amy you look great! i don't think i ever told you that i love your haircut... looks awesome.

hi tia. a popover sounds yummmmy. i miss pregnancy eating so much. enjoy it. i have long discussions with simon about how this extra 15 pounds is his fault because he always made me eat waffles for dinner.

hi josee, were you playing 'i never'? i had some fun (and revealing rounds) of that game in my past ... ahh, the memories.

tam, i think it's very normal to feel really cautious after a m/c. i didn't even buy pregnancy books until i was out of my first trimester because i had all these weird fears about cursing myself if i bought anything. i've read that most women who have m/c's go on to have healthy pregnancies - so try to be happy and enjoy this time - it is so special. and congrats!!!

Amy-my long hair takes about 5-10 minutes to de-knot, then a 20 minute drive in to work with the windows open to blow dry

Rach- Some wise philosipher once said "Pick your battles. Fight only the ones you know you'll win." With that said, some people will always just take take take. Your mom should perhaps step up when she plans these and say "This week Rach and Aiden are using (A,B,C) so SIL#1 and SIL#2 pack your shiznit!" But I really like what Josee said, ask your brother to unpack it all and throw in a comment about how it's so annoying to do this all the time. Unfortunately there is no wining with a person like her. My foreign SIL is very much like your annorexic one. She only cares about herself. My other thought is, unless you have someone (like your mom and your other SIL) to back you up, it may just be fighting an uphill battle. Good luck!

Jen- I'm reading my sister's keeper right now. I am really enjoying it so don't give it away! lol

PIAC this morning...BFN....yay!! Nothing will stop me PIACing or POASing. (Sorry Tia. I don't get that easily discouraged! )

Shawna- When is your beta?
Jen- Is that your real method for drying your hair???
Not in the winter time though right?

Tia- I just love popovers. Did you make them? I like putting sweet stuff in them like honey and brown sugar.
I lost my popoever pan...

My feet are enormous today. So I called the Providence Fire Dept and they have nobody there to do it either.
the security department at the hospital said they do it but they make me nervous. They are like 18 y/o boys working there...

I wish I could remember my ex husband's phone number... DARN!

BRU told my mom today that they no longer do it either. Our state has a mandate to have your infant car seat inspected and NOBODY does it. Do you all know about the history of RI being the most crooked/corrupt state?

That's why all of the mafia movies are filmed here. It's real!
You must have heard about our ex mayor "Buddy"...

I am so hungry today! Trying t be good thoug. Gotta watch the salt. My feet hurt.
My girlfriend is coming on Tuesday to give me a pregnancy foot massage. I will be one day short of 37 weeks and I told her she can press whatever points she wants to!

I need a nap...

jen--u made it to 12 wkls and I am sooo happy for you. As for hair, I am jealous b/c I always wanted to have long hair, but although it grows quick it breaks off a lot. I refuse to do extensions so I will have to wait.
I wanted to say thanks about the advice. I hope to start enjoying to ride when i see the bean on mnday. BTW thanks for answering me at all.

Jen, I totally blow dry my hair out the window. I get the nicest hair when I do that. Better than blow drying. It is straight and shiny when it stick my head out the window. I found out in April on my way to the airport with wet hair. My DH made fun of me but you can't argue that it looks great.

Amy, those are really cute dancing pictures! What a nice granddaughter you are. It is raining here today. I had acupuncture at 9 am, meeting with the pastor for a lesson at 11.30, and now my parents are on their way over to stop in say hi.

My parents used to come by more often but with each new grandchild, they stop in less and less. Last night, my daddy called me to say hi and check in with me. I asked him what he was up to and he said he was going to see 'The Girls' on Saturday morning.

And I asked him why he doesn't stop by our house much anymore. (Mind you, we all live 10 minutes apart.) He responded, "Well, there are more people to see at their house." I do have 3 adorable nieces over at my brother's house. Sigh. So I paused to allow for a lull for a moment and sweetly responded, "Wow, I wonder if you feel ackward right now for telling me that you don't come see me anymore because I haven't been able to have kids?" He was silent for a few seconds and laughed. He laughs a lot, especially when something awkward happens and he doesn't have words. So I added, "You do realize, Daddy, that isn't for the lack of trying that we don't have a better bang for your fuel buck over here." He said, "I know..." So this morning he called us (from my brother's house) to ask if they could stop by today. My husband agreed, of course.

You see my parents support us and feel for us. My husband agreed, of course. You see my parents support us and feel for us. They tell me they are proud of my strength and my ability to keep on keepin' on. They have even paid for everything insurance didn't cover for IVF (since they've helped my brother start college funds for his brood). But unless you are in this situation, you just don't get it.

