Susan- Your boob grabbing has me cracking up!!! I am so sorry about your jug results (no pun intended ). More bedrest? Are they talking induction soon? I feel so bad for you, I think maybe Phoebe should come out soon .

Marissa-
I don;t know what my OBs are thinking. My primary is against induction, just hopes that my BP will remain at a high but not too high point. The rest of the docs in there are all for induction at 37 38 weeks.
My bobdy cannot take anymore and I just found a whole bunch of nasty strecth marks that I could not see before. They are deep and thcik. I thought I escaped the pregnacy with none wbut i guess the Burt's Mama Bee did not work so well
Oh well, it;s all for Phoebe.
I just played some baby crying sounds which I do frequently for the dogs and I followed it with, 'Come on guys let's go get the baby"!... Riley followed me up the stairs and we went into the baby's room. She checked things out for a minute then sat quietly on the floor until I told her to come with me out of the room.

Amy- I soak Puck and Riley's food in hot water too. They think it's gravy! Riley had bloat(a volvulus) when she was 6 months old and ate half a bag of dog food while I was not home(20 pounds worth). She almost died and since then they recommend I do this to the food to "pre-bloat" it!

So this humidity is getting old.
No Tv, crap weather and I can't do anything but cook and eat.
I think I will sleep now.

Anyone every order anything from the Baby Center Store online?
I placed an order last week and have not gotten a confirmation of shipment...

Susan - You'll do fine with the bf'ing. Just ask for a lactation consultant the second Phoebe is born. I had one come visit me every day in the hospital whether I wanted them or not! Did your OB talk about inducing at all or not quite yet?

Josee - Love ya too!! I have several videos so hopefully I can figure out the whole utube thing after I put Aiden to bed tonight since I'm caught up on some work now.

The money thing is interesting. My parents definitely became more comfortable as I became older. So, I had to go to public college but middle brother went to Duke. My parents always had me work in high school to earn spending money.... but somehow that lesson was lost on my brothers. I also worked all the way through college. My parents definitely helped me along the way. If I maintained a 3.0 or above my freshman year, they bought me my first car and they helped me with the down payment on my first house to get me into a safer neighborhood than I could afford. They paid for every cent of our wedding. DH's parents have yet to ever give us a dime and they have lots of dimes to give! My parents just recently set everything up in trusts and sat us all down with our spouses to explain how things would work one day. I think my parents formed a nice balance and I hope I can do the same and have some extra $ here and there to help Aiden too.

Aiden and I just got back from our first gymboree. Can't say it was the excitement of my life but there's not a whole lot of activities for 6 month olds. It was cute and he did get to interact with the other babies. Everyone else was older and he did several things the teacher didn't think he would be able to yet. Now he's tired and grumpy. 15 more minutes till nap time....

Thanks Rach I am nervous about breast feeding.
I just found some cream that i have for stretch marks that says to use during pregnancy but it has Vitamin A in it! I know you are not supposed to use that while prego. I should call the company.
I't s been in my linen cupboard for two years.

there is a really weird looking guy walking by my ouse. Which reminds me, I am still waiting for an install date on the alarm.
A bird just flew into my window. I am afraid to see if it is alive. Both dogs freaked out when it crashed.
Poor birdie.

Susan what is your blood pressure at? My aunt had to have a c-section with my cousin not quite 2 years ago for preeclampsia. It is very dangerous and can get very serious very quickly. She was 33 weeks and now my cousin is fine. BTW my aunt is not even 10 years older than me, my grandmother had 9 children . What are they thinking high bp and protein in the urine?
If you have any headaches you head to L&D right away. Please rest and take it easy.

Last high pressure in their office was Friday 156/94.
Yesterday DH took it and it was 135/82. Not so bad at all.
My feet looked great this morning.
I go tomorrow to see the OB that I really like. We'll see what she says.
I have a NST too.
My U/S came back with normal growth for baby and she weighs almost 6 pounds!
I am ready!

Susan - You and Phoebe are doing great with growth. Just a couple more days now. Hard to believe! I ordered somethings from Baby Center and didn't have any issues. Can't remember if I got a shipment email. Hate to tell you this but I had not one stretch mark during pregnancy. As soon as I delivered, by the next morning they were all over my tummy. Guess it works the opposite way too! Anyway, they are almost all gone now and my thighs are bigger issue for me

Off to work on Aiden's baby book while he's napping. I am so far behind... don't tell the little guy!

