Thanks Josee. He is definately happy to have that big hairy monkey off of his back. The problem didn't magically disappear however and I'll always be on my toes but it's all good right now.
No more horror movies for me either. I like happy endings.

Watching No Reservations over here. It's cute so far...

Ronni - I know this weekend must be full of emotions but don't forget that having a baby doesn't make you a success. You've done that all on your own and nothing can change that. You have a wonderful home, a husband you've been through the ringer with and you only love each other more, a favorite kitty, and a Buster that occasionally even behaves. You are at an amazing place in life and this week doesn't change that. The new job will be here before you know it!

Susan - I had the swollen ankles way before I had protein issues. But, yes, I did start spilling protein at 37 weeks, Aiden wasn't moving in utero even when they would buzz him with this vibrator, I misserably failed my NST, and they induced. You are way too early to be worrying about these things! Just take it easy up there.

Heidi - Some of the most brillant people in the world have ADD. You need lots of thoughts floating around!

Geez... it is torrential pouring over here!

Brenna-I love your house...and Montana is not THAT far for me

Kris-I put the site on my siggie, but I am not afraid to post it here. The more advertising, the better, right?

Welcome to Glass pHusions by Jennifer! « Glass pHusions

yes, I am a nerd

Josee-I definitely want to post your comment. Tomorrow I will see my webmaster (just kidding, he is a guy I work with) and will ask him how to do it. Thanks for the compliments, and feel free to post the website wherever you want! The 'webmaster' and I chose wordpress because it was free (I am cheap...well, I don't know if people really want to buy stuff from me!). It says on the site if you are interested, contact me. Right now I will just take checks and cash and money orders. But if enough people are interested, I guess I can set up that paypal thingy or a mastercard/visa thingy. I have a friend in FL who said he'd help me with that

Re: Shelly- got a text this AM...was on my way to RMNP for my hike. Her sister had the baby...7 lbs, 11 oz. I hope she is up to her eyeballs snuggling her little nephew!

Heidi-I so wish you lived closer to me. You may be ADD, but I love ya! And aren't we all?

Ronni-you are not a loser.

As for me, I got a bit of sun today. Had a nice hike, well until the last 1.5 miles when DH and I had a argument about vacation spots. Then I just hauled azz to the car and didn't speak to him until we got half way off the mountain. But we are good again. Stopped at this house in the middle of BFE that sold outdoor Amish furniture and bought a bench. We are going to order a patio set from them.

Ronni, sweetie, you are the farthest thing from a loser! I promise you! As everyone has said, you are fantastic. You are funny, you are simply gorgeous, you are a wonderful friend, a great wife (I am positive!) You are so much more then stupid IF and not having a job! You can't help it that you were downsized. Anyways, I know that the perfect job is coming for you!!!

Heidi- I just did that test thingy and I scored 72 but here is the thing, many of the same issues for ADD are the same for Depression and I have been previously diagnosed with clinical depression. So personally I feel that it is partly both. I have learned to live with it. I have to make lists to even do housework otherwise I never succeed in finishing. My aunt (whom I worked for) used to make so much fun of me and call me stupid when i would make lists at work. I just realized I had an issue with concentration and organized my thoughts on paper so it wasn't such a huge jumble in my head.

Martie- THinking of you Sweetie! And of the little one as well!!

Rachael- How cute!! Aiden's first trip to the zoo!!!

Amy- Sounds like lots of work!!! Huge boobies! I wish!! lol.

April- Thinking of you my dear!

Susan- Can't wait for pics of the chair rail!

Josee- can't wait for your pics either!!

Shelly- THinking of you and your sister!! Hope everything is going perfectly!

Jen- Love your site, are you taking paypal for payment? Maggie is TOO cute!

Kris- you are getting so close!! Can you even imagine this time next week Simon will be here!!

Brenna- You have a beautiful home!! And area!! And the sweetest little pups!!

Alana- How's that bump coming along?!

OH! I think this calls for updated bump photos!!

Devan- How is your BP hun?

Kelly- as for your question, currently we live in a "big" city for the province we live in. We are moving out into the country in the next couple of months, and will be living on the farm. It is about a thirty minute drive or 45 kms or so, to the "big" city.

I sure hope I have not missed anyone. We have a fair amount of members in our group here! Please kick me if I forgot you!!! And know that I apologize!

