I know. I know. It was a close call. I'm really sounding like an addict but it was such my standby method for relaxation. Got to teach myself some deep breathing. I've only got 10 more weeks of wine-free living and I've already got my bottle of Rose champagne picked out for the hospital! DH is in big trouble if he forgets to bring it with him.

HUGE notes!! I'm with you Jen. If either of my brothers were responsible, I would put them in charge of the champagne hospital trip. Well, DH just brought me my carrot cake and DH is back home screaming at the Cowboys game which they just won with 7 seconds left and a 53 yard field goal... as DH keeps telling me over here...

I'm off to bed. See everyone tomorrow!

Hmm .. Nights are the busiest around here huh? Today was busy, so glad I go back to work tomorrow and life will maybe get back to normal, whatever it is that is? Oh and my DH is 6'3 and I'm 5'3 .. it is quite a difference but I love it. When we are cuddling I fit to him like a puzzle piece, those times are the best! Okay so tomorrow I'll be mailing my SS gift, guess I'll pay extra to get it there quicker. I hope the person on the other end doesn't think someone forgot about them, that would stink, Ugh!

Okay so tonight we went to the Olive Garden for dinner and I shared a bottle of wine with DH's BFF (Oh yeah, she is a "she" and it is a long story, we are all a happy family). (Quick background, DH's mother died from childbirth complications and so DH was raised by his grandparents. Well in elementary school he became close friends with his now BFF and her family was sort of like his "adopted" family. He was with them after school and on the weekends hanging out and just eventually become part of the family, literally. After his grandmother passed, he started to stay with this family and then graduated and joined the AF. To this day that family is more family-like then friends. Her parents I consider my "in-laws" and his BFF more like a sister in law than anything.)

So back to Olive Garden ... I started to get my Lurpon flashes and had to excuse myself outside (it's 50 degress) for a bit. On I cooled down I just didn't feel good so I was quiet and didn't really eat much. So on the way home I rolled the window all the way down and then DH was cold so I rolled it up. Ugh, I started to cry because I just felt so darn hot. I took my socks and shoes off and just laid my arm on the window, it was nice and cool. Well DH's BFF seen that my arm was fogging up the window so she told DH I need to roll it down and so he did and complained. So I started to cry again .. geez let me tell you I was a wreck, still am. I'm in shorts and t-shirt hoping to sneak and turn the A/C on before bedtime. It will only get worse before it gets better, Lupron dose #3 on the 19th, Yippee! But I know it is all for the prize at the end of the road, just getting there is rough.

Thanks for listening to me ramble .. awwww! I'm better now.

Great day around here .. babies and more babies. Shawna hope you are joining Brenna (congrads btw) and Tia!

Jen your charms are so cute, I love necklaces. I'm with Ronni on the trading. I'm not crafty but I'll think of something to contribute, I'd love to trade with everyone. So what does everyone make or design? Seems you are all crafty around here.

Shelly I'm glad to hear that you are looking at things in a new light. It helped me with everything I was going through to look at the big picture. Yes, sometimes things hurt but one day I'll be the one that is being blessed and boy will it be great!

Alana .. hope you had a great day!?

Shawna thanks for sharing the info about the 15th. I'll be sure to light candles and of course say a special prayer.

Sorry for anyone I missed ... Hugs!

I can't sleep.

Devan, PM me your address and I'll add you to the list.

Oh yeah, my DH is 6'2" and I am 5'3". I get a neck strain when I have to reach to kiss him. I now make him come down to my level. But it is great having someone to be able to reach stuff that I can't!

Sorry about your hot flashes. I get the same thing, and I am not on lupron! I like it cool at night and as soon as DH falls asleep I turn on the fan. He wakes up all grumpy cause he is cold. Well, I get hot!!! He complains cause I like to have a big fat comforter on me, which is so snuggly, but it is HOT so I need the a/c or the fan.

I'll write more tomorrow. I really should get my butt to bed.

Honestly I have no idea about what CD I am, coming off that nasty bout of uncontrollable bleeding. It would be fantastic, but I think it's more wishful thinking, although everything seems so uncanny....like it all did with my first pregnancy. I'll wait and test probably in a week or so...I dunno, I hate getting my hopes up.

Rachel- Now I definately want Carrot cake! LOL. WHat a wonderful DH!

Devan- those hot flashes sound like hell! But at least the juice is worth the squeeze.

Jen- yay for right twinges!

Brenna and Martie- how are you doing Ladies?

Alana- did you get some iron tabs and call your doctor?

Ronni- Good luck with your second opinion. I will think positively with you!

Tia- One more day! One more day! Transfer is on Wednesday right?

Heidi- you never did mention which island you're going to. DOn't hate me, but I've been to four...one of them twice. lol. So I do know some info on them. hee hee. Which reminds me, Rachel where did you stay on your honeymoon? We also HMed on Big Island...stayed at the Hilton, gorgeous property, stupid heiress! LOL

Shelly- More student teaching tomorrow? have a great day okay!

I'm wracking my brain trying to think if I've missed anyone, I surely hope not!! But if I did, I'm so sorry!! This is for everyone!

Anyone heard from Alana???

Jen- I like the upper middle charm in the photo. I could not see the other from the double photo. ANything earthy will work for me.

