Heidi- HAng in there hun. All these questions sound like something you could work through with a therapist. I know that most people cringe at the suggestion, I know I do and I've seen one before, but they really CAN help and you don't have to put yourself through it all alone. DH's are wonderful but they aren't always keyed into what they should say or how they should say it and an outside opinion can help.

However, have faith Hun. (I know we all hate stories of how this person did this or that....kind of thing..BUT) My SIL went for her FET, she said her bladder was too full, our clinic likes us to hang out for 30 minutes after they put the embryo(s) back in. After three minutes, she couldn't handle it anymore, jumped up and headed to the washroom...afterwards instead of doing bed rest, she went shopping. She came home and told me, she was certain it hadn't worked. I told her to have faith and not count herself out so soon. She is now pregnant with one healthy bean.

Our bodies work in mysterious ways, when we think they've let us down, they've got a suprise brewing. Try not to count yourself out at this point, one can't know just yet...

We are here for you and we definately hurt when you hurt. Have faith and positivity, it will take you a long way!! We love you Heidi, and we know that whatever you choose, we always support you and back you 100%, and just know that we too are you on! We all believe with you!

Thanks for all the Passover wishes! Tonight is the big dinner at my Parents house. Mom of course is in stress out mode and my wonderful father decided to go to a cattle auction today and abandon her. Men...

April - You are so naughty and Jen is only encouraging it over there! Between the sharing showers and needing hands I'm laughing so hard over here.

Susan - Welcome back!!

Heidi - You are really in my heart and thoughts these days. I'm so glad you posted. We were all worried about you. Now, it's not over yet. The last time you were pregnant you least expected it so you never know. Those are some very hard decisions to be making. I had a guilt day on Thursday about the only child thing too. What does dh think about the whole thing? If he is supportive of wanting to keep trying, then the promotion would be the easiest solution to put your what-if fears to rest. You have a wonderful dd and I want you to be able to enjoy every single day you have with her instead of feeling constant guilt. You have to know in your heart that you have put so much effort into this attempt for a sibling that you really shouldn't feel guilt. Some things are out of our hands at some point. Maybe it was meant to be that dd would just get dotted on and lots of loving attention always. But, please don't feel as though there was something you didn't do or didn't do right. You have more than tried and you have put in tons of time and effort into not only IF but just all the emotions evolved daily. You are such a wonderful and caring mother and that is the part that dd will always remember!! Please keep talking about your emotions. Would you feel any better if you have a 2nd opinion consult with another RE to see if they think a "real" ivf versus a trial would make a significant difference?

Off to spend some quality time with dh before our family invasion tonight. Gotta sneak in my last pizza for lunch today too!

Good Morning Ladies...

Heidi - I'm very sorry to hear you are down! I'm sure with the love and support of your family and this forum, you will make the right decision and be at peace with it.

I just wanted to let you know that you can carry Health Coverage with two different health insurance companies. Depending on your state insurance laws combined with the insurance companies policy - they will determine primary and secondary carrier and then coordinate benefits. You just have to make sure to let one know about the other. The only law is that an insured (in most states) cannot profit from health insurance. Normally what happens - is the primary carrier pays, then that EOB is submitted to the secondary carrier and they pick up the remaining patient resp.

Thanks Shawna! I have been lurking and secretly only wishing the best for you and your family.

I've had my share of hard times this past month and when that happens...I internalize everything until I'm through it. My husband was in the hospital for 3 days - he's better now, therefore everything is returning to "normal."

Also, my manager resigned at my job, which means alot of resp. falls to me. I'm sure everyone here can relate - do the work w/o the title.

Brenna - Yes... church on a Sat. morn... I'm a Seventh-Day Adventist. You can find out more about us at What Adventists Believe. Feel free to browse our fundamental beliefs and other links on the left column of the web site. It was only a few short years ago that the general conference got together and brought us into the digital age by posting this useful information on the internet...

Well, I found a stairwell that leads to the back door that I didn't know was there... and it's not so bad. It's not AS convenient as the front entrance but it'll do. It turns out I don't really feel like arguing with the women downstairs. They must have more of a need to have a private entrance than I do to share it with them... and with such a beautiful breeze coming in through my office window, it feels difficult to find the need I had two days ago to fight. *sigh* I think when we go grocery shopping, we'll still use the front door, but for everyday use, it shouldn't be a problem. Anyways, that's my take on it.

I still have more to catch up on and I don't think i am ready to post the MIL issues just yet. BUT-
Houston- we have a problem.
My hot Brazilian contractor sent me a text message on my way to the house tonight (he was there). and I quote(he has funny English)
"If I may say... I used not to like pregnant woman until I see you. Now you are a very sexy pregnant woman and I like to look at you. With all due respect.
I said thank you and he proceeded to text me back and tell me that he dreams about me. Hmmm...
Must have been my apple bottom Heidi

Sort of made my day, but a little embarrased 'cause he still has more work to do here when DH is back to work next week .

I will be hiding in the bathroom.
MIL:
She is coming 4/29
I will begin the story tomorrow.

Heidi- I just want to give you a big hug.
Please don't give up yet. I am thinking good thoughts for you. Anytime you need to talk I am just 25 minutes away. We can shop, eat, talk and walk.
Anytime.

DH is at a restaurant where the waitress leaned over him with her boobs in his face. He went to get a burger after he cleaned the whole kitchen for me.
I had to let him go without saying anything about the boob girl, espeically after my Brazilian man saying those things to me.

Heidi..I can totally relate to what you said about this if stuff taking over our lives. Right now I am busy with my school, but otherwise it seems like my whole life revolves around it. Trying to get time off to make appointments, worrying if I am too old, etc. I just wanted you to know I am thinking of you and you are not alone in this..plus, I am holding out that you are pregnant!

Susan..Interesting about the contractor..but be careful if you are going to be alone with him in the house..I am probably just being overly cautious..but that's kind of inappropriate that he sent you those text messages..(even though he is right and you are hot!).

Well we had been communicating by text for the work he was doing b/c we were away, so I don't think the text was that obscure just that he felt confident to tell me that! I knw his brother and friend and they said he is ok. You know Brazilian men, they just want to flirt with everyone.
I will be careful.
