has grown since then, 'cause now I am stuck with him! Sometimes I love him
Still sic Maggie on him please. I love Maggie by the way, she s awesome.

I threw my question out to the greater crowd but it's being sadly ignored. Too much more exciting things going on.

I see Peachy here though, I just know she'll have some tips!!!

Ok... I'll try to type fast so I can get back and check on the PIO debates...

Shelly - I'm sorry the bcp is so evil. I took a very low dose version for the years I was on it so I was alright. I didn't have to take any for my IVF... just 14 days of lupron. I was just laughing so hard at your elevator comment. I can just imagine that woman's face!! I still remember we were kids at Disney world and an older woman asked my youngest brother in the elevator if he wanted more siblings. My brother answered "my dad is out of seeds". My Mom still doesn't know where he got that line from... she was so embarrassed!

Susan - I have to agree with the girls here. Very inappropriate for DH to purposely take the call "in hiding" in the basement. I think having a neutral ground to talk everything over with the counselor will be very helpful. I remember it being a hard cycle for the two of you last time and you need everything as stress free as possible. I really hope the doggie biopsy comes back benign. I just had one with cancer and it was very heartbreaking.

Tia - Great news about starting the stims!! We'll all be hear cheering.

Ronni - You holding up over there? Did you buy the PAOS already?

Jen - You look so beautiful in the picture... and so young! Wow. I can't wait to see the rest of the photos. I'm sure the girls looked great in the strapless number.

Alana - I really hope we all can meet someday. And, I love that Aiden will have so many online aunts! He could use them. I'll have to post everyone's avatars on the bulletin board. Oh, and I was started to get all those little crow feets too this past year. Well, I resorted to treating myself to one of the super expensive creams... and it's working. My skin looks so different. All my huge pores have shruken and my lines are gone. I'm a believer... just have to hide the bill from DH!

Heidi - I'm so impressed that you know what your cervix looks like and how to find it. I'm clueless too! I think it must be a mom thing to repeat all these pregnancy stories. My mom feels compelled to tell me every possible placenta previa story she's gathered... most not good stories to tell a pregnant woman!

I had a busier day so tomorrow is a relaxing beauty day! I'm finally getting my hair cut and colored. It's been months. Can't wait to get pampered a little

Tia, yes I did. Not sure how correct I did it, but I did my best. I pre-iced with frozen spinach, drawing back was the hardest part, I have wimpy hands and they only gave me one size needle not the large one for drawing so it took a while, then kind of perched on the bathroom sink in front of the mirror and jabbed. Actually I found it hard to try and draw back a little to check for blood, so mayn't have done that so well and decided to continue with the shot.

I am reposting the Boston photo for you Tia- too much work to dig back for it!!! Look how beautiful Heidi is (on the right). And look how beautiful and SKINNY Shelly is (on the left). I'm the chubby one in the middle... My red hair color has faded quiet a bit...

Good for you Heidi for getting in there and doing your shot! Where was DH? Sorry I wasn't any help- I never did those shots (did take the fun suppositories once and the pills once).

Rach- what kind of hair color are you using? I know they make some that are safe for pregnancy, but when I asked the lady who did my hair about touch ups if I am pregnant she said 'oh, it all okay (she was Asian and I had a hard time understanding her).
Yes, we are all excited about being online aunties!!! I am a only child and DH has one brother, 30 in Jan- makes lots of money, still lives at home, no time for girls, oh and he is very handsome. He is a triathelete, water polo player, played in the Pan Am games as goaly for field hocky. He is as muscular as my DH is a skinny runner! They are complete opposites. I don't know if I will get to be a auntie from him

Susan-I only let Dh go because I have met her and she is a hag!!!
