Susan ... are you ok? I really hope u are feeling better.

Lunch with the girls was totally awesome .... great conversation, laughs and food minus the wine for me

Josee and Rachael are both beautiful inside and out ... they gave me a willow tree pregnant lady and a swaddler blanket ... how sweet is that

I was impressed that I didn't start crying! After lunch we went back to the hotel and played with Aiden ... he is so sweet and LOVES to flirt he is getting to be such a young little man!

Can't wait until tomorrow for my second beta and round two with girls and our dh's for dinner! I'm sure the conversation will be much different with the boys

Rach and Josee .... thanks again so much for today ... you both are such amazing women and I'm glad that we meet today!

Yes ... but so far just of Aiden ... tomorrow we will take more ... since the boys will be there!

I forgot the cutest part of the gift .. it was so creative ... 3 boxes of candy ... sugar babies, junior mints and sour patch kids ... how fun is that!

It sounds like you girls all had a nice time, I can't wait to hear about tomorrow nights dinner and hopefully we will see some pictures. The gift sounds perfect Tia, in fact I'm having a huge craving for that candy now you mention it!

Kris, Simon is so gorgeous. Does he have red of blonde hair? I'm sure it looks red from the pictures. I can't believe I'm 27 weeks tomorrow either. In fact, Reed might be more than that as his head measured a week ahead (that sounded confusing..lol) at his last u/s. Although I'm not sure if the head is an accurate measure of how big the baby is in general...he may just have a large mellon!

Marissa, where is the January thread located? In the Duedate buddies? I'd love to see the poas, all of mine started out very light so its likely it was a chemical. I'll go hunt it down now.

Hi Heidi, how are you these days? I've been doing the typical pessimistic kiwi thing and googling 'premature birth' etc. Why are there so many horrible things on google?!! My RE said she'd like to ban internet access from all pregnant women...I think she has a point!

Alana- It is on the IUI board but I just bumped it again so if you click "new posts" it should be there. "faint bfp at 10 piui"

Why did it just sound like someone dropped a crowbar right outside my house? Gotta go turn on the flood light...

Oh rethinking having Dh's baby. He fell asleep on the couch and when I woke him to go check on the crowbar noise. He goes to check in the driveway and forgets to turn the door alarm off. So it starts blaring after thirty seconds. And he starts yelling that he doesn't know what the he ll I am doing to him. And starts slamming doors and yelling. He stomped up the stairs and growled like some caveman. Do I really want a tiny version of that? He is such a man child. Throwing a tantrum? Come on he is 34 years old. And if he thinks he gets the bed tonight he is nuts. God forbid I scream while the burglar is trying to kill me if Dh is sleeping, I would probably get in trouble for that too. Is he gonna yell at the baby if he wakes him up? Should I be concerned?

Marissa, just had a look at the picture and it is absolutely 110% a faint positive! All three of my pregnancies started out looking exactly the same, including this one. It wouldn't be the trigger either as it was way past that time. So I think its safe to say it was a chemical, and now you just need a sticky healthy little embie and you'll get to see that line darken everyday.

By the way, was it a crowbar? You've got me freaking out over here!!

Alana- We were posting at the same time. See above . I know me watching scary dateline doesn't help matters. I dont know whether to be sad or optimistic about the likely chemical. Is it normal to have both feelings?

Honestly, I think every single man on this planet is a total as s when woken up. But I doubt having his little baby waking him up because he/she is hungry etc will be the same as his wife waking him. I personally believe they save all their tantrums just for us. Aren't we lucky?!!

Wow is Simon adorable. Those are some beautiful pictures, Kris. How are you healing from the delivery? Are you feeling well? And is Simon sleeping well?

And yes, today was a lot a lot a lot of fun. It was so cool to see the girls in real life. Tia was beaming the entire time. She was on top of the world. The girls were just as awesome in person as online if not more. It was so cute. We even split an ice cream three ways with three little spoons. There we were eating and all of sudden, 3 hours had gone by at the restaurant. So we had to get back to the hotel to see Aiden and relieve Rach's starving husband. Aiden was absoluting adorable with the cutest lips and the most addictive blue eyes. Aiden got sleepy just as it was time for me to catch my train. All in all it was a fabulous day.

Girls, what are your plans for the weekend?

So no one is sure what is up with Susan? I am worried here.

Oh and I checked out the other side of our house and it looked like neighbors were loading stuff in their van. Either that or they were being robbed .

Alana, step away from the google. It can be very daunting. So much stuff on the internet is just the worst case scenario. Little Reed isn't going to come out until he's good and ready.
I'm totally feeling pessimistic too right now. I'm a little bummed that I'm spending the night of my 10th Anniversary most likely sleeping on a stinky futon at my MIL's house. All so we can have her babysit for the night, but she has to go to work at 5AM the next day so we can't pull an all-nighter. That's okay, we've never been away from DD for longer than the length of an average egg retrieval and arrived today in anycase. Happy Joy!

alana, his hair is really light blond ... it really does look red in those pictures! i wonder if it's because his little scalp is all red - he's got a mild case of cradle-cap (dry flakey skin) so he's all pink right now. i did the exact same thing as you - googled all the premature baby sites. it is totally demented and i don't know why we do that to ourselves. anyway, you are at 27 weeks and really don't need to be worrying about these things anymore.

tia, i love the themed candy you got - how cute! i would love for you to meet simon. we'll obviously have to get our kids together at some point.