I am making some adjustments to your bracelet. Something I did not like. It will probably go out tomorrow. I have to plant bulbs today after I get back from taking Riley to the VET for her big appointment. I hope she is ok. She is pacing aroubnd the house like crazy.
My facial lasted 2 and a half hours. She is a friend of mine that I have not seen in a while. My best friend was walking out when I was coming in as well! My face is basically a hormonal-stress-mess. Just ended AF today. Still waiting on those tests to come back from the RE. So far everything is clear. Just waiting on mine and DH's Fragile-x. I guess I could potentially start Lupron in 10 days or so. Ughhh...
DH is going to Vegas on the 10th of Nov. so we might have to try to work around that.

Rachael- I will have some wine for you tonight. Actually one of the neurosurgeons that DH works with had a half a glass of wine once a month during her pregnany after the first trimester. To each it's own. I think I would be pretty paranoid.

Heidi- How are you hun?
Shelly- YEA! for getting ready to be an auntie! It's great, I love it!

Tia how exciting, sorry the waiting is killing you, Ugh! Doesn't the RE know we are already going through so much. We have no time for waiting! The ET was the best part of the whole expierence for DH and I. I loved watching how "life" all begins. The picture at the end was worth a million dollars.

So since I was off yesterday for the holiday this is my Monday, boy do I dread "the Mondays". And especially this one. Today I got up at 430 to take my DH's BFF to the airport and then I came to work. So needless to say I'm beat and this day is dragging, it's only 10:11.

Oh well ... Hmm .. nothing from Alana yet huh? Hope all is well.

Shawna what kind of bracelts do you make? Oh yeah, I hope AF stays away so you can test next week.

Jen how are you colonies doing? Did they do what you hoped they'd do over the weekend?

Shelly is gonna be an Auntie, Yippee! That is a great position to be in. Spoil rotten and then give back to mom full of sugar! Hope you have a great week at school?!

Brenna and Martie tomorrow is another big day around here, rise numbers rise! How are you both feeling?

Rachael and Ronni I hope you are doing well. And I think that is everyone, if not I'm SOOOO sorry. Hugs!

Hi girls. I'm posting as I'm lying flat out in the bed after a very traumatic day yesterday. I ended up stuck in the bathroom in a huge pile of blood in so much pain I thought I would die. DH pretty much held my hand through the whole thing, but it was 10 of the worst hours of my life. We almost went to the ER but decided to wait it out a bit longer and eventually the worst of it did pass. However I have NEVER seen so much blood in all my life. I must have lost litres of the stuff.

Anyway, long story short the miscarraige definately happened naturally, we managed to save something for the doctors to check genetically (I was hoping not to see that but I did...and its not pleasant!!) so I'm now completely white faced and drained lying in the bed. I'm missing even more work which is not good. The last six months I've taken so much time off...but what can you do? I'm just glad its finally over (still have bleeding and cramping but nothing compared to what it was) and I have to say...I NEVER want to go throught that again. It was full blown labour pains of that I am sure.

Anyway, thats why I've been MIA. I'm sorry I missed all the great news. Brenna and Martie, I'm so happy for you girls. I can't wait to read about doubling beta numbers.

to everyone else. I could have done with my girls yesterday...it was a very very traumatic day.

Hello everyone I hope it is as beautiful outside in your part of the country as it is here (or your country if you are in CA).

I hope Alana is alright also, I think the last time she was on here she was having light headness and was very tired due to the m/c. I was also starting to get worried this morning when I read through the posts because she nomally checks in at night.

Jen, my DH hate walmart also. I have been told I am not allowed to shop at the new one close to us because he does not like them stealing business from other places.

Susan I hope you Doggie is alright please let as know asap.

Tia cannot wait to hear when you ET will be. Best of luck.

I also love Halloween we have had a party at our house the last couple of years but I really do not feel up to it this time. We live between the corn field so we have never gotten a trick or treater. I have gone with my sisters and there kids the last couple of years, they are just so darn cute all dressed up.

I was having hot flashes last night so I opened the window and then DH said he was freezing and went to get the big comforter and then wanted to cuddle, hello I am sweating here!!!

Devan, I am feeling alright today, ready for tomorrow and hoping for big numbers for both Brenna and me.

Heart Oh dear .. I'm sorry you are hurting

Alana my heart is hurting for you. I’m so sorry that yesterday was so horrible for you, so glad that DH was there to support and give you comfort. I can not imagine what you have just gone through; life is so hard at times. I’m hoping that you’re RE will be able to run tests and help determine the reasons for this. Be sure to get all the rest you need and try not to worry too much about anything but you and DH. Focus on yourself and feeling better, take it easy. Keep smiling even though I’m sure it is extremely hard right now. Know that we are all here for you, always. Hugs and Kisses your way …

oh Alana I am so glad to see you posting i was getting worried. I am sorry you had to go through that. My miscarrage in June was natural because the dr likes to do it that way (what did he do?). I was at work when it started. Luckily I did not have bad cramps I just stood up and blood was gushing everywhere. I was so embarassed because I was at work. One of the ladies I work with drove me home were I went directly to the bathroom. That is a horror I never want to live through again. My DH was at work so he missed all of this as I had everything cleaned up before he got home.

I hope that you will be feeling better soon. Make sure you have the doctor follow up to make sure that everything is ok.

Martie
