SHawna, I had to pop in and say congrats on your fetie report!! You will be PUPO soon!!

Tia, I flew around that time and was fine.

Shelly, I so remember that waiting and watching every possible sign! He will be here soon! My prayers are with you for a happy safe delivery

Hi JenThat is so great if you are getting 3 months PAID leave! Are you feeling better these days?

Susan, I am sorry you are on bedrest That stinks. But you will find things to do I am sure. Whenever you get frustrated sing to Phoebe, and you will both feel better. And I bet whatever you sing now will soothe her later.

Hi Rachael, I am sorry about cooper

Hi Amy, I am glad you passed your GD test!

Hi Josee!, Hi Kelly!, Hi April!, Hi Kris!, Hi Devan!, Hi Heidi!, Hi Martie!, Hi Marissa

Hi AlanaGreat u/s shots!

Well things are going well considering. I am not getting enough rest for sure between the sleepless nights and days entertaining guests, but I am surviving! I am still battling the mastitis, but I think I might finally have it licked! Mia slept almost 6 hours last night, so I just may catch up on rest soon Today is her baptism, so I have to go get us dolled up. This morning was my first quiet morning all week. I told my family I needed a break. It is hard to avoid them when I have not seen my brother in 1.5 years and he is finally here. But I was falling apart slowly...So thankfully Mia let me sleep 5 hours straight last night. What a blessing! Of course that was about all I got, but I will take it at this point! For such a pretty girl, she grunts and snorts like a pig all night and makes it hard to sleep! LOL SO I have 9 more days with all the guest and then it is just down to my sister from LA and her 4 kids til the 30th....
I will make it! So remember even though I am not here as much I am thinking of all you and still keeping you in my prayers!

Shelly- It's going to be this weekend. Are you in nesting mode and having bursts of energy yet? I keep seeing that butterfly outside the window. My dogs are acting strangely today too. It's for you and me... I promise I will let you go first though

Tia- I flew at 5 months. My OB says flying is only not recommended in the first trimester b/c of the risk of miscarriage and not being on the ground if it happens. Altitude on the plane will not be an issue(no different from anyone else on the plane anyway) and I just would not go hiking in Denver!!!
I actually got special treatment on Southmwest b.c I was showing

DH put the stroller together today and we played around with it, hen he took the infant carrier out and clicked it into the stroller, very cool. We put the co sleeper together only to find out we need leg extensions for it. So I rush ordered that and a mesh crib bumper just in case.
DH is drinvig me to Beavertail in Jamestown in a bit. It's so beautiful there... I just need to be near the water.
OOH and I got a landline phone installed today. Have not had a landline for 5 years.
It's strange.

I think Riley is sick. She does not look so good.

Devan and I are trading pictures of our swollen feet right now. I think we are pretty much tied.

Question for ya all. I am freaking out a bit.

DH has been trying to get his dad here from the Philippines for a while on a medical visa. The problem I have is that his dad walked out on him and did not start talking to him again until he was making money and then started asking us for help.

So, he told me today that his dad needs a carotid endartectomy and he needs to get him here. I know I am being selfish, but I don't want to be taking care of his dad while I have a newborn.
I have a feeling the timing is not going to be so good.
DH is not home to take care of me , let alnoe me, a newborn and his ill father post op.
What do i do or say?
I am nervous...
I am sort of bitter toward his dad too and we DO NOT have room here.

Rach..I am so sorry to hear that Cooper is sick..I would be devastated just like you..I hope that something can be done for him..I am so sorry.

Susan..Bummer about the bedrest..but do what you have to do to keep you and Phoebe safe and healthy. We are here to entertain you!

Shawna..Great news on the retrieval and fertility report! I can't imagine being awake for the retrieval but it sounds like it went just fine for you. So are you doing a 3 day txfr?

Tia..Flying should be fine..The cabin pressure will be around 6 or 7 thousand feet.

Brenna..Have a great baptism day!

Shelly..You need to try the sushi and going bowling routine..It worked for Mel's sister!

Heidi..Sorry to hear about the RE troubles. I know your post was a few days ago, but I definately recommend getting a second opinion. Don't worry about stepping on any toes. This is YOUR cycle and life and you need to take care of YOU.

I have a short Chicago layover right now and am sitting at the O'hare Hilton right now. I think I like Maui better! No offense to all the Chi town ladies!

April- Yes we are doing a 3dt. Enjoy your lay over!! Maui definately trumps all!

Brenna- I'm glad she is starting to let you sleep a little more! Please share pics of the baptism when you can!

I have a friend who went in for her c-section today! So exciting!

Susan- You are stuck in a rock and a hard place. Unfortunately even though DH's dad left him, I can understand how DH would want to help him. He is his dad and perhaps your DH thinks that this will be the one thing that gets him to stick around, not that it will necessarily be. Can you put him up in some sort of hospice care or something? I really can't say you can fault your DH, after all they've been through, he is still his father, kwim?

I am feeling pretty good today but still have the pressure up under my ribs. Didn't need any pain meds today and I'm so uber excited for Monday! I know they are going to transfer TWO!! Our cats are being so adorable too.....our female cat can't get enough of us and will sleep in between the two of us touching each of us in some way. (We're in a queen while we're away...our king will feel like heaven when we are home! LOL) And my little boy cat who would usually be all over me, must know that Mama is not feeling well. He'll come and rub on my feet but not jump all over me for a change, thankfully. I really think animals know!

Wow Tia, I always heard you were safe after the first trimester. And I heard it was the exposure to radiation that those elevations.

It is weird because I just posted a similar question on the forum. Could each of you weigh in with your honest opinions? Flying After Transfer: Would You? (your opinion wanted)

Shawna, you sound great and happy. I love it. You are technically 2 weeks pregnant right now. Things sound awesome over there. What will they do with your extra embies?

Susan, how fantastic to have the stroller and everything coming together. I know you are super uncomfy. So what is the plan with you. Do you have to lay down all the time? Can you ask DH what his dad's plan are for care? You can definately let him know your fears of having more on your plate than you can handle. I think if you come from an honest open place telling him how you feel in a caring way, he'll be able to receive it.

Shelly, your time has come. Danny is soon. You won't sleep much tonight.

Brenna, please congratulation Mia on her baptism. Are you having a brunch afterwards or anything?

April, you are here?! For how long?!

Hello to everyone else!!!

Josee- We are definately freezing the rest for a later date and time.

Is it normal to feel so bloated and pain up under your ribs? I suppose they were digging around in there and all...lol. I am pretty sure this is not OHSS...I feel fine except for the uncomfortableness under my ribs.

Oh and I had to send DH out of the apartment. He was driving me mad and acting stir crazy. He asked me if I could leave today, I said maybe for a short while...he exclaimed he was bored and going to go crazy. It is rather boring here though...we only have internet connections on one computer and the tv sucks....I've just been laying around reading "My Sister's Keeper" great book! I am thinking of reading "Eat Pray Love" next but will have to wait and see when I get to the book store again....

then the insurance company sent the hospital a letter saying please give a complete description of the services given for John ...hello?? wtf ... he went to the spank tank!

how else should they describe it!
