Hi LOVES of my life ... How goes it? I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. Mine is very boring. The weather is over cast and chilly so I'm just cleaning up inside and then I think I may head to the mall to pick up my maternity pics (I'm really excited and can't wait to share them with you all). Last night I went and seen Wall-E, LOVED IT. By far the best kids movie out right now, I recommend it to everyone. It seems there is lots going on around here. I talked to DH and asked him how he felt about me going and buying things geared for a baby and things geared for a girl. I'm in a funk with the yellow and green, I will have to post a picture of my closet. I'm not complaining, I love it I'm just ready to get something more specific and since we don't know we will just have to both some of both because the baby will be one or the other, right . He said to do whatever made me happy but to remember to keep the reciepts. So sometime during this weekend I'm going to go shopping and I think I'm going to start putting my "temporary" nursery together. I'm bored and ready for baby.

Shawna your ER will be here before you know it. That is amazing, you'll be prego before you know it. I know what you mean about no a/c. All the houses here in WA are without a/c. It stinks cause the summer is HOT.

Amy I can't wait to hear all about the pool abd the wine. We want to see pictures.

Tia and Jen I hope you gals are feeling well. Oh and Jen, I wasn't able to poop for a long time. Nothing seemed to work until I started taking colace every other day. Now I'm a few times a day. Best of luck, it hurts I know.

Alana NYC is the bestest city in the US (IMO). I love it. I 've been many times and everytime the visit is NEVER the same. DH is from close to there, about 45 mins on the train. Needless to say when we go home NYC is a must. Can't wait to see pics.

Kelly happy stimming. You and Shawna are both going to be showing us your bumps soon.

I hope everyone has a great 4th of July. I'm off to do some running and my girlfriend just called about going swimming in the heated pool. So I'll indulge I guess. The house is always there to be cleaned, right? LOL
I'll be on again later. I hope everyone is well. Hugs!

Susan and Heidi, I definitely want you to come this way! It would be wonderful to have your company on Monday! I can drive to Marlboro by myself (as it's actually on the way to the hospital should the alfredo sauce spark Baby Daniel's need to see the world) and I wanna see you guys!

Hi April I see you down there. How are you and Mel today? I can't wait until your cycle gets closer, I'm pumped up about it too! Any cool trips lined up anytime soon? I love living through your stories. One day DH and I will travel the globe.

Quiet around here, guess everyone is out and about. I'm trying to figure out how to scan my pics and make them small .. hmmm ...

Tia I will have to jump in with Josee on the recipe request that sounds great.

Oh and I was just going through my IVF goodies and I've got tons of needles (various sizes) and alcohol wipes if anyone needs more, just lemme know and there yours.

devan, you can email me pics and resize them for you if you want. let me know.

We had a ton of fun at the party today. Now we are gonna wait to see the fireworks by our town that will be right down the street from us.

Those margaritas rocked my world today. Delicious. Loved them.

Heidi- Is there access to 495N from your house? If so it should only take us about 25-30 minutes tops from there.

Hi Susan. Instead of watching fireworks I am watching the Marlins/Rockies game on TV. My wonderful mom chose to spoil our day so neither of us felt like going out tonight.

well, she was supposed to come over today and we were going to BBQ then go see fireworks somewhere. Depending on her mood/how she felt, we were going to try and go up to the mountains. Anyway, we were driving close to where she was and I called and told her we could swing by to pick her up, but she wasn't ready. So I told her to get ready then just come over. We took a nap, then she called and said she just didn't feel good (totally full of crap). She has been pissy because I didn't call her for 2 days (not that she called me)- I get home, I check in with my girls, then I crash!
She just pisses both of us off. She pulls this crap on us all the time. For the past 2 weeks she kept asking us what we were going to do for the 4th and we kept telling her the BBQ and fireworks, including her in the plans. And each time she did her mock surprise, 'oh, don't you want to go out by yourselves?'.
I don't know. It is hard to explain, but this is the most selfish woman in the world. It is times like this when I really wish I wasn't an only child because all of this burden ends up solely on me.

well after him playing 2 hours of computer chess (and not setting up my other computer so I could complain to you girls) he did come down and rubbed my head. I was having some breathing issues (my mom gets me all worked up). We watched NCIS together.

She really is draining on both of us. When I called her this morning she was b*tching about how unfriendly her neighbors are and how lonely she was. It makes me feel horrible. We had plans with her today. Then she decides not to come over. What she likes is for us to beg and plead for her to do something with us. And forget her driving over to us. We have to go pick her up and bring her back. She has been in her new place for a bit now and has never once offered to make us a meal at her place (although we have had her over several times).

I know that some people would think I am selfish and that I should be grateful that my mom is still around (she had stage 3b cancer 6 years ago). And I am. But she really is the most miserable person in the world. She has alienated most of her friends and family. She complains about everything, all the time, and people just get sick of it. You know what a 1 upper is? Well, she will 1 up you on anything. You have a headache? Well hers is 10x worse. Nothing in her life is her fault or doing. And everyone has to take care of her. I could be a SAHM if I didn't have to support my own SAHM! I am serious. And after our fight to end all fights last month, there is no way DH and I will ever leave her alone with our child, so there goes that child care help. We have sacrificed so much to bring her up here, and not once has she thanked us. Worse, it seems like she resents us. Oh, when she was in FL she would call crying all the time begging us to get her the hell out of there. She hated her neighbors. She hated the heat. She hated everything. And everything was going to be better living near me. But nothing is now.

I can't share my happiness with her because it makes her pissed off and miserable. It just totally sucks. I can't tell her about my friends. I can't tell her about outings that DH and I plan.

Sorry to dump this.

no wine for me...no pool party either. stormed all afternoon, but cleared up in time for a great night. i opted out of the wine after becoming disgusted at the "other pregnant girl" at the party who drank an entire bottle of champagne. are you kidding me? my neck and back are so awful. i am in such pain. i took tylenol twice and have used a heating pad on and off all day, but nothing helps. i don't know what i did, but it sucks.

i did get a really cute pic of dh and i tonight. i will post it tomorrow. it's really late and past my bed time, so i will be back in the morning for personals.
