Amy, you look drop dead gorgeous. You wear your pregnancy like it was a style choice. WOW!

Jen, I can't imagine how hard it must be to deal with. I don't know what she was like before her battle with cancer but it does seem like some people come out of something so horrible as life-threatening disease as grateful for life and full of appreciation as if they were reborn through the process, stronger for surviving. And other people come out as if they permanently absorbed the darkness and are broken inside, permanently winded and assaulted. I have two friends with moms that were permanently and negatively affected by illness - one laid in bed depressed all the time and the other became mean, domineering, and guilted people. I am sad for you, Jen.
Your mom sounds like the kind of person that boundaries and limits were made for. I hope you set some clear boundaries now before the baby comes. I hope you can teach her what you will tolerate and what you won't because you will have a baby in your house that needs your attention and if she gets jealous and plays the 'How much do you love me' game now... Walt is so amazing and I am so glad you have him to support you.

Amy - you look incredible!!! You and Chris are such a rock star couple. I love it. Tell me more about this other pregnant lady....did she really drink a BOTTLE? IS SHE INSANE???

Jen - I am really sorry about what happened with your mother. I wished we lived closer so I can give you a big hug. My mother never survived an illness but she is EXACTLY like your mother - but still in Florida. So selfish! I wish I had some advice for you. I just dont want you to have stress in your life right now. So I would def. follow what Josee said and set some rules for her. She needs them.

Shelly - who took the pictures! They are gorgeous!!! You look gorgeous!!!

SHOTS START TONIGHT!!! SO EXCITED!!!!

jen, i agree with josee. it may help if you set the boundaries NOW before the baby comes. if you don't, the problem might just escalate when a baby is thrown into the mix. i am sorry that you are having to deal with this on your own. i can understand how it would be difficult as an only child to deal with problems w/ the parents. i too am glad you have walt!

yep kelly, the whole bottle. 1st she lied about it. it went like this:

me: that looks yum! what are you drinking?
her: oh, it's my new favorite, orange juice and pomegranite juice.
me: oh my gosh, that sounds so good. can i try a sip?
her: oh...sure. there's a little splash of champagne in there too.
me: (i tried it and it was awesome!!) and said thanks.

then later i watched her make one and there was no splash of champagne. no one else was drinking them (small party and everyone else was drinking beer or margaritas) and later i saw an empty bottle of her champagne. irked me right out of enjoying my small cocktail that i had been thinking of all day. oh well.

amy and shelly ... beautiful belly pics

jen ... i am so sorry sweetie ... i know i have said this before ... but our mom's need to hang out ... sometimes i think my mom is annoyed that she fought and survived her cancer ... it's weird ... my advise to you is to just keep playing her game yet she needs to know how you feel about what she pulls on you and walt ... honesty is cruel and brutal, but she needs to know what she is doing ... my sister's family and my mom are coming for the night on sun. and my mom told her that i don't want any sleepovers cause then i have to do the sheets ... wtf ... i never said that ... that is her way of saying that she just wants to make a day trip and doesn't want to sleep over
try to keep your spirits up honey

Hi ladies!!!!!

Amy- your pics are so hot!!!!

Shelly- Who did your pics? They are gorgeous!!!

Jen- Sorry about your mom that is a bummer that she is so unsupportive.

Was playing cards with Dh and bil, sil last night and of course it was really late and I may have made a minor scene. I know it is no excuse but I have been working a lot lately and once I hit my tired point there is no going back and I am just a mean, grumpy, ungrateful person. Anyway dh kept making little comments (that he will never admit to) at me and after a while I blew up and said I dont know why I gave you sex this morning if your going to be mean to me, never again will I make that mistake. Which is the most ridiculous comment because of course I want a baby, ugh. Well then we left and they acted like it was no big deal but I always feel that I look like a mean, unsupportive, hateful wife when I am with my in laws. I know this was mostly my fault but I feel like Dh does not cherish me. I feel like he always makes me look bad infront of his family. Well it is a long story but I always end up looking like an a**!

Amy- He always questions what I am about to do, whether it was with the card game, having another drink (not even alcohol), a snack. I felt like he was on top of my every move and had some minor, negative thing to say to me all night. Its horrible because Dh is very passive agressive so to everyone else it seems like nothing but we really know how to push each others buttons and he was pushing mine last night.

Amy and Shelly-you both look amazing. You are 2 gorgeous preggo women.

Kelly-yay you are starting stims! You will have your bfp in no time now!!!

Thanks for the words about my mom. Unfortunately, she was just as miserable before the cancer. And she really loved all the attention that being sick brought her. She seems to feel it is her duty to constantly remind you about all of her illnesses and how they still affect her, like we wouldn't know. It is hard to be around someone who is so negative about everything.

But today is a new day. I am going to the baseball game tonight and there is a ballpark hotdog in my future! Dh ate the last of the powdered sugar donuts and said he'd go get some more. I need me some powdered sugar donuts! And he just plopped down in front of the Tour de France. Dam n him!!!
