Heidi, I am so sorry I missed you. It sounds like it went okay. You know honestly after the first time I never pulled back to check.....I just stick it, and push...My levels always stayed good and I do not think I hit anything bad.....I never had bruising or bad soreness either, so I must have done something right.

I get to start my PIO tonight!! I am little rusty, wish me luck...lol

Yay for Heidi doing her own PIO!!! I wish I had gotten online sooner - I'd have gotten your number to call you on speaker phone. We must have done our shots at the same time and I would have walked you through it! Don't worry about drawing back to look for blood...I've never seen any when I do it and sometimes I just plain forget that step!

So ladies I have to confess. One POAS done and no good news. I'm not upset though. It's still early (too early I hope) and for some reason it just doesn't bother me. Not that I don't WANT it to be positive, but I'll have a hard time feeling good about a positive anyway with the way things went last time. Until I get a good, healthy, doubling beta number I'll be cautiously optimistic.

BBs are crazy sore but that started with PIO shots. Does seem to have gotten worse and I was describing on the Sept Buddies thread that I can't sleep on my side without propping the top-side one up on a pillow. Just hurts! In fact, I'm avoiding taking off my bra tonight for that very reason. Never been this sore before. Hopefully a good sign. Still some slight craming here and there but seems to have slowed a bit today. Friday can't come soon enough.

Grits - No worries on the PIO - You'll pick it right back up. I know I did. It was like a long lost friend. Are you just dying for Friday to come too?

Heidi - I would do the PIO by myself perched on the edge of the bathtub. That way both hands would be free and I wouldn't have to try to balance. Still wasn't the easiest to draw back and check for blood but it gets easier.

Jen - What?? You just randomly say oh I piac?? What's the story. I think I'm sticking with my same hair color. I did the coloring around 6 wks pg. so it's been 18 weeks. Gray is definitely showing! I asked my hairdresser last time and he said it was more of an organic type dye and it's only semi-permanent. I usually do the japanese thermal straightening every 9 months or so but I'm going to skip that during the pregnancy. Aiden will just have to be patient while I blow dry my hair straight. Ha!

I'm so excited for all these online auties! I only have brothers (and two SILs) and DH isn't close to his siblings. We could use all the love we can get!

Sign me up for being an on-line aunt! That reminds me...I need to buy a gift for my almost 5 year old niece, Erin. She's a sweetheart and we'll be heading to her party on 10/13. Last year I got her a life-sized ballerina doll that she could strap to her own feet and dance with. It was too cute. I think she's over ballet now and has moved on to soccer.

Rachael - I was wondering about hair coloring/highlights with pregnancy. My colorist says that same "It's fine." But, she's French and I only understand 1/3 of what she says. For all I know she said "With your hair, it's so fine, it would bleed right into your scalp and maim your baby."

yeah I am being mean...

I did piac and it was +! BUT BUT BUT, I am sure it is the trigger shot. I did it about 5 minutes before DH called and it is light, but came up w/in 3 minutes. He called me as he was walking down the stairs to his car. I told him, causally btw, oh yeah I did a HPT and it was positive. What is for dinner? He told me he almost fell down the stairs! He knows what day I am and all. He knows about the trigger. I just wanted to see if it was out yet. I only did one other trigger (with the IUI) before and I tested 7 days after and it was negative with first morning pee. Today is 8 days after the trigger (last Sunday). Maybe DH got more of the dose in me this time, or I am holding it longer.

Still, it is fun to see a +. Oh, well, I still have a week before I should test, but I kinda want to keep testing to see how long I do hold on to the trigger for...

Hmmm... I did my first test 9 days after the trigger (6 days post ET) and it was negative. So, I don't know Jen. You'll have to keep testing now and let us know!!

Ronni - I still only think I got a + that early b/c of the twins and now we know just go early the digitals can register. My negative 6 days post ET wasn't with a digital. So, can you hold out another day? Most people tend to see those + closer to the 10 day marker...
