Rachel - Baby Boom ..with Diane Keaton? She was a total NYC workaholic, inherited a baby from a lost cousin, quit, etc..moved to VT and then made her own baby food. It is such a cute movie. Glad to hear Grandpa is on his way to Georgia! Where did you go to college?

Heidi - did you have your CD3 testing....?

I am on forced time right now. And thats what is making me cry. And you girls are just so sweet to me.

Rachael, you have advantage. Aiden is a boy. He'll never pout because you missed getting a photo of the precise moment of his first smile. LOL!

Kelly, highlights do wonders for a girl. i am going in on thursday.

Did anyone else get Alanis' new album Flavors of EntanglementShe has a great song called incomplete that I think most if all of us can identify. it puts a positive spin. Listen here. Or read the lyrics below.

YouTube - Alanis Morissette - Incomplete [NEW SONG]FULL

One day I’ll find relief
I’ll be arrived
And I’ll be friend to my friends who know how to be friends
One day I’ll be at peace

I’ll be enlightened and I’ll be married with children and maybe adopt
One day I will be healed
I will gather my wounds forge the end of tragic comedy

I have been running so sweaty my whole life
Urgent for a finish line
And I have been missing the rapture this whole time of being forever incomplete

One day my mind will retreat
And I’ll know God
And I’ll be constantly one with her night dusk and day
One day I’ll be secure
Like the women I see on their thirtieth anniversaries

I have been running so sweaty my whole life
Urgent for a finish line
And I have been missing the rapture this whole time of being forever incomplete

Ever unfolding
Ever expanding
Ever adventurous
And torturous
And never done

One day I will speak freely
I’ll be less afraid
And measured outside of my poems and lyrics and art
One day I will be faith-filled
I’ll be trusting and spacious authentic and grounded and home

I have been running so sweaty my whole life
Urgent for a finish line
And I have been missing the rapture this whole time of being forever incomplete

Kris is a POAS expert. I'd trust her. She could write a book on it.

Hi April, so happy that you and Mel have some time together. Is that U/S for the okay to start stimming?

Susan - The Marathon creme is called Body Glide and you can buy it at any of the sports stores. Just ask someone. don't be embarrassed. I went in there about 8 months pregnant and they only smiled a little Pretty obvious you're not running marathons at that stage.

Josee - What beautiful lyrics. I have to buy her cd. I like Alanis and haven't bought anything of hers in forever. You're absolutely right that the lyrics run true for so many of us. We get so obsorbed in the moment and the dramas that we lose the bigger picture. I often have to remind myself of this too. Oh, and I need you hear tonight. I'm finishing the last of the rose and eating brie. Maybe we can convince your dh to include my neck of the woods in his job search. I promise I can half your real estate taxes

Kelly - I forgot all about that movie!! I haven't seen it since the 80's. I would love to see it again and I'm sure dh would laugh his as* off. Might have to do some searching.

Shawna - Your FDP is sounding more BFP by the hour

I'm off to research Utube and see if I have any success at posting these videos. Be back!

I will definitely call first thing in the morning. Dr. Google has not been a big help. It seems to be such a range with people and "recovery". Oh well I have dealt with worse.

Crickey, lots of posts. I sped read again, but I don’t think I missed anything vital.

So, I didn’t end up drinking any water because I was nervous that the nurse specifically mentioned fasting and before I knew it it was time to go. Had to leave before bird’s fart to get there so that I could go to work afterwards and then the silly train was late anyways. Can’t win. I got my b/w results which were all normal. My FSH was 6.85 which I think is pretty okay. There’s a few tests they are sending away and they’ll let me know if I have HIV I guess. Yikes, I hope not. They didn’t say anything about my u/s but the technician made me nervous measuring al the blobs and blips. I have my sonohysterogram on Friday which sucks because it’s the one day that really sucks to get there. DH is scheduled to work a double shift covering two other people who are out and I’m making him take me in the middle of the day and they didn‘t have any flexibility to change the appt. I should find a RE that I can train to.
After that they’ll submit to the insurance co and just wait and hope that they approve IVF and don’t give me any bs.

Shawna, I hope this is it for you.

Josee, don't cry.

Susan, the nurses helped me with nursing after delivery. My main tips would be:
Getting the right position so that baby isn’t pulling down on your nipples and your back isn’t hunched over.
Making sure her little mouth is open wide as she’s about to latch so that she gets a good mouthful and not just the tip of your nip ‘cos that hurts.
Making sure her little nostrils aren’t smothered because that will cause her to loose breath and stop feeding.
Don’t let her use you as a pacifier because you nipples will get bruised and painful.
The worst part of breastfeeding: Engorgement - it’s terrible. I’m not sure how to prevent it, but thankfully it didn’t last too long maybe a few days.
This looks like a good site and the pictures don't leave much to the imagination: http://www.basic-breastfeeding-pro.com/index.html

Susan-I got your package today. Thanks!!! Those are really cute shirts And I am gonna start reading the books tonight.

Shawna-Congrats on that FDP! I can totally see it. I was the queen of FDPs, but I believe it was Heidi that coined the term, or at least told me what it meant.

Rach-big hug for Cooper.

Kelly-here is what you do. Pee in a cup. Then, using the droppers provided (some have them in the foil packages. The big round ones have their droppers in a plastic bag I provided. Add 3-5 drops of pee (fill the little circle on the cartridge) and wait 3-5 minutes.
