I just got home from a rug auction...euphanism for persian rugs!!! (geez Susan!). We bought a 6'2" x 9' bijar for $800! Plus a 10% auction fee. It retailed for $9,500.

Anyway, you guys don't deserve to see my new hair. phooey on all of you!

Oh, Shawna-they will take colored hair, as long as it isn't damaged. When I asked about the highlights, she said that would damage my hair and they won't take it then, so wait until I cut it off for the highlights.

I ate half of my pancakes and now I want to throw up.

DH is making the bed but he is humming a really annoying tune very loudly and it's annoying me. Hmmm. Listen to him sing or change the sheets myself?...
He has been good today. CLeaned the yard and the garage. TOok me to breakfast, went to Home Depot, now making the bed and I think even did a load of laundry.

Okay, so I've packed one whole ginormous suitcase full and I'm almost done with the other one. But I can't finish that one until I leave. I've got my Pj's and clothes from tomorrow to put in there and then I'm off to Seattle ....literally on Tues at 445 I'm out of Montgomery AL.

Boy am I pooped now. Oh, Rachael how far are you from the ATL airport? I've got a 4 hour layover! I really wanted to make it there before I left but I was just too busy with classes and such.

Susan, pancakes sounds so good right now. Yumm!

I've been feeling baby while I'm packing so I think I'll do one last doppler before I pack it, just to hear the swish, swish again.

Rachel, I LOVE the pics of Aiden. He has the cutest smile. I tried to get out of all the vaccines with dd before going into Catholic school, and they refused to admit her without them. I am hoping this time around with all the new info coming out I will be able to get away with at least fewer shots. If not I will go with the spreading them out plan I guess. I also used the cloth diaper and have bought new ones for burp cloths.

Susan, It is so amazing your friend's little one is hanging in there. I would love to see his pic if I could. I love the furniture you picked out. I would not worry too much about the paci while nursing. I had no issues with it at all (DS) and it is so easy to break the habit compared to thumb sucking (DD). Ronni, I am the guilty one in our house for being untidy! But DH does do one thing which annoys and grosses me out completely! He uses my wall magnifying mirror when he flosses, and flings 'stuff' on it without cleaning it after. So when I go to put on make-up it is all speckled with gunk! yuk!

Jen I am sure your hair is not as bad as you think! You are too cute anyway. YEah for the rug bargain!

Heidi - I'm up some sizes too. I'm going to blame it on not getting pregnant when I was 25. Geez is it hard to lose weight at this stage in life! All I can say is my entire summer wardrobe is from Target at the moment. As if sizes aren't depressing enough, I had to go bathing suit shopping last week for the upcoming family vacation. Urgh... We still have 36 hours to cheer you!!

Susan - How are you doing the hot peppers with your acid reflux? I wrote back on your stroller thread but after today I say you should go to your closest art festival. I swear there was one of every stroller there and I'm sure you would get lots of opinions.

The festival was fun. Weather finally turned nice so we spent about 4 hours there. Aiden was great and even managed to put himself down for a nap in the stroller which was lovely!

are any of you into scrapbooking? this is my first attempt (i am making a pregnancy scrapbook) and my fingers and carpet are covered in glue and i've spent half my weekend working on this, only to complete about 5 pages. i am sooo not an artsy crafty person, despite my inclination to act like one right now. i must be doing that nesting thing you hear about.

hey girls...i only have a sec. are any of you obsessed w/ cosmetics like i am??? there is a co. that is being bought out by nordtroms and right now everything is on clearance bc they are changing their packaging. if you google elf cosmetics you'll find it. everything is a DOLLAR!!! i got tons of lipgloss, eye shadow, etc for only $25! go check it out.

i had to share the wealth w/ my girls...i will be back later to catch up.

Tia! Happy Birthday! What did you do to celebrate?
Chicago had a gorgeous weekend for Tia. It was awesome! We had the windows open for the first time in 6 months. We dethatched the yard, mowed, fertilized and watered too!

Susan - Hows the 'modified' bed rest going? I am so sorry your best friend is moving away. That's gotta be tough. You'll have to get a webcam so you see each other.

amy, cute siggie! Cute, with a cherry on top! We have a Toyota Highlander and we love it. We aren't too fancy with cars since they are just a losing investment. They also have a hybrid.

Oh my goodness Ronni. You and I could never be roommates. I am not dirty but I am so focused on moving forward that I forget to close ALL drawers, cabinets, and closet doors. I just get my cup and move to the fridge. It's a miracle I close the fridge door. But I don't leave toothpaste in the sink or crumbs on the counter. I have forgotten to flush a couple of times. DH goes ballistic on me. Makes me come back and do it while he shakes his head and says, "I don't get it. I just don't. You freak about dust on the baseboards but you can pee and walk away?" I don't get it either. I don't like things all unruly. I just am so caught up, I just move on.

Jen, I like the chocolate brown! You have such pretty long hair. I thought reddish was your natural color until today. Did the sex make things better? You need that mini I told you about. LOL.

Devan, you are a champ for going for a brazillian when you are pregnant. my last wax was so painful down there. I think she ripped skin off. I was too afraid to look with a mirror. And you are almost home now! Aren't you excited!?
