This is going to be the longest two months of my life. I've been home now for four days and I'm already about to jump off a bridge... or throw Dan over... a short bridge, mind you... over deep enough water... but still... he's making me crazy. I had it in my head that I wanted to go buy stuff to make a potato salad for tomorrow... you know, be all domestic and actually COOK something... Danny came home and looked at my shopping list and said we should just buy one of those pre-made salads...
Like I'll never be able to make one as good... I know full well he didn't mean it like that but I can't help but feel really sad that he didn't want me making one... he even started an argument over it... and swore... I just wanted to do some nesting... show him I'm not a useless lump... *Probably overly hormonal tear*

Shelly I’m sure Danny didn’t mean it that way. I think he just thought buying the pre-made one would be easier and cheaper (that is the thinking my DH always has). Be sure to explain to him you just wanted to be more “stay at home like” and thought it would be a treat to have homemade salad. He’ll understand, I’m sure of it.
Shawna best of luck today, can’t wait to hear all about those follie’s. So I think our 4th of July is going to be poopie. Today is rainy and thunder storming outside, I doubt the weather does a 180 by tomorrow. Which is great for me. I have no plans other than maybe going to a BBQ and then plopping myself on the couch with some movies. I figured for a 3-day break I could see a lot of chic flicks – LOL. I think tonight I’m going with a girlfriend and her niece & nephew to see Wall-E. I hope it is good, I’ve got mixed reviews about it. But oh well, it is something to do to get out of the house. My legs are still huge. I called the OB yesterday and they said I should be good but they will check me out on the 8th when I’ve got my appointment. So I’m waddling through, literally. Kelly- I'm doing my follie dance for you Sweetie! I want you to have that many too!!!!!!
Lately I've been thinking how much I'd like to be an egg donor to someone who really deserves to have babies, but then it comes crashing down that I have PCOS and I doubt they'd let me. Which totally sucks! I could so see myself going through all this for someone as deserving.... Did I tell you ladies, someone in my family sent me a message. they have two kids and opted for a tubaligation. Well they decided they wanted more and had the reversal and have been TTC for nine months. She messaged me and said she knows exactly how I feel not being able to concieve. I was rather hurt by that. I'm sorry, she has no idea. Two living children...three dead babies. Two easy pregnancies....three pregnancy losses. A little clomid....lots of clomid, one IUI that happened to result in an ectopic that almost killed me and now IVF. (Which I am so thankful to be doing!) anyways, it made me so sad. I don't know exactly what anyone else is going through, as no one knows exactly what I am going through but it just broke my heart for her to compare her "Struggles" with mine. They;re not even close and not that I am comparing but it hurt for her to think that her beautiful two kids could even equal the amount of sadness we have been through. I guess it does sound like I am comparing...I'm relaly trying not to but it so hurt for her to have gone there. I gave her all the support I would have liked back then and kept my pain to myself for a change.

Shawna - she should not be comparing her struggles to you or to anybody. Don't let that bring you down!

Back from the Cape. It was nice, but two hours at the beach is our max being that we're not very outdoorsy. Now we're all stinky and sandy because it was really windy.
Jen, crap, I didn't know your charms were fertility charms? I would have glued it on if I'd know that? I've been wearing it when I need a sense of friendship and courage. It's all good! .... Funny because I knew you'd get pregnant when I sent you the little palm tree painting I did being that it represents abundance and fertility. Kelly, glad AF decided to show. Yay, time to the ball rolling. Not long now. Make sure you wear that charm of Jens. Shawna, congrats on the great follie count! nice! Shelly, it may be the fastest two months of your life. I was lucky to stay home for two years (that's why we have are in debt now but I don't regret it) and it went so fast. You're going to be having a great time and with your family living close you'll have lots of company and people wanting to share hugs with little Danny. Well, I should go for a walk because it's so nice. The other day I ran on the treadmill in my underwear and there happens to be a full length mirror next to it. Holy moly, what an eye opener. Still, it kept me amused.

Oh and Shelly, I'm sure your potato salad would have been delicious.
Shawna, that family member shouldn't be comparing her struggles - they are clearly worlds apart from yours. Maybe she was trying to bond in some way?
