Wow. It was 90 here today and we are so ready for fall. Do you have AC? Except I do love tank tops... but I'm ready for tanks and jeans already.

Hmmm. I forgot about all the dictating and paperwork involved in medicine this days. I feel horrible for the doctors. No one gets to just focus on the patients anymore and yet all of us still hate our insurance. Today at my doctors they told me they can no longer videotape the u/s or else the tech can lose her medical liability insurance. Some doctor got sued and the patient took their videotape to court so now we are all being punished. The system just doesn't work.

I don't love eating by myself. DH used to work at restaurants where he would be home by 8 other than about 2-3 nights per week. Well, now he's working at this very upscale restaurant that is dinner only (no lunches) so his hours totally adjusted. He's thought about wine sales but all commission for both of our incomes is a little scary. He really wants to be the wine buyer for a whole group of restuarants. The owner of his current restaurant has 9 places in Atlanta so he's been trying to convince them to have one buyer to get better discounts. We'll see.

Enjoy the show over there!

Just watching the show Corner Gas. My mom just put us on to it. It is so strange! Are Canadians really like that in a small town?

It's filmed here:

Welcome to Rouleau Saskatchewan, AKA Dog River, Host to Corner Gas!

Rouleau....lol.

They've painted their grain elevator to read Dog River and everything...it used to say Rouleau. We almost bought a farm near there....

So where is Saskatchewan in location to Colorado? Directly North? Northeast? Northwest? All I know about Canada is Vancouver and Whistler (went with Dh to a conference in Whistler last year and drove via Seattle), and Winser (?) outside Detroit-I went there when I was 6.

wow- I just zoomed out. You are very far north! Do you get midnight sun in the summer? How long is the sun up in the winter?

I'm getting cold just thinking about it. But maybe that is because I am eating a ice cream bar...

Hmm I would say no on the midnight sun thing since I don't know what it is...lol. The sun usually comes up sometime around 8 am or after. It usually sets at about 4:30/5:00 ish. ( i think....lol...I can't remember back to last winter...lol.)

It gets mighty chilly here...like -50 Celcius some winters. And it's a very dry cold...gets into your bones...but thankfully a shorter winter...somewhat. LOL.

I'm conditioned to live here I guess.

I was very good last night. I came home, changed, went to the gym, came back home and showered and went to bed... no forum... responses anyways... I poked my head in around my lunch break (I needed something to do while I was eating... sheesh.). Anyways...

I'm an August baby... the 14th... right smack dab in the middle... mostly... I'm not one of those BARELY August babies... yeah. And we got married July 17th... ninety-gagillion years ago.... okay, three.

Jen and Susan, you're both Valentine babies... and Jen and Tia both got married in October and I'm so jealous... always wanted an October wedding... hands down favorite month ever. We picked July because I wanted to continue my bachelor's the following semester... so no October wedding.

Rachael - Hormones are worse today... ick... but I'm determined to control them. It's awful. When I was on them when we first got married, (which I still find ironic) I was a terror. Panic attacks, hyperventilating, screaming all the time... icky. Well, I'm determined not to raise my voice and I'm concentrating very hard on my breathing when I get upset... but when I got home last night I had a panic attack... my heart was racing, I was nauseaus and shaky... I was absolutely blown away... for no reason. Unbelieveable. But anyways, they won't videotape the ultrasound anymore??? Is that just a Georgia thing or is that standard operating procedure?? At least you got photos... and we can expect to see those when?

Go Martie!!! YAY!

Ronni - we love you! Still got you in my prayers, sweetie.

Jen - Now I want overalls. And are you piac daily and watching the progression? I understand what you mean by wanting to see the trigger go completely and then produce the HCG on your own... Here's hoping! AND lovely bridesmaid... is that black or really dark brown?

Heidi - Sometimes I think we overanalyze our symptoms or lack there of... it's not over til AF sings... and I don't mean hum (like she's doing to Ronni over there) I mean really pelt out a great big Bel canto... KWIM?

Brenna - Sunday I am to start Lupron (provided everything goes smoothly) and then a week from Sunday I should be taking my last BCP... I prayed overtime last night that this would be the last time He ever let me take these... yes, I want a baby... so if He could just make that happen for me this first time, I'd be much obliged. I hate these gosh-awful pills. How 'bout you, my dear? still stimming away?

Off to my second to last marathon at the lab... ugh. Too much work to do, and not enough time to do it. Bah.
