Congrats Josee!!! Very exciting. Sucks that she's leaving but what a nice leaving bonus

I promised my brother that I will go to his ER if I still can't breathe without whincing this afternoon. I just have to take Aiden to his checkup at 2pm. I'm hoping the anti-inflamatory will at least give me a day till my appt. tomorrow at the ENT. Otherwise, my brother wants me at his hospital for an EKG so he can check up on my records and make sure all is ok but he already gave me a heads up that showing up at the ER with chest pains is a several hours committment. I'm kinda irritated that I went the the doctor last week and no one wanted to listen to my infection talk.

Susan - Just got your thank you note in the mail. Too cute!! I hope we meet one day too.

Off to veg in front of the tv till I have to drag the little man to shots. Poor guy. 2 more today to keep up with my staggering idea.

My nurse just called me back and said...."even though we do not think it is NECESSARY for you to come in on CD3 for a baseline check...I spoke to Dr. Thornton ...and we will be glad to do it for you"

Totally made me feel like a LUNATIC! Ugh!!!
I asked about the AFC count and she said there are not going to be follies present. etc. Maybe I am the dumb a**. ...

What sucks is day 3 might be friday or saturday -

I AM ABOUT TO LITERALLY PULL MY HAIR OUT AND CRY!!!

i know i have had this complaint before, iand i am sorry. but can you imagine how frustrating and sad it is to be trying to help kids that are going to FAIL and they just don't give a ****. how am i supposed to give a **** if they don't. this particular class that i am teaching right now could care less and i feel like i am wasting my time and energy. they are sooo far behind and they don't WANT to learn. i don't want to give up on them, so i don't. but it frustrates me beyond belief.

Oh Amy..I am sorry you are soo frustrated!! I wish I had an answer.

I just called Boston IVF and got my RE on the phone. She basically said she DOES do baseline ultrasounds for some and in my case didnt order it because I do not have a history of cysts and I am respond to medication. She said (and I think) she would take an E2 level of anything under 100. Did I hear her right?

Anyway, she said she will do it and had no problem...but based on my history felt like I didnt need it.

Now I just have to pray for !!! Going to Accunp today so she can work on AF coming to town QUICK!

Oh Amy, that sounds exhausting. Is this just your summer group or your year round kids? I hope you have one or two kids in the group that care more and keep you strong. I can't imagine how difficult it must get.

Kelly, your nurse is stupid. Of course there are follies there on day 3. Glad you got your appt. I can't wait to hear. I know the details of this cycle have you all nervous but it is all gonna happen. step by step, you'll be making your way through this cycle. You'll be stimming in no time at all. I hope you get your acupuncture appt moved up so you can get zen and summon that inner peace and get ready to receive the gift of life.

And thanks for the nice words, ladies.

Rachael, how are you feeling over there? I don't like this. I am hoping you feel better soon.

this is just the summer group josee. during the year each class just has about 5-10 kids like this and the rest are kids that either "get it" or really want to do well, so it balances things out and the ones that are trying make it really rewarding to do your job. but the summer kids...they are unfortunately a different type of crowd. it breaks my heart but there is only so much i can do, you know?

Kelly- Which office do you go to? That nurse is a dumb a**. You always have reating follicles present. What a moron.
I wish you would drive here to do your cycle. You would be in great hands!
Just keep at them.
Josee- WOW! What a great raise! I am sorry that she is leaving but at least you got something great out of it!!!

Amy- It must be hard to help kids that are failing and you know are going to fail. I too would be feeling helpless.

Shelly- What did you do so far today?

Tia is your u/s on WED? OMG!

Rach- That sounds serious. Can you have DH take Aiden? You need to be seen. Please be better.

April- Mel will be fertile Myrtle..

WHo did I forget?

Off to Newport in an hour. Gotta get the dogs tucked away.

Josee- I totally blanked on you answering your question. No I am not taking anything other then the meds my clinic has prescribed to me. No one outright told me I needed to do it and I dunno, I have just had so many things running through my head I honestly hadn't even thought about it. I'm still preoccupied with a 3Dt vs a 5Dt.

Has anyone opted for the 5dt over the 3dt?

Amy-

Shawna- My clinic does not give you the option of the 3d vs 5d. The embryologist and RE are in charge of that. Embies like to be in mom's cozy, warm uterus as soon as possible though. i did a two day transfer.

I have been told and done some research as well to the fact that if a woman is RPL that a 5dt is more beneficial and cuts down on the miscarriage rate. I am thinking of taking half of them to 5d and leaving the other at 3d. They are our embies so we do have the choice. I was also warned to check with the embryologist as to their experience with it and only procede if they are very knowledgable. I just dunno...I'm still torn...also with 5dt the rate for twins is higher then with 3d...at least that's what I have had an RE and embryologist tell me on another site. I'm just torn I guess....
