jen, i am coming over w/ powdered sugar donuts. we can share...i'll get lots.

what is it with you ladies sparking all these cravings in me?? maybe i'll go eat some pancakes w/ powdered sugar sprinkled on top? oh wow...just typing that excited me!

OH! last night we played poker (i won AGAIN!) anyway...at one point dh looked at me and his eyes got big and he nodded and gave me a look. i couldn't figure it out, but finally i did. i looked down and my freakin nipple had leaked on my dress!! talk about embarrassing. so what did i do...pretend that i spilled my water on myself and then changed shortly after. i think it is time to invest in breast pads!

mia...i think in the future it would help you out if instead of having an emotional outburst if you just tell your dh that you are ready to leave. in my experience it is never fun or good to fight in front of the in-laws. you don't want them in your business, and even though in some situations it's hard...i try and avoid fighting in front of mine at all costs. sorry you had a bad night.

Marissa-you need to talk to DH about his behaviour in front of his family. I can't remember, are you 2 in counseling? Learning to communicate is so important in a relationship, especially when you are trying to bring home a baby. I am sure the stress of TTC is not helping in that manner. And I know that a lot of us will say things to trigger the other person, but it is something that needs to be worked on. I hope you guys can work this out.

Amy, you look adorable! I can't believe that other girl tied one on during pregnancy. I would like to use other names, but what a crazy idiot.

Shelly, the pictures are just beautiful.

Susan, we do have access to I-495, but was thinking is Wrentham much of a detour for you? I need to do some returns anyway (all those Gap pants) and it's off I-495 isn't it? If it's a bad plan let me know. I want this to be as easy as possible for you. Finding our place has been a problem for friends and family before. ........Now it just sounds like I don't want you to see my hovel.

Jen, ugh, sorry about your mum. If it makes you feel any better, my mother still gets under my skin and she lives on the side of the world. If my mother doesn't get her way, things can get very tense. I know this isn't really relevant, but I just felt like telling the story anyhow: One time, when we went to visit her in NZ, DH offered to cook a meal for the family and she said yes and then as we got to the supermarket to buy ingredients, she starting shopping for ingredients for something she wanted to cook because she had changed her mind and decided she wanted to cook instead but wasn't going to tell us. It's hard to explain, but it made for a every awkward situation as we were both buying stuff at the checkout. I was sooo embarrased because it was DH's first visit "home" and I couldn't explain her behavior because she's been doing stuff like that my whole life. At least he could see what I was talking about all those years. My mother can make things very awkward like inviting a festive crowd over and then disappearing for the whole night into her bedroom. I know all about social anxiety, but come on, you did the inviting. She is super-sensitive and can get really jealous, but would never admit it. Okay, I could go on for hours, but I will spare you. Just know, I can relate about kooky mothers, but I'm sorry yours is giving you this much anxiety especially when you have enough on your plate with a new job and baby-on-board.

Mia, sorry about the outburst situation. I don't really have any advice because once your button has been pushed I know it can be hard to keep yourself calm. My DH usually knows when he's said something he shouldn't have in front of IL's or other company and all I need to do is give him a look. Some might call it the stink-eye.

Amy, some silly beach pictures:

I'll be back with a longer message later but the little man is waking up and I just got home from the ER. What a morning! Had really bad chest pains again last night and nothing was helping. Luckily, my brother met me about 2 hours into my ER visit and helped to speed it up. So, chest x-ray, iv, echo, ekg, and lots of other tests to find out the fluid in the sac surronding my lung is inflamed and 3 weeks of ibuprofen should do the trick.

Just want to say our pregnant gals look gorgeous! I'll be back tonight to catch up. Hang in there Jen drama queens are no fun to be around.

Ohhh Rachael, that is horrible. That sounds so horrific and painful. Was DH around to take care of Aiden? I am glad they could tell you that ibuprofen will do the trick but how soon will you get relief from the pain?
