Thanks everyone for all of your kind words I had a little guilty flash after I posted yesterday. Almost a survivor's guilt if that makes sense. I was worried that I might have offended some of you. I know we're all there to support each other but I also know what a tough grieving process this has been for everyone. I'm probably just rambling but I would never want to cause any more pain for any of you. Anyway, thanks to each of you for your support! I can only imagine how tough it must be and yet you continue to be there for each of us every day no matter where we are in the process.

We do have a favorite boys name. My grandmother whom we had planned on naming the baby after was Ann. Not a great boys name! So, we're going to use an A name..... Aiden it is! Still working on the middle name.

I am with all of you with the whole modesty thing. Honestly, I'll I could think of yesterday in the hospital was JenCat!! I kept remembering your story about how the EMT found you with no undies and DH seeing all sorts of "stuff" in the hospital. Well, I was right there with you! The hospital had me put on their undies (more like sheer boy shorts) with the biggest pad you have ever seen in your life. Oh, and the nurse would waltz right in, pull down my sheet, and the undies, to do a "pad check". Almost died at that moment! I'm one of these where DH will have to stay next to my head for the entire delivery. Hmmm. Hospitals will have none of the modesty

But my modesty issues doesn't mean I don't love to hear that AF is visiting at least two of my girls right now!!!

Thanks Jen! I have skimmed the thread...but unfortunately my head is so not with me. I hope everyone is doing well. I have honestly been kinda out of it lately...I can;t explain it. The RE trip was okay, but it has made me incrediably upset and wondering what else I don't know!

I'm now on Metformin...seems to be doing a number on my stomach! Urg!!

Rach- First, you are up way too late. You need to get some sleep to take good care of Aiden (love the name btw!)
Second-not a single one of us feels anything but love and support for you and Aiden! Never ever feel guilty with us (and I feel like I can speak for all of us here). We cried with you when you lost Twin B, and we are right here celebrating the health of Aiden. Besides, this way you get to be the first of us to go through all the gross stuff during labor and delivery, so you can tell us all about it to ease our minds...we all know it will happen for each of us soon.

Third, remember I got DH to get me pants (his pj's-closest thing he could find) so the EMTs didn't get their cheap thrill- and there were 8 of them!!! But yes, I did have the hospital-issue undies with the humongous pad that probably could have served as the Hoover Dam if need by. And the nurse pulling down my sheets and pad for a look-see.

Shawna-explain this:
The RE trip was okay, but it has made me incrediably upset and wondering what else I don't know!

What happened? Did I miss a post? Why the Metformin? I am sorry your stomach is upset. So is mine, but I think I can pin that to a bad batch of cherries...let's just say that I can hardly stand to be around me right now!!!

give me Grits over a Vegamite sandwich anyday (even though I haven't tried it, but the explanation didn't sound too appetizing...). Or Haggis- I went to Scotland last October and tried to get DH to taste it...of course I wouldn't!!! Neither would he.

Alana-well post the other photos! I love the one you have now, but want to see the others. I will try and post a couple of good ones of me that I took (oh, I take about 10 -20 photos of me until I get a good one in a pose I like! I love digital cameras! I got a good one of DH and I kissing at the beach on the Cape. I like that one.

I just want to congratulate Rach on her baby boy!! To start off!!

Jen- Well three years now and they failed to mention the borderline PCOS?? I mean what?? Why didn't they before? Was it a case that could have gone either way? Maybe but still...all along I've been thinking why am I not ovulating...and the weight gain-blamed that on Clomid...but nope...it's PCOS. So okay...but did we really have to go through two miscarriages to be told "Oh yeah, you have PCOS?" These are the best doctors in Canada i have been told, and I feel comfortable with my RE beyond belief but why didn't they tell us this sooner?! And is there anything else they're holding back? (Which I doubt but still!) I just can't get my head around anything right now. And the met...urg...it's doing it's job on my stomach today. I guess the RE trip just left my head spinning and I'm still trying to make it stop.

Dh and I are also officially on a break. In two months, we'll hit the three year mark and only now are getting answers. Plus DH still has not found a good job after losing his, which means no IVF until then! And life just seems hopeless but hopeful all at the same time and I don't know what the heck that's supposed to mean but still! LOL

One more question...

Do any of you girls know who Howard Jones is? I absolutely love him! Today is the 10th anniversary of the speakers that DH and his dad made for him for graduating college (they are fantastic!). So we have been cranking Howard...