Oh Josee, so sorry that conversation had to play out with your dad. I know how hard it is and I agree with you, you don't understand it unless you are going through it. I hope your dad was able to reflect on what he said and hopefully in the future is able to be a little bit more sincere. I'm sure he didn't mean it (noone ever does) but sometimes just taking a second to think about what you are about to say can be a lifesaver.

Looks like I missed a lot last night i.e. Susan lost her plug , Amy and Lily were out dancing the night away with some hot guy named Chris (great pictures), and Heidi had a water park in her bathroom. Good Times.

Shawna you have me craving some cottage cheese so I think after I shower and get ready for the day I'll be off to get some groceries. So glad your trigger is gone, now on to the good stuff.

Heidi I'm glad AF has shown up, you are on your way Love. Your cheerleaders have been practicing, we are ready for you and your cycle to kick off!

Rachael your hair dresser sounds like high maintenance to me. Geez, 4 people, really that is overload for anyone. I'd be frustrated to sit for that long just for a cut. I vote find a new one!

Alana can you believe Reed is going to be here soon. I can't believe how fast time has flown for all of us. Can we get another bump shot as well as some nursery photos? Congrads on your honors I think I'm a little behind.

Shelly your little man is so handsome. I look at his pictures in amazement. I'm so happy for you guys and timing is perfect. What better way to celebrat your anniversay than with your new son. DH and I have our 5th in Nov so it will be memorable for us as well. How are you? You look great in your pictures.

Martie, Kris (waffles are my food of choice for dinner too), Jo, Brenna, April, and Ronni you are being thought about always. Hope all is well on your end. Enjoy your weekend.

Kelly hope you are feeling better. Enjoy your weekend.

Tia my feet are actually down a lot right now. The past 2-3 days the temp hasn't even been mid 70's so I have slight ankles again. As long as the weather stays cool I'm fine.

Jen you are not serious about using your car windows as a hair dryer? That is funny. Yeah on 12 wks! How is the ms treating you these days?

OKay so I'm probably sure I'm forgetting someone and I'm sorry. I'll be back later, I'm keelping myself busy with relaxation.

I know what you all mean about getting into the OB before my Aug appt and it just isn't going to happen. There are no appointments and since we are not bleeding or having any trouble (other than maybe preeclampsia) I'm considered to be fine and the OB doesn't think me coming in next week or the week after is needed. So I'm back to my Aug 7 appt. I think it is because my bp this week was really good 120's and my swelling was somewhat down because of the lack of hot weather they are thinking all is well. Again, I think this is because I've not seen the same doctor in the past 8 months and noone really knows my history of my appointments because they are just reading an overview of me before they seem me. Needless to say I'm so frustrated with this stupid military hospital but there just isn't anything I can do. I was told that if I ever needed reassurance that I could at anytime go to L&D triage anytime, day or night. Ugh, what a standard answer.

But I've felt great again the past few days so I'm okay with not going back until Aug 7. DH will be home the week after than and then time will be almost up. I'd imagine at some time or another I'd be seen week or week but who knows at this rate. I don't have much more time to go.

Here are some pictures from earlier this week. It is amazing how big a belly can actually grown.

Devan, you are so photogenic! Your bump is super cute and I love that purple top. I love anything purple and this is cute to boot!

I am so glad your blood pressure is down and that you feel good. I hope it lasts for a long time. Do you have a home pressure checker to monitor it? How do you know what it is?

I am not upset with my dad. I just think he is a boob. he was just thinking that it is more fun over there. And hey, I kinda agree. I'd rather spend time with my nieces than anyone else. LOL.

I like that shirt too, Thanks. It was a good find. It was only $5 on base because they are clearing out thier summer stuff already. I bought a bunch of cute tops. I'll be sure to save them all so that when it is your turn and everyone else's you'll have some clothes already!

I do have a bp cuff at home but for the life of me can not figure it out. Maybe Susan's DH can walk me through it (or anyone else), I'm a blonde (well blue at the moment) and it takes me a little while to figure things out. LOL just teasing.

Devan- You look so good! I am glad you are feeling better, but how many weeks will you be when they see you again? After 34 it's supposed to be weekly. Whether there are no appointments or not, they still have a standard of care to follow. I would, if you experience swelling or high BP again, go to L&D triage. Pre-eclampsia is very serious. I don't want to scare you but it can be fatal. You can have seizures and liver failure. Please don't be afraid to be your own advocate. I will kick these military hospital doctor's butts.
