TGIF! Thanks goodness, I'm beat. I just had the BEST bowl of Rocky Road ice cream ... yum, I promise I could eat the bowl container. Who am I kidding, it is so darn hot by the end of the weekend it will be gone .

Hi Jen, I see you down there. Glad you could join us today? LOL teasing you, I know your new J-O-B is strict or something like that.

Rachael again I'm sorry to hear about Cooper. Yikes, I think I started a trend back in Dec when Tommy was sick. I'm sorry. I hope Cooper isn't in any pain and you are able to love on him soon.

Oh Rach-I am so sorry about Cooper. I hope they can remove it all by surgery.

Shelly-I am putting a dollar on tomorrow too! I rushed home and had to scan through the thread to make sure I didn't miss anything!

Susan-yikes, tell Phoebe to stop giving you these scares! So you are really on bed rest for the rest of your pregnancy? Why is your bp so high? I am curious, since I normally have low bp (on Wed they measured it at 108/62) will this help me later on, or do I still run the same risk of getting high bp as anyone else?

Josee-I think that address is in the Cherry Creek area, which is good. I will have DH check it out when he gets home. When I saw Colorado Blvd, I got nervous (south of Cherry Creek isn't great), but south, which is where I think that addy is, is nice.
Congrats on getting stuff going with CCRM! I can't wait to see you again

Kris-good to hear from you. Glad you had a good get away. We need a new pic of Simon.

Tia-I get to meet you soon!!!

Shawna-(and Shawna's DH)-yay for 17 eggs! You are a superstar! And doing it awake!!! You brave girl you! Rest up hun. I am so excited to hear about your fertilization report. Do they tell you tomorrow?

Kelly-have a great time at the Cape. I hope you get plenty of R&R.

Amy-hope you are feeling better today.

So, I heard from the girl that works under me that our company gives 3 months PAID maternity leave! I told her that it probably wouldn't apply to me since I won't have been there for a year yet, but she said that the last pg girl (been awhile since they had any preggos in the lab) was more pg than me when she started and got the 3 months! Holy crap! If this is the case, I love this job!!! Now I need to figure out who to ask to confirm this...

I couldn't get on to the forum this AM and it made me sad to have to go to work w/o saying hi.

Its not that it is strict, it is that right now I am crammed into the last desk available and it isn't even a cube. Everyone can see what I am doing online! We move to a new bldg in September and I will have better digs that better be more private. I do think I can get onto FB since i saw someone else do it...

I know what you mean. When I go to my new job in GA, I'll be scared to attempt the site at first. I'll have to get a feel for the place and the people. That is great if you get 12 wks maternity leave PAID. Can I work there too?! Any big plans for the night?

Devan-sure come work with me! It would be great! No plans for the night. Hopefully DH will come home and make me dinner, as he has failed in that duty last night and I had to make pasta at 8:30pm just to make sure I got in some nutrition... I hate cooking... But he said he would come home and make pork chops and mac and cheese... and now I am not hungry! poor Dh...dealing with difficult me.

My nails are really growing. As is my belly. When I wear my maternity shirts, I look so big! When I wear my regular tshirts (getting too small) I look so fat. Oh well...

I am going to see Prince Caspian tomorrow (it is only showing during the day). I wanted to see this movie so bad. Yay for movie popcorn! DH did look to see if there was something else playing so we could go tonight, but alas, nothing that we are interested in.

i am so bored. yeah very romantic over here. dh brought home some dinner for me, rubbed my feet because I begged him too, closed his eyes half way through it and then went downstairs and was quiet for a bit. i just peeked and he is out like e light on the couch in the dark.
so much for him helping me.
dishes in the sink, doors wide open downstairs and dogs running around in the back yard. i guess tomorrow is another day.
jen- youg women, espeically in their first pregnancie all run the risk of getting pre-eclampsia. That is what i have and that is what makes my BP so high.
So yes, you can get it. It also did not help that my baseline BP was high but the first two and half trimesters gave me low to normal BP. Toward the end is when it is more common to see it start creeping up. On top of that I am gaining fluid like crazy, my feet are starting to look like Rach's (sorry Rach) when she was preg with Aiden.

