Yes, thank you for opening your thread up to me back in January!! You have all supported me through the worst times of my life. And I can't wait for some of the best times to someday come )!

Susan - OF COURSE I WILL DRIVE DOWN!!! No matter what. I promise.

Alana - congratz on honors. You must be proud. I can't believe how close your due date is too! I want to see an updated pic of the nursery?! Please for me.

Josee - love the Caddyshack reference...

Shawna - POOP right back at ya sistah!

No more slaughter house talks. I was a veg. up until I was 21. When I lived in North Carolina during college I used to see those piggies in the trucks drive by and it would BREAK my heart...so sad.

Off to have some tuna on a rice cake! YUM!

Yeah I was going to say Happy Anniversary tomorrow! I want to thank each and everyone of you for making this thread what it is, a million pages long, with support for the tears, support for the heartbreak, laughter shared between us, love....lots of love, friendship and a common thread that brought us together that may have been meant to tear us down but has only made us stronger!

Thank you all from the very bottom of my heart! Alana, if weren't for your kind spirit, loving heart and beautiful support we'd all be floating around on fertility forum never having known each other. And to me, that would have meant not meeting the most amazing supportive friends I have ever had in my entire life! I love you all like sisters!!! Thanks again all of you so much!!!!!

And now, I'm crying!!!!

Oh crap I just googled the medicine that I am suppossed to take tomorrow to help me relax before my procedure and it is pregnancy category X. I am not exactly sure where I am in my cycle but pretty sure I am past ovulation. I have to have this done because I am in extreme pain. What should I do? Should I take an HPT and if negative take the meds? Or should I just tough it out with novacaine? The medicine is called Triazolam.

Marissa- If you think the pain will be covered by the novocaine then I would do without the Triazolam. It sounds like an anti-anxiety med which are mostly category X. Things like Xanax have been proven to do yucky things in pregnancy.

DO you think maybe taking a benadryl would help you relax a bit? It's relatively safe during pregnancy. I have taken it a few times ordered by the OB.

What are you having done? Is this the root canal?
I HATE the dentist too. HSG anyday over that for me.

Susan, after living with three stories and the laundry room being in the basement, my new dream home is a large one-story house. Actually, I don’t mind condo living except for the crazy neighbors stuck on either side of us. I can hear the old woman next door shuffling around at 5:30AM which is moments before DD wakes and she is constantly peering out her window if she hears someone talking. Then again so do I. The woman on the other side is a total snob, but then she probably hates us because we are rowdy at times. Like me and DH yelling demands to each other down three stories.

Alana, congratulations on the honours. Great job!! I just showed DH your sketches on FB and he was asking if you’re going to work in Set Design because your DH is in special effects isn’t he? So what kind of stuff does he do in his job? CGI?

April, you sound like a smart-cookie with all your career choices.

Devan, I hope your pains ease up. Sounds very uncomfortable.

Amy, so cute!!!!!!

Josee, your poo story reminded me of when we went to a large water-park and we were resting in the hot-pool when a young girl started barfing up chunks in there. You’ve never seen us move so fast.

Jen, the little skunks sound cute and stinky. DH loves the smell of skunk. It reminds him of summer as a kid. I think he’s nuts.

Kelly, no AF yet. It’s such a drag, how long is PMS supposed to last I ask? I need to locate my hot water bottle(s) but then again it’s too hot for those. Hmm what to do?
Ps. My sister lives on rice cakes and tuna because of her allergies.

Susan, we'll definately come and see wee Phoebe.

DH made apple pie with granny smith apples and bought me some more ice-cream today. I won’t be as mean tonight.
I’m out of honey/RJ. Maybe I should try the capsules instead because the honey is becoming a drag. I hate swallowing that glob.

I just took a look back at some of the threads we had before this one. I got sad reading them.

That is a good idea about the benadryl I think I will try that instead. Yes this is the root canal. I just couldn't live with myself if by some miracle I was pregnant and then caused my baby to have a problem. But what should I tell the dentist when I dont come in all loopy?

Marissa- I can assure you, I didn't need any funny meds for my root canal. It's not that bad, if you feel something ask for more freezing. Be tough girl! I did it and so can you! I know you can!!!

Thanks Shawna!!! How did I live my life before you girls. I called Dh to pick up some HPT's and benadryl and he thinks I am whacko. I think the earliest that I could have ovulated was 9-10 days ago so I dont think an HPT would pick it up yet and he thinks if it is too early for the HPT to pick it up then it is too early to cause harm. I burst into tears (I am emotional we all know it) and was trying to tell him how I could never live with myself if I was finally given this miracle and I harmed our baby because I was being a weanie at the dentist!!! But seriously what do I tell the dentist when I walk in all normal? Do I pretend to be loopy?

Marissa- Just be honest with him and tell him you decided not to take the medication because you *could* be pregnant. There is nothign wrong with that! but if you do take the benadryl, tell him about that just incase! Who cares what he thinks, he's just a dentist who only really ever cares about your teeth!

I agree..this is the best thread going..in fact, I have to admit I hardly ever read any other ones! Thank you so much for welcoming me here..you are all so dear to me!

I am leaving on a 4 day trip tonight..redeye to Chicago, then I will be laying over in San Fran. and JFK the other nights. I would try and get together with the Chi town crew, but I will be sleeping tomorrow since I do the redeye tonight. I need to get a nice long layover out there so we can meet up.

I am bringing the computer so hopefully I can stay caught up with everyone!

Marissa- Why did the doctor want you to be loopy anyway for a root cancal?
If he is using novacaine then that is all they normally use.
Should you be worried that he wants you loopy???LOL!

I think you will be fine. I had a few fillings in the first trimester with no novacaine and I am a big baby with sensitive teeth. It was fine!

From my understanding novacaine is pretty safe during pregnancy. I didn't think I should be worried about that at this point, should I? And also is there any interaction between benadryl and novacaine? Where is my favorite pregnant scientist?