Yeah rach- I guess I will notice the stretch marks once my belly goes down. Oh well. I can make them fade later. I am more concerned about my thighs too! They are touching and it's grossing me out. I think I may have to join the Stroller Strides mom's on their intense walks and workouts in the park.

Hey girls, very tired today so in lurk mode, but wanted to get on and say to Shawna that I have a really good feeling about this hun, I can't wait to hear what your beta is!

Susan, it does sound like Phoebe wants to make her grand entrance now, lets hope this other OB will agree to induction. After all you've been through during this pregnancy it seems a bit mean to let you suffer for another 3 weeks just because the OB doesn't personally agree with inducing. Its perfectly fine for the baby as they are fullterm at 37 weeks, maybe you should remind them of this fact.

Rachael, it sounds like you are slowly figuring out what is going to happen to Cooper, I hope its better news than what the vet suspects. Keep us posted okay.

Kelly, I haven't read that book but you've got me checking it out on Amazon now to see the price. I may have to buy it.

Hi to all my other girls, sorry I'm in a slump but this low iron has me walking around in a daze lately. I hope my OB doesn't change his mind about induction too as I'm counting on not being pregnant anymore in 6 to 7 weeks...I need to get my levels back up! I guess I'll ask him again when I see him on Thursday.

Hi Pretty Blondie! That iron deficiency has to mess with your energy bad. I had no idea that could be a problem. I hope it evens out and that the dr. knows a trick for you.

I am learning so much from you gals. It will all come in handy this fall as I swell up with life. I am crying again.

Rach, do you know of MyPublisher photo books? Check them out online. So easy to make. I asked my buddy for all of her baby pictures of her 6 month old and made her a baby book of the first six month of her daughter's life and had 4 copies printed so the grandparents could have copies too. It was soooo freakin' cute.

Susan - Phoebe has grown so much!! Yay!

Just got back from accupuncture....very relaxing. Totally is into "seriously" treating my condition. She said she has been researching for me like crazy. I wanted to say WTF? Hello! I have been coming to you since I was admitted to the hospital.

Jen - I need you to post instructions on FB on all those pregnancy tests. I have no clue what to do with any of them.

I am in a slump but trying to dig out. The prednisone has blown me up BIG TIME. I hate it. I hate how I look.

Hopefully the highlights on Wednesday help me out

YAY MARISSA on shorter cycles!!

Rach - your brother went to Duke? I went to NC State!! I loved Duke. I worked for Senator Terry Sanford before he passed away at a law firm in Raleigh. We did have great times with Porter...but I was just so shocked that something like that can come on so suddenly and take over. I hope you get more answers...and I know how hard it must be. My thoughts are constantly with you. By the way. ..you need to make labels for your baby food. Ever see BABY BOOM! Love that movie.

Josee- don't cry because then I am going to cry....

Josee - I took a look at them once on Alana's suggestion and they are gorgeous. I even downloaded the software but never got around to it. Urgh. One of these days... I'm feeling guilty as I fill out this baby book. I don't know all of his "first" days. Got a couple of them but should have kept better track of the first smile, first laugh, etc. Guess Aiden's going to have some blanks in there! At least he has home made baby food right? Oh, and a scrapbook of ultrasounds while I was stuck on bedrest! Should we send you up some kleenex since you'll be needing lots of them with all those pregnancy hormones over the next few months?!

Heidi - How did the bloodwork go?

kelly - I never saw Baby Boom. Hmmm. Right now my labels consist of masking tape with the ingrediants and the date it was made. I'm so glad you are taking time to heal right now. Highlights always help! How about a mani/pedi too?

Susan - My thighs are still rubbing. Totally gross. Thank g-d for Ronni and her marathon creme she recommended or I wound be chapped to hell by now.

Off to eat some dinner before Aiden wakes up. Plus, my mom is coming to let the dogs play together and she would not approve of the chicken in my cheese pasta. Not on the kosher list. Grandpa is on his way to Georgia and should be here by midnight!!
