Shawna - I wish I could write more and will later. Your dh is right. Tomorrow everything will make more sense. I know all these hoops we have to jump through are ridiculous at times but you'll think of it on those sleepless nights with your little one and just appreciate all of it the good and the bads. I hope that all makes sense. It will work itself out b/c you are very strong and you and dh have been through so much already!

Josee & Kelly - Here's the update with Aiden. He is rolling all the time which is absolutely adorable. But, there is this huge campaign to put your babies to sleep on their back b/c it considerably reduces the chance of the baby dying of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome during the night. So, Aiden had been sleeping on his back but now that he can roll himself over he "chooses" to sleep on his tummy and I worry myself that he's going to suffocate. The Ped. made me feel much better this morning and said there is nothing I can do. If he's strong enough to roll, than he will keep himself from suffocating. Trying to relax over here He slept 1.5 hrs later than usual this morning and I couldn't help worrying the whole time! Plus, he doesn't shift around at all on his tummy... lays there perfectly still. Oh well! I'm sure it'll be something else soon!

Gotta run to real work. Be back later!

Josee you sweet thing! No flowers here yet but I can't believe you did that! Completely not necessary but incredibly thoughtful. Can't wait to see them - they'll definitely brighten my days over here.

Shawna - Rachael and Josee are right. Every day brings different emotions. Let yourself work through this time and see what tomorrow brings. One day at a time...it's all you can do.

Rachael - I bet watching Aiden these days is wonderful. Wish I were close enough to babysit!!

Jen - You're doing awesome on your job search and the outfit you picked sounds perfect again. My job search continues and I have several prospects but everything is moving so very slowly. I'm hoping to at least have a good tan by the end of next week. I've decided smaller goals like that are more rewarding for me right now.

Fortunately the weather is wonderful and I just took Buster for a nice, long walk. Going to head to lunch and then get my hair cut. I'll check in later!!

Oh poop! The florist wasn't able to make it out to your house yesterday, Ronni. The lady said they'd be there today. A day later but hopefully they'll be just as beautiful.

Send us your new hair pics!

Kelly- My clinic is an eight hour drive from here or an hour flight. They sprung on this needed u/s on me just on wednesday or something. So they said I can try and get it here, which I can't. They tell me I can pay for it then they tell me that I can't pay for it. They tell me to see my doctor but I know that all those hoops to get my u/s report back to my RE will just cause it to get lost. (this province is full of incompitent people!) So my clinic has told me I can have an u/s there but this would mean flying and driving myself. And I am so being honest here that I cannot drive in a city that big. ( a million people, a million grumpy drivers and a million accidents a day! LOL Our province barely has over a million people and that city has that amount living in one city!)

Well I think I'm going to get out of the city for the afternoon. I just can't handle the whole thing today and my SIL called to cancel our lunch date. She is running behind today, so instead I'm going to go pick up lunch and go out and hang out with my hubby in the truck while he supervises someone else doing work! (love how that works! )

Poop...no-one ever comes to boring old Canada. I'm going to go on strike soon and move back to Australia or New Zealand and then you'll all be sorry you didn't come visit me! Lol, seriously though, I'm jealous here, I would love to be in Texas when you all meet up. If only DH would hurry up and get his LA job...then at least I'd have April and Kris to harrass everyday and would be closer to you West Coast gals. I just wish I had an endless pot of time and money so I could come visit you all one by one before the baby arrives. I'm still hopeful we might get down your way Rachael. DH and I are still wanting to do the road-trip with baby Reed in tow as we've heard theres some nice beaches along the way. So stay tuned for a down-under visitor oneday.

Ronni, I'm glad to hear you are doing well all things considered hun. Thats great your DH has a new job in a different industry too. I know only too well how soul-destroying for men it can be to be out of work and not happy with the career they are in. It was nice though that he had the time off to be with you the last few months.

So, ebay ROCKS! I just received one of my clothing baby boy bids and there are sooooo many cute items, all of them new with the tags on still. The cutest little outfit is this funky Sean John shirt and shorts for when hes 12 months, its so hip, lol. I love ebay and think I might be addicted!

If I get this job I had the lunch date thingy at today I can go to Texas in July!

Shawna-I am so sorry hun IF does suck and so does the hoops. I know the dance well- I am doing it for the freakin' insurance company now.

Oh, I posted my website (not finished at all...just started it) on FB.

And what do you think about this. As I was leaving my interview I pass a section that is a off-ramp of a highway where there is always someone asking for money. It makes me uncomfortable...lots of times it is some big scary looking guy and you just never know about car jacking. And I have mixed feelings about giving money away like that. I do it in Boulder at the outdoor mall for street performers, but if I gave a dollar to every one I saw, I would spend $20-$40 which is crazy!
Anyway, to get back on point, there was a woman asking for money, holding a sign saying "pregnant, down on my luck". My stomach turned over. I did take out $5 from my wallet, but the light changed and I had to go (cars in front and behind me). One person did give her money. I almost wanted to go back and give her the money and felt bad that I didn't, but a part of me just doesn't think it is right. What do you guys think? What would you do? Why is a pregnant woman begging for money???

Tami-how are you doing?

Trust me Jen...shes not pregnant. We have them here in Toronto, and its only ever a pillow or clothing item stuffed under their tops. The other thing they do here...which actually works better as it makes you feel bad....is they have dogs sitting next to them and the sign reads 'my dog is hungry, please help'. Of course, with the poor doggy staring at you with big brown eyes you can't help but give them money.

But don't worry about the 'pregnant' girl, the only thing shes nuturing is a crack habit!!

FB please!

Jen- She is not pregnant. I am a total advocate for homeless people but I also know there are total loser cons out there. Pregnant- she would be in a shelter to protect her unborn child. She knows this, she is trying to support some nasty habit.

I love your website BTW Jen.

I got into an arguement with a 75 year old Jewish lady(the old Jewish ladies in my neighborhood are very mean) at the supermarket. She told me I bangd into her carriage and that just b/c I was pregnant did not mean I owned the store. I went off on her and in the end called her a F$%^^ B%^&ch and hopefully made her think for a minute. She actually had the nerve to say, "I feel bad for your husband". SO I called her fat then she told me I was fat and I said I'm pregnant, what's your reason for being fat!
I could not beleive the audactiy of this woman and honestly one more word out of her and I was ready to pucnh her.
Wow. Just amazed at the people in this world.
Hope she slips and falls on a banana peel.
