sorry that mel had to leave april, i know you miss her. have fun w/ your mom!

jen, i know you won't want to, but can you post pics of your hair?? maybe we can make you feel better about it. but trust me, i know that not liking the color is a huge deal. color really can change the way you look. but i am sure you look beautiful! what if you got some highlights to lighten it up? also, if you go buy really cheap "clarifying" shampoo it stripes out hair color faster. i remember once i was too dark and i used a whole bottle in a week! i would wash over and over in the shower! probably not good for your hair, so if you do it, follow w/a really good conditioner.

I'll get DH to take a picture today. But not right now...I am in pjs and have bed hair. It does make my eyes a bit greener and pop out more. I just need to get used to it. Then when my roots start showing (probably in 4-6 weeks) I will get it lightened again. I am just worried about doing too much dyeing at one time.

I did wash it again last night, then scrubbed my face and neck where the girl got dye all over. That really irritated me. IDK, it is really just strange looking in the mirror at myself. I probably would look good if I went for a bob, but not with long hair. And I am growing my hair until sometime I feel comfortable in my pregnancy. Then I will cut it off and donate it

I need to get a pedi so I can wear my cute new peep toe shoes!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA!!!

Jen we're all eagerly awaiting hair pics!

I'm trying to go to this outdoor arts festival today with Aiden. It's supposed to be 75 and sunny today but right now it's 54 and foggy. Hmmm. Aiden's already dressed all cute in his summer seersuckers. Guess we'll wait till this afternoon and then vote. It's been raining for days here and we are officially stir crazy! Even if it's just a mall adventure we're getting out today before Mama loses her mind

Jen, we want pictures of your new hair and wearing your new toe-peeping shoes. That's a tall request I know.

I don't wear high heels because I'm 5'7" and DH is about 5'8" and it doesn't take much to put me above him (although he's convinced that he's 5'9"+). I feel like Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise.

April - I hope you have a safe trip tomorrow. Sorry you and Mel didn't get to spend more time together!

Rachael - We had bad storms last week but yesterday and today we've got sunshine and 80 degrees! Windy but beautiful. I hope you and Aiden get some fresh air today!

Amy - I've got the same type of weekend as you! I bought some great flowers yesterday and got my hanging baskets done for the arbor. Today I'm putting some more in the ground and doing the mani/pedi when it's all done!

Heidi - How are you feeling? Is tomorrow your big day??

Hi Girls. Sorry I've been MIA, I'm getting last minute things done before I head home on Tuesday afternoon -Yippee, Finally the time has come. So I'm catching up on laundry and packing my suitcases.

Amy and Ronni I'm so jealous right now. I can't wait to get home and work on flower beds and hanging baskets. I just love the spring time. I actually think I missed the tulips blooming in my yard since I've been away for what seems like an eternity.

I did the mani/pedi yesterday with some girls and it was so nice to relax and well needed. Ok, so yesterday morning my girlfriends and I went to get our sugar "wax" brazilian. Yikes is all I've got to say. I've never had my "whoha" wax before ever and I must say that it was the most painful thing I've done in my entire life, I'm so ready for childbirth I think? LOL But when it was all said and done it was worth it but I can pretty much say I'll not do it again. Anyone else subjected themselves to a brazilian before. So needless to say I was puffy and uncomfortable all day yesterday.

Well I'm going to go and finish my last of laundry. I'm washing everything I brought that way when I get home I can just put it away and not worry about washing it all over. I also have my last test on Tuesday so I may study a little bit too, but I'll be back. Hugs!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA! I HOPE YOU HAVE AN AMAZING DAY, YOU SO DESERVE IT!

Still twiddling my thumbs and waiting for the sun. I see glimpses of blue sky so I think there is hope...

Devan - I have to laugh at your brazilian description! I've done it twice in my life. The first time I remember coming home and sitting on ice and knowing my boyfriend at the time wasn't worth it! The second time was for my honeymoon when I did a brazilian and my legs. Not sure which was worse! I swore never to do it again. You should get an extra gold star for doing it during pregnancy when everything is already swollen!

Ronni - We need some garden pictures from you this afternoon! When does dh come back? I realized about 10 more annoying things my dh does as soon as he walked in the door last night. High on the list - puts the mail all over the kitchen table. I think I've become a germ freak and our mail always reaks of cigarettes and I hate it being on a table where we eat. I don't know when this whole germ obsession began...

Heidi - We're all thinking of you!! I'm sure those little snowbabies are getting all excited tonight just thinking about their big day tomorrow!

April - Have a safe trip back to Denver tomorrow. Maybe you can sneak us a review of Jen's hair

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TIA!!! I HOPE YOU HAVE A WONDERFUL DAY!

