Devan- I can walk you through it. Is it a regular cuff where you also need a stethascope to listen, or is it automatic where you just put your arm in and it starts by itself?

Either way I can help. I was a nurse, plus I have to take mine three times a day.

Josee- I will also have a lot of maternity clothes for you.
I have spend, don't yell at me, over $2000 on materntiy clothes. A little over zealous, I know.

I am crazy.
So poor DH went to 2 fire stations and no dice. They were not very bright, nice but not bright.

Thanks Susan and everyone else. DH and have talked and yes if any sweeling like last weekend happens again or anything that makes me nervous I'll go to the triage to be safe. He isn't here to really understand how stupid the OB is being but he is trying to help from where he is with the things he says. So trust me, I'll know in the hospital for anything I feel isn't going right.

Speaking of last weeks swelling. I was uploading my pics off my camera and found a pic of my foot (don't mind the toe polish). You can see how gradually they've gotten bigger. They are still big right now but not this big. The other foot looks deformed but it was just that I was bending my foot for the pic. This dip in cool weather is helping alot.

Oky I'm done with the pics, sorry to be a forum hog.

devan, you are so precious! time is really flying and you will be there before you know it. i can't wait! just take care of yourself, and like derrick said, if you feel bad again, then go ahead and head to the hospital. when is he getting home? 2-3 weeks? i bet you miss him so much.

josee, i think it is great that you were honest with your dad. you have such a way with words.

susan, crazy that you can't find anyone to do the carseat. how are you feeling today?

jen, i am anal about my hair...that is why it takes so long. your method would make my hair an afro-puff. it must take you no time to get ready...with no make up and wind blown hair! i am super high maintanence compared to you! oh well.

my 1st shower is in 2 weeks! i got my 5 hostess gifts today for my girl friends that are throwing it. i got them big, nice beach bags. they were on clearance from $50 to $20. i LOVE sales! i will also admit to buying FOUR pair of shoes for myself in the last 3 days. shhhh, don't tell chris.

Devan, I was having a quick read of the posts and DD caught sight of the one with your feet and she wouldn't let me move on. She said "hmmm, look at that ladies feet, two of them match and the other one doesn't".

Oh my, Stella, you are too cute! She'd love the end of my People magazine with the 'find the differences'. I remember those in the dentist office Highlights magazines for kids.

Devan-is that the first time I am knowing that you have a foot tat? How cute (but not the poor swollen feet!). You look so beautiful and happy (even with swollen feet).

Hell yes that is my method of blow drying my hair. DH generally showers before me and comes out of the shower with his hair almost dry. Pisses me off. Sometimes I do blow dry for about 5 minutes, but as you can see below, doesn't make much difference. It is a rats nest-you try dealing with it!

Amy-makeup? yucko. I am a nerd, remember?

Tam-your welcome. It does get easier. And this hair picture featuring my ever expanding rear end is for you

Heidi-Stella is adorable

Josee-I want to give you a hug. Your dad sounds like mine, except since I am an only child, we don't have that problem. And he lives in FL. But my step monster is always dragging him somewhere exotic rather than come visit his only daughter

Okay, here is me at 12w. I just look fat.

OMG Amy- I was just starting to write that I just fell as well. I just paged DH. I pulled my back and leg.
My belly is ok, I just scared myself. I slipped on water that just came in from a downpour all over the floor.

Amy- are you having any contractions? You should be ok. You still have a ton of amniotic fluid at this stage. Good idea to call the OB anyway though.

Are you okay? I am sure Lily is fine, but I would definitely try to get in with your dr. just to make double sure. Do you have a fetal doppler?

if i dried my hair out the car window it would be a big frizzball. josee you are so lucky. amy i totally hear you on wanting low-maintenance pregnancy hair. i stopped fixing mine about 4 months in and pretty much just wore a bun every day.

hi jen, how are you? i'm a million pages behind - are you feeling pretty good?

devan your poor little feet. the same thing happened to me. make sure you keep them raised as much as possible. they go back to normal pretty quickly after you give birth.

i am back from the mountains finally ... ok i have to post some new pics of simon from our visit to grandma's. sorry for the overload, i am a proud mama and can't choose just one. doesn't the one in his carseat look like he's making gang signs?

Marissa- It's a WWJD....but not Jesus....Josee. I like it!

Josee- My parents have said some pretty hurtful things like that to me as well. Like I don't have kids so traveling is so much easier for me, why thanks for reminding me mom. OR, how the grandkids she had was perfect, she didn't need anymore as she was cuddling on my nephew. OR, how Christmas with us doesn't matter, only Christmas with the kids is what matters. You have a wonderful patience for those types of comments! I admire you.

Amy- I hope everything is alright, I am sure it is. My auntie was rolling down hills at seven months pregnant....mind you she was probably drunk because drinking during pregnancy back then was okay but still. I'm sure Lily is just fine, she is cushy and only had a minor jar.

Susan- I hope you are alright too!!!!! Sorry to hear about the SNAFU it is to get your car seat installed!!

I am feeling crampy off and on all day....when do you all think is a good time to test for an accurate reading? As far as beta, I'm going back to my OB that misdiagnosed my ectopic. (Beta the 29th) I came to the conclusion it wasn't really his fault. He got the results from teh u.s and wasn't there (they never are) so I want to blame someone it's the dang u/s tech or Little Ray for being such a good hider! I'll give him a second chance but if he pisses me off I'll find a new OB.