It is funny. Even though I think some actors are hot (Johnny Depp), I have never really been into the typical good looking stars. What I like is talented musicians. Due to the genera of music I like (80s rock), most of them are gay... But Howard Jones is THE one that I fantasize about. But in my fantasies he is this tall guy. When I saw him in Feb (for my b-day...DH drove me 650 miles to go see him in St. George, Utah...oh, I have now been banned from any concerts outside a 100 mile radius of my house, which really doesn't give me many options, except things that are at MOST 30 miles away!) I had front row seats (OMG!!!) and he was playing acoustic piano, so close, and when he stood up, he was short!!! I am talking my height short! Just not what I pictured. But still, in my fantasy he is a tall guy who walks into my house and just continuously sings to me while playing piano (while I am sleeping he plays classical piano)...sigh!!!

Yes, I am crazy. But it is my harmless fantasy. I have several signed CDs from him (and a friend bought me a signed LP- don't even own a record player, but will get it framed!!!) and several t-shirts. Poor DH. But that is okay cause he has Margo Timmons on his computer screen at work (from The Cowboy Junkies). Of course, I have Howard on my work computer!!!

I am also a big fan of Thomas Dolby, Tom Petty (saw him 5 times in concert), Erasure (2x-Andy Bell is gay so no fantasies, Queen (ditto), Styx, Supertramp, the Who, Joe Jackson, Jackson Browne (cute), oh, I can go on forever...
I think I am going to go put on Europe-Final Countdown...it sounds great on the system, AND it drives DH nuts (not a big fan of groups named after continents...)

I actually love grits with salt and butter, and surprisingly they have a Cracker Barrel here, so I can still get them.
My hcg came back @ 12. I do not know if that is good or not. She told me to do a hpt in two weeks to make sure it comes back neg. I hope AF shows up sooner rather than later. My OBG tinks mid Aug.

Hi Shawna. Do not worry where your head is, jump in anytime.I hope your belly feels better soon.

Rachel, do not ever worry about that stuff. We are here for support of all kinds. And you inspire us. I love the name Aiden. And you definitely cannot be modest during delivery! But you will be so excited and ready to get that 'parasite' out of you nothing will bother you by that point!

Jen I have to go Google Howard Jones now.....

Grits, AF didn't show for me until my numbers were beneath a 5. I guess it was near 5 weeks since the d&C for me. I'm sure it won't be far away for you!!

Peachy, it didn't even cross my mind there was something to be offended at? We are all praying that things go smoothly for you. You'll be so preooccupied that day that modesty is far from your mind at that stage.

Re visit went well today I guess. I have a hysterosonogram or something similar next week to make sure no damage to the uterine lining from the D&C. Then if all is well he's saying we can do FET next cycle.

Alana- How many follies did the RE find yesterday? I can't remember if CD3 u/s shows the number of potential follies or not...or if they just saw mine on CD12...I thought it was CD3 though.

Sunny- I will be that your test next week goes perfectly!!!

Grits- Where were you in the 80's???? Come on, you are my age! Don't you know "No One Is To Blame" and "Everlasting Love"?

Jen, umm I just googled Howard Jones, and hmmmm, you're right he's not a pretty boy!!! No offense. I do like "everylasting love" however. I'm the same age (yes, yes I'm a few months older), but grew up in NZ as you know, so mayn't have the vast knowledge of 80's bands as you do. Ever heard of Split Enz or Crowded House?

Peachy, I love the name Aiden. I went to school with a cute "little" boy named Aiden when I was in about 8th grade. He used to sip his soup like Bugsy the rabbit. It used to fascinate me. I always have been a people-watcher. That's my most distinct memory of him -- I wonder what people's most most vivid memory of me is from then?? They would have a visual of a face full of freckles and bandaids on both knees.

JenCat - I can't think of who Howard Jones is... hmmm. I'll have to ask DH tonight. He's much better about these music references.

Sunny - Glad everyone is a fan of Aiden. I think it's one of those names that works for a kid or an adult and you don't have to shorten it with a nickname. Plus, I always think of sweet, sexy, sensitive Aiden from Sex in the City Just don't tell DH!

Alana - What's the update from the RE?

Grits - I gotta admit I love my grits covered in butter with cheese melted on top! Glad you can find some decent ones out there to remind you of home!

Heidi!!! He was a cutie back in the 80s. Gotta realize he is 52 now. I'm glad you like his music. And surprisingly, I hear at least 5 or 6 of his songs from the 80's in regular rotation on 2 or 3 of our local radio stations!!!
Yes, I have heard of Crowded House. Split Enz DH says he has heard of. Was it the same dude from Crowded House?
It was actually DH who got me hooked on Howard Jones. I was looking for a CD to bring into lab when I was in grad school and he handed me his Best of. Well, it all went down hill from there.

We can't get good grits here...I am not sure Colorado-ians know what grits are.

okay, I haven't seen that photo. I actually got several from the concert in Feb and he is still cute (in my opinion...). But the spiky hair... so cute.

Wait, I just googled him and did not see any photos with a mullet. Are you sure you got the right bloke???

And the British accent! Love it!