Amy & Ronni - totally jealous that you are planting flowers. Its about 47 degrees here and all dark and cloudy. I am so ready for spring.

April - Sorry Mel is off on a a trip. At least you two had a nice day yesterday. BTW - the pics Jen posted on FB of the 2 of you are GREAT!

Susan - cleaned my mailbox

Heidi - Hope you are feeling good and had a nice weekend w/ some wine, etc. Where was your profile pic taken? The scenary is beautiful!

Deven - I always get waxed down there...but have never gone brazilian. BUT DH and I were talking about it and I think I am going to try! Did you leave a landing strip? ha ha. Usually I will take some ibuprofen before I go for a wax. I know you can't....

Jen - I so want to see a picture of your hair. I bet it looks GREAT!!!! But if you are unhappy...go back and ask for some low lights.

Rach - total Passover buddies!!! My husband is not jewish...and I just am reformed. But I do follow the holidays. What is Aiden's middle name?

Martie - hope you are having a nice day...

Josee- - hope you are having a decent weekend with AF!

Sorry if I have forgotten anybody today. I just got back from my PCP clinic. I have had a terrible cough for a week and this morning it was real bad. They said because I am on prednisone my immune system is weaker. They also told me I have bronchitis....so I am on antibiotics! WTF! If I have t take anymore medications. Ugh. Anyway, colitis is healing and that really is all that matters.

MUAH to all you ladies today!!!

Wow, you guys are brave with the brazilian thing. I'm all about major groomage, but not for the waxing. I think I'm the girliest tom-boy. I've never had a mani or pedi and only one facial in my life and I was just about driven crazy by the end of it. Getting my hair done is a love-hate thing because it usually takes so long to dry my hair I'm ready to tell them to forget the styling. Hmmh, may have some patience issues. Perhaps a little ADHD.

So all you very organised ladies on the thread. How do you keep all your bills and paperwork organised. I seem to be overrun by papers around the house. Like after you pay your bills do you keep the paper copy or throw away? I think I'm keeping too much.

I'm not sure that they'll be thawing the snowheidis tomorrow? I think that'll be the day of transfer which is Tuesday? or am I wrong, do they thaw the day before and watch them overnight?

Kelly, that picture is from Waikiki. We were there last November for a family reunion.

Kelly - Sorry about the bronchitis Boy, you can check off just about every illness box on the list this year! Spring will be here soon even for ya'll northerners! This used to be the worst month of the year for me in Philly. I was so used to wearing tank tops already come April. Aiden's middle name is Maxwell after my deceased great uncle Marcus. Do you do a seder? What about breaking passover traditions? I always head straight for pizza immediately at sundown!

Tia - We won't tell anyone about the age on your workout machine...

Heidi - OK. If they don't thaw the snowbabies till Tuesday then we'll just have to cheer you for 48 hours instead! I've never done a facial and my hair takes forever to dry too. But, I do love the mani pedis. I keep my paid bills for about 2 years. I have a filing cabinet at home and I write on each bill the date I paid it and the check #. I also use an online service for all my usual monthly bills. They set you up with a PO box where you have all your bills sent. Then they email you when a new bill arrives and you can see a scanned picture of it and pay it online from any of your checking accounts. You also get a reminder email 3 days before the bill is due. The best part... at the end of the year you can order a cd-rom with pictures of all your bills scanned it so you don't have to keep copies and no more stamps.

I feel like groundhog day over here. I can start to see a shadow! Of course, Aiden always takes these quicky 30 min naps during the day and has now been sleeping for 1.5 hours. Hmm. Figures. May have to break the cardinal rule to never wake a sleeping baby...

Tia - Glad you're having a good day. Don't worry about with the workout equipment thinks of your age!

Hey Heidi! We'll wait one more day and cheer you on all the same! I don't know when they do the thaw but April might have some input. How has your weekend been?

As far as staying organized, I sort all mail as soon as I get it and recycle all the junk mail immediately. Don't even look at it. Shred any credit card offers right away. Then, I open all bills and write the due date and amount on the front of the envelope. All bills then go in chronological order in a caddy right next to my computer monitor. That way, I see them every day and know what bills are coming up with the earliest due date staring me right in the face. I pay everything through on-line bill pay with my bank and write the date/amount paid on the front. Then, they all go in my filing cabinet for about a year. Everything gets shredded after that. For random papers, contracts, warranties, appliance manuals, receipts, tax documents, etc., I have some expanding file folders that have elastic bands around them to keep them tidy. Everything that needs to be kept long-term goes in those files. For recipes, addresses, IVF records, etc., I use 3-ring binders with dividers. I'm a binder freak and have ones from our wedding and each house we've built. No binder - No sanity!

I like the service that Rachael described though! That sounds really nice!
