Back from my girlie dinner. It was absolutely perfect! Don't forget good girl friends when all of you have your little ones. We were laughing tonight about how we now have to ask our hubbies for "permission" and what a big deal it is for the hubbies to take the babies for ONE night. But, it's still great. We've know each other since college and have very similar personalities. We had a good time talking about how motherhood changes everything and when (if ever) do you get that feeling of normalcy back.

Josee - How did the meeting go? Was the food and music popular?

Shawna - Will you POAS update us tomorrow?

Marissa - I had to go to the dentist early in my pregnancy and confess to everyone but they won't think you are crazy.

Jen - Beautiful u/s pics! Can't wait for 4 more weeks. We found out at 14 weeks so there is hope!

That is the thing with my PCOS I am unsure but I am pretty sure I am past ovulation. It was either mid last week or early this week or I could be completly wrong. And am I the biggest loser to worry about this? After 8 medicated cycles and no pregnancy would it really happen naturally? Jen do you have any info on how novacain effects a fetus?

I'm feeling good. Much better than yesterday. Guess it was all just growing pains that baby was giving me.

I took the vike earlier (probably why I am not sleeping)...because the prednisone withdrawal was killing me. Lots of pains. I am drinking some chamoile/lavender tea right now. ....

Glad to hear you are doing better. I was worried. You still need to take it MUCH EASIER!!!

I'm so sorry to leave you all in the dark like that, I've had one busy afternoon.

Starters my OB appt was, well alright. I did see an OB who finally listened to what I was saying and seems to get it. My protein level came back high but not high enough to be considered preeclampsia, I'm almost there though. WTF, right?! She thinks that if things progress i.e. blood pressure elevated, swelling, weight gain then at my next appt Aug 7 I'll have to do another jug and she thinks that will set me to preeclampsia. So right now I'm in between. She told me my dizzy spells could be from not drinking enough water (yeah right, I doubt I could possibly drink anymore) or maybe I'm moving too quickly etc. Take it easy is what the verdict was. She told me everything that I was expierencing last night was just part of being 8 months pregnant. Our bumble bee is measuring at 32 wks so my OB thinks a growth spurt is coming and that is why there is so much pain for me these days. Although, it was nice to be seen, it doesn't feel as though I left my appt with answers. She did mention that DH and I need to start working on our birth plan and that I should take a parenting and breastfeeding class in the next month or so. Although I do feel better physically, I'm still bummed to be out in left field with no answers. Oh well, not much I can do. So I got home from my appointment and my friends husband was on his way over to cut my grass and such. Then his wife and kids come over and bring dinner and dessert. I literally have had a house full all night until now. I wished I could have been on earlier, I hope no one was too worried (Susan, my phone was in the car, sorry). Too funny. I was in my kitchen this eveing and my friend asked me why my hair was blue. I laughed and told her to get out of town. Well would you believe that my hair IS blue! The blonde highlights in the back are seriously blue. It has to be from the chlorine in the pool I've been swimming in lately but geez, blue hair. I called Regis where I got my hair done and they told me to come in for a consultaion on how much it would be to fix it. Since it has been over 2 wks they are not responsible, I was furious. So I'm hoping it washing out. Only me, that is my luck these days. How many people do you know in the Air Force with blue streaks in thier hair? Well, now you know at least one!

Devan - i know you didn't get any indefinite answers, but i i am glad you are being closely monitored right now. its important. it sounds like you have great neighbors! sorry about the blue hair? hummmm...does that always happen with blond highlights? i wouldn't think so. the good news is....you are ALSO so close to you due date! i just can't wait for you.

anyway, i am going to write a little in my journal and try to crash again. i have a meeting with the President of Polar Beverages tomorrow. How fun. Anybody drink their seltzer water?

Devan- With high protien and high BP they should be seeing you weekly. I can't beleive your next appt is ot until Aug 7th. WTF? That's insane.
Preeclampsia is serious and if they think you are on the cusp then they should have you on restrictions and monitor you a lot more closely than that. I am going to hurt these people. Have they checked your liver enzymes?
At 32 weeks you should be being seen every two weeks anyway. I would demand that they keep a close watch on you.

Kelly- I know that when I took Vicodin it kept me up all night and made me nauseous. I hate that drug. I hope you finally got to sleep.

Rach and Josee- sounds like you two both had good nights last night.
Josee- Glad you like those meetings. I tried several times to volunteer for my chapter of Resolve but they never called me.
Rach- Did Dh do ok with Aiden?

SO for me- I think Phoebe may make an appearance in the next few days. I feel terrible today and last night I was having all sorts of cramping like AF and was sick to my stomach.
My back is KILLING me. AND I have had a lot of diarrhea. I told DH to kkep his phone nearby.

Devan, is there any way to ask to be seen a few more times for peace of mind? that is 3 weeks away. I find it odd that they would tell you to take parenting classes this month and that you might deliver in 4 weeks but not see you sooner if they feel this way. Maybe you could ask them to move up the appt by one week like susan said.

Kelly, how did you sleep? I can't believe how tough that drug is on you. I had no idea it was so fierce.