We spent the day out at the farm again. I took some photos of where we are placing the modular home we have ordered but it's so hard to see where things are going anyways. LOL. It was so nice we didn't even want to come back to the city. I hate city living. We listed our house privately on Friday, we have't had one call on the place yet and DH is bumping our possession date to negotiable from August. If someone buys our home, we will be homeless!! LOL. I've already done the whole living in a holiday trailer!! LOL I guess we'd maybe live with DH's brother, wife and two little ones!! It would work but still, I don't want to inconvienance them any.

Shelly , How is your sister and baby?

Jen, You should apply at the lab here! You could come stay with me for your interview. Sounds like a fun day minus the fight. What did her sister have?

Amy, Sounds like you had a day like mine.

Kris, I cannot imagine how you stayed out that late! I went out Friday night after lying in bed most of the day and I was still ready for bed by 10!

Susan, I would love to see pictures of your chair rail!

Rachel, I bet the zoo was fun. I remember bringing Landen when he was almost that little.

Thanks Ronni Yes I got almost all of my pot on the porch planted. We have a few since the porch wraps all the way around the house. My back is killing me now! Get DH to put lotion on your back. And you are so NOT a loser! Enjoy your time!

Josee, I really do not want them here, but I could not see telling my MIL I did not want her here when she asked me. They live in Louisiana, so when they come they stay here. They will be here 2 weeks! I hope to get my kitchen back by next weekend. My SIL is coming with her family the following Tuesday for a week!

Hi Heidi

Hi shawna, sounds exciting planning a move to the country.

Well I am beat! Planting pots at this stage was way harder than I though it would be! I have convinced DH to finish dinner with the kids while I am catching up Now I am going to find some dinner and go to bed!

Oh the drama... Thanks, Jen, for keeping the positives posted! Yep... my sister's kid is a 7-11... just like her husband.

On my way there, my mom called and said she was pushing... my mom wasn't allowed in the room... no no, not per the doctors... per the 17 year old daddy-to-be! He wouldn't let my mom in the room with my sister while she was in labor! I'm sorry, but NOBODY is gonna tell me that my mama isn't going to be holding my hand when I'm pushing a 13 1/2 inch head out my vajayjay!! (which, by the way, was how big the baby's head turned out to be) Then, when the labor was over, and everyone could hear the squawking, James came out, shut the door behind him, handed Mom a camera with pictures he had taken, and went back in the room for an hour and a half... he STILL wouldn't let anyone in. My poor mother was completely broken hearted that she couldn't be with my sister during this time in her life... and it was all because of a 17yo on a power trip. Ugh. (And then he declared that his son would not be circumcised...)

Anyways, when the drama was over, and he finally let us in, my sister had a little tyke. James Lowell the IV. Lemme see... photos...

http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/6...byjamesxe8.jpg - Baby James just after his first bath.
http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/4...enjamesir3.jpg - My sister holding her new son.
http://img337.imageshack.us/img337/3...lynpapals0.jpg - Me and my dad looking at Baby James.
http://img185.imageshack.us/img185/6799/sistersen2.jpg - All three sisters looking at Baby James.
http://img211.imageshack.us/img211/9...lyjamesxx5.jpg - Left to right, Katie, Emma, Me, and of course, Baby James.

And then a three hour drive back home and into bed... man alive! Katie was actually due yesterday... I thought that never happened. She was in labor about ten hours, hard labor about 45 minutes... she was dilating nice and quickly until she got the epidural... which slowed things down so much they had to give her pitocin to speed things up... had she just waited and toughed it out, she could have been done with labor in 6 hours... but it certainly wouldn't have been as "easy" for her.

Anywho, I guess I have to get back to the grind... ugh... I hate my job.

Martie, thinking of you and hoping that everything is okay. I know you’ve probably got a lot going on right now. You are definately in all our thoughts and prayers.

Kris, you’re up next. It’s nice your mum can come help. I can’t wait to see little chubby cheeks.

Piffy, thanks for the recipe. I will keep it in mind for future use. My black bean and brown rice (didn’t know DH had used all the white until the water was boiling) glug turned into quite a nice vegetarian chili thanks to DH upon his return from work. Always saving my culinary disasters.

Jen, the website is looking great.

Kelly, I hope you take lots of pictures on your vacation for us to peek at.

