Rachael - I was just looking at that thread! I sure love to see recommendations from BFPers!

I talked with CCRM in Englewood today and have a phone consultation with one of their REs on 11/1. They'll review all my records ahead of time. I'm very curious to hear with they have to say as I keep hearing that they're the best in the country and the particular RE I requested has come highly recommended from several people I've spoken with. Now I just have to fill out all the reems of paperwork and get my records compiled.

I swear...I could make finding a new RE my full time job at this point. It's VERY time consuming already and I haven't even gone to meet any of them yet!!

Tia- Sweetie, I am so sorry. I can't even begin to imagine how you are feeling. My heart is truely breaking for you. It's just not fair. Sending all my friendship and love, take care and take it easy!

Ronni- Good luck with the consults and new REs.

Alana- I had an ultra sound during my miscarriage, I did end up having to take antibiotics but that could have been from anything and was more of a precaution on my GP's part. Anyways, the probe is covered in a sterile condom...they can't go sticking unsterile things in places like this. The only thing I worry about for you and the dildo-cam is the pain. Can you ask for pain killers before hand? I think you need to go no matter what. You are in a gray area here Alana, you could end up with an infection anyways if things aren't clearing out as they're supposed to be. Has the bleeding subsided yet? Good luck!

Jen- No worries on the yellow/blue. I can't pick, they are all amazing and I'm not sure who has picked what but I've decided that anything with purple would be wonderful. Thank you so much for doing this, you are so talented. I'll be pulling out my stuff and getting your ribbon going here shortly. I've just been busy the last few days...

HENSE..the five pages I had to catch up on! LOL

Martie- Yay Girl! That's truely wonderful news!!

Brenna- HAPPY BIRTHDAY Girl!! I hope you also have a fantastic beta and are having a splendid birthday.

Susan- How are things going with you Hun?

Robin- Welcome to the thread. Hee hee.

Devan- Heya!! A lady bug tattoo on your foot? How cool is that?! Pics please! I love tatts!

Two words for Oprah...POMPOUS B ITCH! I really dislike her now. I've always noticed it seems like in the last ten years she's really mocking her guests...now I truely heard it as I checked out her website and read some of the things on there. She disgusts me!

Sorry I have not been around for the past couple of days, we've been trying to find a house and we'll be making an offer on one tonight. Please keep your fingers crossed for us. We're excited, scared, excited, scared...lol. Not the first house we've bought but the first one we've bought here and we're hoping our offer is accepted.

Stupidly, last night I took an HPT...and here I am standing in the bathroom turning every which way to see if there is the faintest of faint lines and I swear to God, I saw one so DH grabs it from me does the same and announces that there is nothing there. LOL. So I guess he's right, I'm seeing things I want to see but not what is there. I guess I"ll re-test in a while if AF is still not here. LOL

Sorry for the long butt post! LOL

Tia hun, I'm so sorry, that is so upsetting. I guess you know 100% whats been causing the miscarriages, its not your body or anything, although I guess the point of the PGD was to help in this area wasn't it. What do they do now? If you had more eggs than just 5 on a new cycle would there be at least one good embryo? Can they up the stims and get you more eggs or something?? Sorry for all the questions...I'm just so sad and frustrated with you right now. This is so unfair, I HATE this IF stuff!

Oh and Shawna, the pain is definately stopping me going in for the ultrasound. I think I would literally DIE if they put that thing in me right now. But you're right, I need checking out, so I will probably try to go on Friday at least.

Shawna, that is funny about the POAS story I have done that before, I think there was a thread a while back where everyone was confessing there POAS obsessions. Some people have taken them apart to see how they work. I really think this IF think does things to your head and you just cannot help yourself.

Tia, I know this is absolutely not going to help how you are feeling right now, but I was thinking about this PGD thing, and honestly...thank GOD you did it. Otherwise just think, you would most definately be having yet ANOTHER miscarriage in a few weeks. And considering the amount of pain I'm currently in, I'm very glad for that embryologist saving you this pain. Its not great, but its a kind of positive side to a very s h it ty result. I don't want any more of my girls to go through what I just have again. Tia hun, you deserve so much more!

And while I'm chatting away to myself...lol...I thought I'd mention I watched the Oprah episode too. What a condescending 'beyotch' as Susan put it...wow... could she be any more bitter? Personally I think she has some issues to deal with about the whole childless thing. I know many women do honestly choose that, but most don't, and shes so 'holier than thou' about those of us who want to fight for our choice. I mean, she fights for hers...why can't we? She didn't do an infertility show at all, she did a 'beat silly little women who want babies over the head' show and I actually threw a pillow at the screen watching her at one point. I should sue her show for unnecessary stress whilst suffering a miscarriage!!!

Alana .. i'm here

i am totally glad that our re wanted us to do pgd ... i totally would have had another m/c ... it was just a matter of time if we had not gone the route of pgd ...yes it was expensive ... but worth all the money in the world vs. another m/c ..my last m/c i ended up in the er due to old tissue trying to pass after the d & c ... it was the worst pain i have ever experienced in my life outside of IF heartaches

thanks hun ... this is when i wish we all lived close to eachother so we could meet at a bar!

Done! And Congratulations!!! See, that number more than doubled!!!

Susan-yes, I saw your post about the charm. I am gonna file it down in a few minutes and will take it to be fired tomorrow night.

Tia-yours will be sent out soon.

Rachael, Devan and Ronni- I didn't make it to the post office today but will right after my 8am u/s tomorrow. Martie and Alana (check your PM-I want to make sure I got the right charm) I will send yours out tomorrow too.

Okay, give me a little bit to grind the charms while it is still light out. I got a few pictures (boring!) of what growing bacteria looks like (I forgot to take a picture of a plate, but I will search online for one). And I will tell a boring story.

Tia, I would LOVE to meet at a bar right about now. Bleeding and pain be D AM NED!! lol. Where do you live? I'm so upset I'm in the wrong part of North America right now, however I'm almost certain DH and I will move again soon, probably to California though...not much closer. I want to move somewhere near all of you!

Hey, Tia, what do you drink. Martinis? Wine? I'm probably a big geek but I'm excited for when the 'Sex and the City' movie comes out. I always want a martini when I watch that show.
