Sorry I've been such a lurker over here! Yucky antibiotic What is it about this antibiotic that makes me more nauseous than pregnancy?? I ate chicken soup and saltines for lunch and almost had to run to the bathroom in Target to puke. Can't wait for this to be over and healed! 8 more days of antibiotics. Oh, and I had a long talk with dh last night and told him that I have to sleep in until I feel better. If it takes 3 days great or if it takes a week. I've got to get more sleep to get healed and I'm always too busy taking care of everyone else. I *think* he understood.

Sounds like lots of barbeques and pool parties around here tomorrow! We've got a tradition of getting a hotel room next to the fireworks. 4th year in a row now. We bring a whole spread, invite friends, and just camp out in front of the windows and you can see all the different firework displays around the city including the ones at the mall next door. Poor Aiden will be kept up way past his bedtime but hopefully the fireworks will keep him entertained

Marissa - Very glad to hear dh's mass isn't cancer and everything is going to be ok over there!

Tia - Hi!! Can't wait to see Winne the Pooh again. Did you order the Serena book yet or should we do it for you? Just teasing.

Kelly - Yay for the AF dance working! I love Pho. Used to eat it all the time in Philly. Yummy. I dragged my follistem pen everywhere so don't stress if you have too. You'll have to drag the PIO around for weeks soon since you'll be preggo I love the game plan of drinking the bottle tonight! How's it going over there?

Susan - How did the NST go today? Maybe you have to let dh get a little more sleep next time before starting a real discussion... otherwise it's the same as talking to someone sleepwalking Unless he's push present shopping and gets clicker happy in his sleepless state!

Heidi- You are too cute! Running in your undies next to mirror?? I think that would be my worst nightmare! I'm glad you had fun at the Cape. You will be a wonderful mom no matter how or when and you are doing all the right things to get to the next steps.

Josee - We've got to get your back better already. Geez. You and I need to be couch buddies these days. And, what an encouraging doctor! Lovely. When you're done with the wedding album can you do Aiden's baby book? Still haven't cracked it open. Aiden's biggest adventure of the day was a walk around the neighborhood. DH was off so I took advantage to get out on my own.

Amy - I haven't even been on FB yet but I can guess that it has to do with a certain #2. Crazy gal. Hope your OB appt goes well!

Jen - Geez! I never knew Zofran was so crazy expensive. I hope they get it worked out soon. Get dh dressed well for his interview so you can be that team soon!

Shawna - 15 follies at this stage is awesome!! You are doing great over there!!

Shelly - Awww... we all love your potato salad. You will be a great mom. You've had a chance to practice all this time and you're with kids everyday!

Devan - Have fun with all the girly movies! My dream weekend.

Alana - I'm glad you had such a great time in NYC. It is a wonderful city and even better to visit. Too expensive to live in but so much fun! You did a lot so rest up over there.

Phew. Hope I didn't miss anyone. I have a funny Aiden story. He has this music bear for his naps/bedtime. Well, I hang it in the corner of his crib and I start him in the opposite end of the crib. The past few nights now that he is crawling/scooting he has been immediately moving himself so he is right under the bear. It's too cute to watch on the monitor. It must be so loud down there right under the thing!

The Serena book is this bedding company that Tia loves and we did for Aiden's crib. She was too superstitous before the DE to order

Misunderstanding there. No ER on saturday, if they're big enough then we'd do the trigger Saturday and ER would be the 7th. I am carrying around the hcg in my purse! How annoying! (not mixed!) i'm not convinced the fridge is fixed. But it is cold....at least the puregon does not "Require" refrigeration, they just want us to refrigerate it.

The cats have barely eaten since we got here. They've got to be so hot! Who has ever heard of a freakin appartment not having a/c???? Blech!

Hi to everyone this evening. I am so beat, been up since 6 this morn an drunning on less then six hours of sleep...I had personals ready but my brain is sleeping before th rest of me is!

Tia- and rach- i am in lurk mode b/c of the nightmare of a day I had at the OB with the NST.
Has anyone ever hear of/had to go for biophysical testing for the baby? I don;t even know what it is but the stupid medical assistant was acting like she was the doctor, making me nervous and kept buzzing my baby until I finally grabbed her hand and told her to stop.
She looked at me like I had three heads and I got up, walked to the desk, booked another NST for next week and demanding I have an appointment with my OB at the same time so HE can do it and not some stupid medical assistant. People who have less than 6 months of "training" should not be performing NSTs.
And to make matters worse they had me sit in the waiting room for 45 mins before i was called.
I am so stressed, I just want Phoebe to be ok, and buzzing her constantly to startle her makes me nervous and very protective.
Oh and the stupid medical assistant said, "your chart says her baseline HR is 140 but I don't beleive that sp I am going to buzz her"...Um, who is she to even consider questioning the doctor's notes?
I F'n hate dumb people today... Sorry to vent and be a downer.

Susan - What a nightmare! Yuck. I'm guess by biophysical she actually meant an u/s by the perinatology dept? I think that's what they officially called my weekly high tech u/s to measure the growth. They would measure the head circumference, the stomach, and the femur on the baby and compare it to averages at that stage and weight. I agree the buzzer is a little freaky. Have you seen Pheobe practicing her breathing on the u/s lately? I think she'll start that soon and it's very cool to see. I agree. Someone other than the tech should step in during the NST if the baby isn't moving enough. The times that happened with Aiden they would go get my OB or the Perinatologist and I know my Peri admitted me once b/c he couldn't get Aiden moving and wanted me monitored for longer. Feel better.

Off to bed for me!! Happy fireworks everyone!!

I would have told her that I was going to shove the buzzer up her azz if she didn't go get someone who knew their azz from their head! Sorry you had to go through that. You are right to demand a Dr. for your next visit.
