Random thoughts:

I have sciatic pain that comes and goes and I can't keep still. I hope the tylenol PM kicks in soon.

Josee, I forgoet to mention I eat many Cherry Pie Larabars.

Roscoe Jenkins is the longest movie in the world and we only got two tiny chuckles.

I would never watch Hostel. DH loves horrors and he thought it was gratuitous ? I think I would be traumatized forever.

Amy, can you knit? My mother knits cute baby garments with New Zealand wool and sells them at a local store. If she was internet savy she could make a killing on ebay. I wish I had better ideas because I would like to do the same.

Nighty nighty girls.

It was rather liberating doing my own shots, and I didn't even so much as bounce a needle! I feel pretty excited I did it myself. Of course my stomach bloody hurts tonight. LOL I'm such a wuss!!!

Amy- Those onesies are too adorable!!!

Kelly- that is a really good question why they don't check you, definately worth asking your RE why.

I'm so envious of Ms April right now!!! The only thing better then giving myself my own shots, would have been doing them in Hawaii, with the beach just outside the Lanai.

Just thought I'd share a little giggle with you ladies!!!

You might be infertile if:

......you'll do anything to fight the urge to sneeze because you're afraid your ovaries might explode.

...you're having hot flashes before you're 30.

...the word "relax" actually makes you more tense.

...your crotch has seen more action from an RE than your DH.

...you're afraid to go "number two" after an IUI (or embryo transfer) for fear of pushing out the spermies (or the embryos).

...when you go to the obgyn you don't have to use the calendar when they ask you the date of your last period.

... you shave your legs for your RE appts but not for your DH.

... you know the pharmacists by name, and they know you by name. (scary, but true...)

... you can't plan anything in advance because it might be CD3 (or during IVF, any CD.)

... you take more medications than your parents or grandparents.

... the thought of the holidays makes you nauseous for fear of inevitable questions and yet another pg announcement.

... it's "if" this or that works and not "when" it will work.

... you refuse to paint the future nursery for fear of jinxing yourself.

... you cried on Halloween seeing all those adorable costumes on the little ones and their pg mothers.

...your DH has seen ultrasounds of your uterus and ovaries, and knows exactly what he is looking at.

...you know what a "Dildo-cam" is.

...you know what ovary likes to ovulate better than your RE and the nurse that does your u/s every month.

...you have more drugs than a heroine addict.

...you have lengthy discussions about the status of your cervical mucus.

...you are frequently violated with a huge plastic wand -- by your nurse.

... you speak to your RE in T-TTC acronyms.

...your husband doesn't think it's weird when you stand on your head after sex because who knows -- this might just be the ONE time you could get pregnant without the help of a team of specialists.

...KY is banned in your household as it kills sperm.

...you have forgotten what spontaneity is.

...your husband is tired of masturbating in clinics and complains about friction burns from having to do it too often (bad, I know!).

...your husband complains that he's seen all the porn in your RE's office and wonders when they'll get new issue...and this doesn't faze you.

...you actually get excited over shots.

...when someone says what day is it to day and you start to answer CD whatever and have to catch yourself.

...you DH knows more about the your monthly cycle than your primary care Dr.

...everytime you go to the bathroom you check CM.

...you live your life 2 weeks at a time.

...you met your insurance deductible for the year...in your first month of testing with the RE.

...when you'd rather have an internal u/s RATHER than have bloodwork done.

... if you remember special events by what day of your cycle they fell on!

...when you see the letters IF, you think "infertility" and not "if".

...if you have forgotten a CD is also an actual object containing music, or a type of investment, and not just a date.

Hey Devan - Most monitors have buttons on their front panels that let the user stretch the current screen image vertically and horizontally to fill the screen. Every monitor's controls are different, so consult the manual. Use a combination of the horizontal/vertical positioning and sizing controls to bring the edges of your Windows image to the edges of the viewable screen. Hope that helps!

I hate scary bloody movies. DH loves them. They make me unhappy and bring me down. I have enough scary **** in my life and I don't need more. I don't know why guys do it.

hey kelly, i forgot what protocol you are on. I did the one without lupron and they checked on me on day 3 when i started stims. lupron is the suppressor so if you aren't on it, they won't check suppression. hope that helps.

amy, i don;t know what your earning requirements are or what time you'd have available to make crafts and sell them. lots of moms do things like Mary Kay, Discovery Toys, Pampered Chef, Creative Memories, Tastefully Simple, and so on. Otherwise, you can become an expert on saving money, which also helps the families bottom line. Like making your own baby food and lots of other things that can save your family lots of money while you are home caring for lily-pie.

rach - i feel for your mom. i think all of us would cringe if our inlaws moved in for an indefinate period of time. i am glad your grandpa is doing ok.

heidi - i love cherry larabars. yum.

susan, what a week for you! you were miserable with thrush and now you sound happy and well cared for by DH. that was a very thoughtful gift from him.

Last night I fell asleep after taking the muscle relaxant on the couch. When DH came home from softball, he tried to wake me but I was in a funky position and the pain was so hard he helped me up the stairs to bed. I hope this pain isn't endo related. It is only on one side in my mid to upper back on the left side. I slept in our bed alone and was fine if I laid flat all night. I'll have to stay in bed today.

Hi to all the rest of the girls!!!

it is totally fine. i mean, how long do you ice for. women in alaska couldn't have kids if it was that temperature sensitive.

Hi all... Susan, no difference today... a little crampy this morning but otherwise good. My mom and grandma are here nesting for me... it's been wonderful. Do you need a wipe warmer? Because I bought one and then realized I didn't check your registry first...

Kel, a suppression check is really just a blood test... they didn't give you one of those?? If not, they may be confident that your condition is pretty predictable and you should be fine to start stimming just directly after suppression... but yeah, give 'em a call and ask. Also, I have something I want to give to you... when we go out for ice cream.