Ronni, you are so far from being a loser. From what I’ve come to know of you, I admire you a lot. You've got a beyond wonderful home, a stable relationship and some cool friends from the sounds of it which are all great things. I envy you on many levels. Give me a slice of your brain and humor for a start. You’ll get a superb job soon enough too. I hope your interview goes well. I’m sure you'll knock their socks off.
This may be too early to ask as I‘m sure you‘re still collecting yourself and your thoughts, but have you thought further about going the adoption route? I’m still churning that option over in my head. It’s certainly a lot of think about. For me I feel like one would have more control over the outcome than all this IVF BS. I don’t know?

Susan, sounds like you did a lot today - be careful though. I hope your back isn’t killing you. Your little one is lucky to have such an organized momma. I still don’t know what a chair rail is. I should have looked at the link someone posted.

Speaking of being organized, I was reading the symptoms of Adult ADD today and I seriously think I’ve got it. DH doesn’t like it when people have crutches, but geez, what if I really have it. Trouble is, I’ll never get around to calling a professional for their opinion because I’m too disorganized and procrastinate always unless it‘s IVF stuff and I get very obsessive about it. It’s weird because my MIL has made strange comments like ….so and so reminding her of me because she also likes everything perfect and I have no idea what the hell she’s talking about because my mind is in ciaos all the time and so are my surroundings usually. I think I do know what she’s trying to say and I don’t think it’s a compliment.
My problems are primarily staying focused, my thoughts jump around constantly and sometimes everything is just a blur, being very disorganized despite my best intentions and completing tasks is an issue. I have a million projects on the go and although I love finishing something, it’s very much a struggle. I am easily overwhelmed and say I go to tidy up an area I’ll totally get distracted and I’ll be worse off than when I started because it turned into something else. When I have to do something important at work, I have to check, double-check and triple-check myself and I still feel like something will be wrong. That might just be because you current boss gives me a complex however.
I don’t know how authentic this quiz was but I answered it as honestly as possible and my results read:
RESULTS OF YOUR ADD QUIZ: YOU SCORED A TOTAL OF 78.
It is highly likely that you are presently suffering from adult attention deficit disorder, according to your responses on this self-report questionnaire. You should not take this as a diagnosis of any sort, or a recommendation for treatment. However, it would be advisable and likely beneficial for you to seek further diagnosis from a trained mental health professional immediately.
Anyone else want to take the test and see what you get? Psych Central - Attention Deficit Disorder (ADHD) Test.

I got a 42 on that test. I don;t know if that is good or bad.
I also just sneezed and peed my pants.

Well, by 6:30 this a.m DH and I had eaten breakfast and gone for a walk. DOgs are feed and I have a giant list of things to do today. I am off to the shower and off for my day.
Hope everyone has a good day!

Martie???

Hi everyone! I am back amongst the living again! Phew am I glad that is done..I thought I was going to have a nervous breakdown for a while there.
Anyway, I am back home..of course Mel has been gone on a trip the whole time I have been home..I leave tomorrow morning on my first trip and she comes home in the evening! Ack! I think I have a girlfriend somewhere! I have missed you all and will do my best to get all caught up.

Shelly..Your nephew is darling. That sux that your mom wasn't able to be in the room during the birth. I think someone needs to have some words with that kid.

Martie..I'm thinking of you. News??

Jen..I love your website! And the jewelry is gorgeous!

Heidi..I am afraid to take that test cause I know I will score super high!

Ronni..You are not a loser! And try and enjoy this time while you are not working..cause you will probably miss it once you are back into the grind! I bet your yard looks lovely. I was going to plant a bunch of flowers today, but it has been mega hot here the last few days. I'm leaving tomorrow for 4 days and am afraid they will all die..maybe next week.

Hi Shawna, Brenna, Devan, Susan, Kelly, Kris, Tia, Amy (where is the haircut photo?) and Josee. Ok, who am I missing? Oh, Rach! Who else?

Hi April! Welcome back! Hows it all goin'? Will you be back in Denver soon?

Shelley, you and your sister look a lot alike! Congrats on baby James. :-)

Jen, here is that blog 'store' i told you about. She is a home crafts person too. High On Craft She put her store here: Etsy :: highoncraft :: High On Craft (Girls, there is some cute stuff there) And I'll bet she'll share trade secrets if you need some.
