Rachael that sounds really frustrating. I think I'd be inclined to look around for a new stylist, but I know how hard that can be. Still, normally the problem is they cut it too short!!

Shawna, can't wait to see you with really long hair. I'll want a before and after pic of course.

Susan, any news hun?

I really should go and do some chores or something. I've sat on my tired butt all day as I feel so heavy and lethargic lately. But I don't want DH thinking I'm a lazy lump even though he is the one who tells me not to do anything. I just always feel so guilty.

Hope to hear some news on Phoebe later.

So my Ob nver called back. I called twice. I give up. Nothing more is happening other than the occasional cramp. I am eating veggie and cooked sushi for dinner and then DH is off to the hospital again.

I sterilzed all bottels and parts and now I just eed the swing put together and the car seat installed. I am very, very tired and this heat is atrocious.

Puck just lokoe dlike he was seizing a minute ago. They are both acting really weird.

I think I need some food water and sleep.
Thanks for the link Alana- I registered
Rach sorry about your hair. I am in desperate need to get my done and I don;t have an appointment until next Friday. I hope I make it until then.
Bye for now. I will keep you posted.

Susan, hope you're doing alright. I never lost my plug so don't have any good advice. Frustrating when docs don't return calls. Glad that Phoebe is active though. Maybe she is getting restless.

Rach, also frustrating when they don't take enough hair off. Are you not a ponytail kind of girl? That's me in a nutshell. I have too many unruly waves in my hair to not strap it back in the summer. Especially with the New England humidity. Yick. I had it when my sideburns get frizzy.
I remember when DD used to go nuts in the exersaucer. So funny to watch. They should make those for adults.

Poor DD wanted to go for a swim today and we didn't want to drive all the way to FIL's and we keep getting lost trying to find the YMCA. Now DH is giving her a bath and playing squirtgun fights. I'll have to remember to make sure I mop up.

AF still taking her sweet time. Close but no cigar. It's not late, just later than I'd like. RE#1's nurses never called me back, but RE#2's nurses (who are great and know me from the trial studies) called me back to say that my concerns about the IUI's are valid, that I should feel free to call both RE's to discuss, but recommend that I take it one step at a time. Do the tests this month and they will submit the paperwork. She said something about the RE could write a letter if necessary. I'm thinking, why wouldn't be do that already? But I guess they have their procedures. I'm always feel like a fruity nutcake when I call. I try not to leave too many neurotic and desperate voice messages, but I'm sure they're used to it.

Heidi - I'm sure the nurses are used to everything by this point! And, you can not possibly be at the top of the nutsy list I agree though that the RE should be proactive and just submit the d*mn letter before there is a fight! And, no I'm not much of a ponytail gal. I think my face is too wide and puffy. I need some hair to balance it out.

Susan - I think the carseat should be next! You can't leave the hospital without one installed and they don't help you at the hospital. Here if you took your car seat to a fire station than the hot firemen will install it for you Call first though. I know our station here only had one fireman official certified so I had to go on a day when he was working. I did give dh a chance to install it but when he finished without reading any manuals and there were seatbelts across the infant seat I knew we had a problem.

Shawna - How long is your hair now? We need before and afters.

Alana - Absolutely take this opportunity to be lazy! You won't get much nap time after Reed

Devan - I want to let you know I haven't forgotten about helping you with the rental. I asked around in the office but no one had someone special to recommend. So, I just did some research on the website of our sister office down there and I've got a couple of names that I want to call and talk to and make sure they are good enough for you!

UGHHHH!!!! I am so frsutrated that my OB never called back. I understand it may not be urgent but you still have to cal your patients back!

And the stupid car seat people did not call back either. I was hoping to get it done this weekend as DH does not have time during the week. The fire station is right around the corner from my house, literally, I can see it from here. No hot men there though. My ex- husband is a firefighter though. I could call him. Plus he has kids so he might know what to do!

Rachel this year has been a series of bad hair styles for me. The last good cut was in July and then my girl left to work with children with special needs. I didn't even get her number or else I would have had her cutting my hair in her kitchen . So I tried a new girl at the same salon and she barely did anything. I got a thick wig that needs thinned out. So then I went to this new lady at a salon down the street and I had layers ranging from bangs to mid back, very mulletesque. Then after my gallbladder surgery when I was feeling like a new woman I wanted to get all my hair chopped off in a really cute style (had let all the bang layers grow out). I go find a new girl and I didn't bring a picture but told her what style I wanted, stacked in the back, longer and angled in the front, kinda like Victoria Beckams bob well she said she knew exactly what I wanted. After about 45minutes she turns me around for the grand reveal and all I see is a little brown helmet. Oh and she colored it and I told her not to use anything with red because my brown washes out first and I am left with red hair with gray roots and it looks bad but she did it anyway. So when she saw my shock she said I can fix this so she started going all Edward Scissorhands on me and I ended up with a Hillary Clinton hair style. Now I am growing it out and am going to interview stylists so that I can get the da mn cut that I want. And I am going to stick to Nice N' Easy boxed color at home. Thats my hair story.

Rachael, you crack me up. I could literally hear your accent in my head as I read your exchange with your stylist. That is really not workable. 2 hours!!! Geez. And your story about the seatbelts and DH putting the car seat in is super funny too. Sigh. Men!

Susan, I remember Shelly saying she lost her plug about a week before she delivered I think. Maybe less. You are busting butt to get ready. I can't wait to see pictures of Phoebs. You better get that car seat in somehow! I like the fireman idea. How cares if they are cute, get them working on your problem! Did you ever get ADT at your house?

Hi Alana!

Lunch with Tia was fun. And yes, Tia, I was full for HOURS AND HOURS afterwards. Weird! loved seeing you. Tia was glowing and looking so very, very happy about her 'condition' hee hee.

Heidi, that is how I feel when i call cc.r.m. i feel like a lunatic control freak worry wort. I hate it. Your AF better come now.

Shawna, did you POAS? I am asking on Kelly's behalf.

Where is Kelly?

April are you here? I'll wave at the sky for you!

Josee- Kelly just texted me and she told me to tell you that she texted you too.

Also, Kelly says hello everyone! She is going out to see her friend's band play. She had to go back up to 40 mgs on the prednisone and she is sad. She wanted me to let everyone know she says hi!

I am sitting here with ice on my lower back b.c it is killing me. My feet are extra swollen today.
Where's Devan? I hope she got an earlier doctor's appt.

Wow... so we've been together for a year, ay? As of yesterday, my husband and I have been married for four years. We celebrated our fourth anniversary with our four-day-old son... it was just magical.

Thanks all of you for being a part of our journey... I NEVER would have had the strength to continue fighting infertility... so thank you all... I love you dearly and pray for each and every one of you and your families... I have greatly appreciated my forum family.
