Kelly, I'm only sweet to you because I love you so... I'm not usually very sweet to people. Tee hee...

Susan, can I come over for sirloin tips, mashed taters, and asparagus??? *sigh* Those all sound so yummy!

So I'm just a sittin' here... 'bout to stare at my portfolio for a few hours... figure it's better to do it now rather than think I will have any further give-a-d@mn once Daniel's here... *sigh* If he ever gets here...

*Haha... as soon as I wrote that I had a contraction... he's such a tease.*

Just want to say hi to everyone. DH and I are headed over to a friend's of dh's house tonight. We'll be the only "traditional" couple there according to GA laws in our backwards state!

I'll be back later. Mom is babysitting tonight for the first time in two months. We'll see... we usually have a hired sitter but Mom swears she is up to the task!

What sort of questions? We use the glass Evenflo bottles. We started with the 4 ounce ones and switched to the 8 ounce bottles around 4/5 months. Does that help? I wanted to use glass so I didn't really research any of the other companies that much.

we are using the evenflo ones too, I love them. And they are inexpensive. I thought they would be heavy but they are very light and we have dropped a couple and none have broken yet. Of course it was not on tile or anything

Kelly, I hope you have a great time at the Cape. You already have a beautiful tan you lucky thing.

Shelly, I was thinking of you as I was wading around a pool yesterday. I never went swimming when I was preggers and can only imagine how good it feels. Note to self: when I get knocked up, go swimming because it feels good.

Shawna, wow, ER tomorrow already? Neato!

Okay, so I didn’t have any luck reaching the first RE today and got a call back from a *****y young nurse. I told her that I couldn’t talk right now (I could when I left the message) and when I said can I go to a conference room and call you right back she said “well you can try”. I essentially hung up on her. So rude. So tomorrow the plan is to take cell phone and be ready to get a call back.
So sorry if I’m repeating myself, but I was basically up all night worrying about this all. I barely slept which made me a very emotional zombie today. Tonight I'll do the ambien thing. But as I was up all night I was basically remembering a conversation I had with the first RE word for word when we were in between trial studies and I told him that I DID in fact have insurance for IUI’s so why don’t do some in case I wasn‘t a candidate for the second trial study afterall. He advised me not to due to increased risk of ectopic. Then I mentioned that I would be looking to get better insurance and I brought up the fact that insurance companies sometimes have that three IUI clause, but he dismissed that thought. So, If I have to turn around right now and do the three IUI’s I will be pissed because I wouldn’t have needed to take additional insurance which is costing me an arm and a leg. I could have worried about that later and now I am petrified of having an ectopic. I know how serious they are having heard all your stories and I cannot believe they would put someones life at risk for this crap.
Okay, promise I won’t talk about it anymore.

i am here, but so "not here". i am all drugged up and out of it. i finally passed my stones last night. all of my nurses said that if i could do kidney stones, labor would be even easier. i was in so much pain i threw up about 5 times in 2 days. i was also doing all sorts of "lamaze" type breathing...kind of funny to look back on, but not at the moment. dh was great, but i think it hurt him to see me in such pain.

i kinda caught up but really am too tired for personals. i will be back tomorrow for personals.

thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. i'm just so happy that it didn't have anything to do w/ lily and that we are finally home.

love you devan...thanks for the texts and for keeping everyone updated.

Thanks Rach and Martie- My internet went down so I went to cook and eat.
SO I bought a few Dr. Brown's glass bottles and a few Evenflow. I already broke one of them.

Shelly the glass or BPA free plastic vs the reg plastic is because of the leeching of the toxins in the plastics when you sterilize, wash, microwave etc...
These are studies that they say are inconclusive but the break down of some plasrics has been associated with certain kinds of cancer and even infertility.
SOOOO, just to be on the safe side- glass or BPA free plastic.

Martie- I need a breast feeding lesson. Once I pump and store or freeze the breast milk do I use the inserts for the bottle or just pour directly in the bottle?? Rach you can help me too right?

How's Kris been?

Has anyone heard from Amy yet?

Heidi- I don't know if you saw my post before about the insurance. But we switched insurance plans in the middle of cycles and we never had to go back to doing IUIs again. The RE made sure he documented it so that it was clear there was a need for IVF.
If you have a good RE there should be no problem.

Heidi, honey, here is where you are SUPPOSED to talk about this stuff, sweetie!!! Don't ever feel like you are talking about it too much. That said, you get back on that phone, tell the ***** who answers that you would like to speak to someone who gives a d@mn whether or not you live, and keep looking for an RE who will fight WITH you, rather than just let you fall through the cracks of this messed up system. Heidi, I don't know what it will do or what kinds of hoops you might need to jump through... but I SO want you to see my RE, Dr. Brian Clarke, at UMASS in Worcester. He's the guy that called me while at his vacation home, just to make sure I was okay... and I want him to take care of you... I know he takes BCBS and I know he will be thorough... do you think you would look into it? I mean, I know it would be a bit of a hike for you... but I'm serious... this man would ALWAYS fight for you... it would be worth looking into.

Susan did you see amys post?

Ok on the breast feeding, I pump directly into the bottle because I have an evenflo pump (which works well and is so inexpensive, not as great as the medela but ok) I do not think you can put the bag in the bottle so it would need to be poured in, I believe but I do not use those bags I have some ice cube tray looking things I got from BRU (for my shower) that is suppose to be 1 oz cubes but I don't think they are. Anyway I hardly have time to pump and freeze so Hannah mostly eats off the boob unless we are going out or are out where I can pump and than give her the bottle. Hope this makes since.