So now I am on bedrest til the end, but with pre-eclampsia and the fluid and the BP he said if ay of the symptoms worsen they won;t let me go past 37 weeks. So Phoebe could be here in another week and a half or so. I just hope she is ready and big enough...

I do not think that DH is ready. This is so not real for him...
I don't like him very much right now...
I know he is tired too but I still need help. But like I said, tomorrow is another day right?
besides I just ate three Reeses PB cups.

Susan it sounds like I"m right behind you with the preeclampsia. I've had elevated BP for the past few months and just this week I had 2 really high reads, I gained almost 8 pounds in less than 2 wks and my legs and feet are gi-normous. I'll have urine protein results on Thusday at my next appt. Again, we are checking how much weight in one week and to see if my BP is elevated. Could be interesting to say the least. Oh and I'm sorry DH is a poo head sometimes. Aren't they all?

Okay ladies. I'm off to try and get all dolled up to feel cute or dinner witht he gals. I'll be back later tonight (to talk to myself) or I'll chat tomorrow. Hope everyone has a good night. Hugs!

Susan-you should be in bed if you are on bed rest! Your DH should be waiting on you. Your health, and the baby's, is very important.

Rach, I’m so sorry about Cooper. I hope they can help him.

Shawna, so glad everything went great with your ER. You were AWAKE? Wow, you are brave!

Josee, that’s so soon! So great! I didn’t realize how soon you were cycling. Yipee!
So to answer your question, I didn’t have to reach 1st RE today (and didn’t anyhow) but once I get something in my head I become obsessed with it. I need reassurance quick fast. The plan is to do next month as a re-testing month, hysteroscopy, bloodwork which are requirements of insurance co., and then if I get approved for IVF, hopefully within that timeframe, then that will happen the following cycle. I start the pill next AF. yuck.

Kris, the mountain escape sounds wonderful. I really should be there you know, Heidi in the mountains.

Susan, you poor thing. I am happy you were able to come back home and they didn’t admit you. Can you recruit some family to help out?
Thanks for the sweet card. DH told me that “I got a little card from somebody today”.

Shelly, maybe tonight?

I'm calming down a bit. There is really nothing I can do till I find out more about what type of cancer he has and how spread it is. He has one large bump which is the one they biopsied today and I've found 3 smaller lumps. Not a good sign. I think with my older dog Amber we had a body scan and bloodwork done before we made a decision not to do the chemo. If the vet thinks a simple procedure will give Cooper more time, then I'll do it. But, I just don't want him to suffer through a long recovery just to be selfish and keep him here for us. I just am still in shock. I can't believe it. I really thought his lethargy lately was just a reflection of how I feel since we keep the same hours! Once I have more of the story, I will call Jo and get a recommendation from her too. Thanks for all the well wishes. I lost Amber during my IVF but I always knew she was keeping an eye on me and Cooper would be here for Aiden. It's just too sad. Cooper is literally Aiden's favorite thing in the whole world. He loves to sit next to Cooper and he'll just pet him over and over and laugh.

Susan - You do have to stay well behaved for the next 10 days till you get to that safe 37 week marker. Can your mom stay for a few days to help? The way the doctors explained it to me was every day the baby spends in your body incubating is 3 less days the baby will spend in the NICU. That was scary enough to send my butt to the couch to internet shop

Josee - Is it setting in yet? You are finally about to be on your way with this long journey

Jen - We just miss ya is all but totally understand about staying low profile at the new place. Unfortunately, low bp doesn't exempt you from preclampsia. My bp before Aiden (and again now) is typically 98/60 sometimes even lower.

Devan - You take it easy too! Better go ahead and set up that nursery this weekend just to be safe. No toys from tonight's adventure in the nursery Thanks for my sweet text tonight.

Off to give Cooper some more hugs over here and then wash the rounds of bottles...
