Hee hee the red comes from a bottle. (Although I had red hair when I was born.) And tomorrow, just for you, I will style my hair down and take some pics! I usually pull it back as it's the easiest way to manage it and it's the style I like the most.

The bathroom is definately the best place to photo graph except for what a person might catch in the back ground! LOL

And I totally hear you on the hundred photos that I have to take before I find just the one...that I kinda like and am willing to post! lol. Which is funny because I'm sure no one else is picking it apart quite like I am! LOL

Also maybe because MA is a mandated state most people opt for a fresh cycle over a frozen because they can.

Oh my... you know... I think you're right. Ugh, I have to get my acronyms right... SOOOO sorry to sink your spirits... wow, I'm careless sometimes. I take it back. RSC reports having a 47.5% success rate for EMBRYO transfer. It was the frozen EGG thing that most clinics are having a hard time with. Embryos are more hearty. Woah... again, so sorry for the misinformation.

Shawna- LOVE your wedding pic! Always loved those dresses with the red trim like that... My mum wouldn't allow it, though... she's old fashioned. Anyways... you and your DH look so happy together... *sigh* It's good to have someone like that with you through all of this...

Ooh, and the whole incognito thing... well, as you can see I'm not shy about who knows I'm here... however, I just googled my name (with a space in between) and got nothing... but when I googled my name (shellyhume) this forum came up... eek. If that witch from work wanted to know everything about me, well, here you go, ay? Oh well. Other than to her, it's no secret what I'm doing.

well, off for some bloodwork. Gotta make sure I'm not still hanging on to any residual HCG... boy, I hear AF's footsteps, I tell ya... I had to wear a sports bra last night to bed just so my tshirt wouldn't touch my sore BBs. And woah, hi holy cramping. This one's gonna be a doozy, I can tell.

Thanks Jen, thanks Shelly. I wish I could rewind to our wedding day whenever I feel bad about IF or life in general...that was the happiest day of my life...or replay our first ultra sound, seeing our baby's heart beat was amazing!!

Anyways, I can't remember if I ever replied to what KWIM or IMO means.

KWIM - Know what I mean
IMO- In My Opinion (varaition is IMHO- In my honest opion)

I use these little short cuts so often that sometimes when I email my mom who just got the internet not too long ago, I have to reread my entire email and write it all out or she'll have no clue what I'm talking about! LOL

Shelly- I hope that your HCG levels are dropping and that AF is nice to you!! That does sound like she's going to be a doozey!

Shelly, Jencat (is it Meredith as your signature says? If so...where does the Jencat come from?) it sounds like you are both going to be getting a visit from AF any day now. I hope she isn't too horrible to you both...however she also represents a new cycle too so I guess in these situations we'd rather she showed than didn't. Am I right?

Jencat/Meredith, your pics are adorable. You and your DH look so cute together and will have some very good-looking kids. In fact, everyone on this forum is HOT (as that dreadful Paris Hilton would say). We is some hot young thangs!

Rachael, you are such a gorgeous preggers lady and you need to stop worrying about the behind that doesn't exist. I can't wait to see more pics as little Aiden gets bigger and bigger and makes his mommies tummy huge. I'll admit it...I love bump pics!

Shawna....you look great in photos and should never feel shy about posting them again. You and your DH make a really cute couple and I just love your wedding dress. The trim really enhances the style.

Heidi, how are you doing hun? Any further decisions on the snowbabies? Actually, aren't you having a HSG soon? Let us know when so we can give you moral support before it. I personally didn't find it too bad but I do know for others it can be quite painful. I guess it all depends on the state of your tubes? Either way, let us know.

As for me, I'm on day 8, I have quite a few follies but only 2 that are really any decent size. My RE might be putting me on injectibles for a few days so I'll find out on Thursday (day 10). Peachy, they tend to do ultrasounds every couple of days at my clinic for IUI, however this is my first one so its a learning experience for me also. I'll post as it happens...it can be like IUI learning time!

Hi all.

Shawna, your pics are great. So nice to put a face to the posts!!!

Shelly, hope when AF finally comes to visit that she's not too mean.

Alana, I'm actually having a sonohysterogram tomorrow, to check for abnormal tissue in the uterine cavity because of D&C. This is one procedure I have never had yet. Hope, hope, hope I didn't get bad scarring. I've been feeling a little sore, just like the days after D&C.

Here's a couple of family pics:

Sunny, your little girl is the most gorgeous little mini-me of you. What a doll! (I want one even more...now I KNOW I will go through with the IUI! Thanks hun )
As for your HSG tommorrow, I hope its not too bad and that they find out there is no scarring. I know you are still having pain since the D&C, however my RE (both of them...lol) have said if your tubes/uterus were clear before its extremely rare for something to form after only one D&C. However, its definately better to be safe and find out so I'm wishing you tonnes of luck. Let us know the results as soon as possible okay?

Thanks Alana, I am hesitant to post pics of my wee one in case it makes people in any way sad. But I know you all know what a struggle it was to conceive her in the first place. Conceive her, he he, sounds funny, that's the sort of thing that will embarrase her when she's a teenager. But, I am really glad it gives you some hope, because in a little while you'll be snuggling a little sweety of your own. We do have to go through a lot of crap to have them, but it is diffenately worth it. As my DH reminds me, if we had been able to have a child sooner, it wouldn't have been our DD. We had to wait to get HER, but if we could go back and change things now, she wouldn't be her.

He he, I just edited my earlier post so that Jen wouldn't think I was a moron!! Great minds think alike (or is it small minds, ha ha)

(ps. Jen, thank you for the post on the successful FET, it all helps the positive thinking!!)

I'm guessing Jen probably knows I'm a moron by now (lol...honestly, I'm actually glad for this mess-up, I haven't laughed so hard in a while!), in fact, I'm still sitting here chuckling away.

Heidi, you are too sweet. I really hope I'll have a little one like you soon. And you are right about the fact that had you gotten preggers sooner you wouldn't have THIS little girl. Thats a really important thing for all of us to remember I believe. That maybe our miscarriages are making way for the children we are all meant to have. Its a nice thought and makes it seem like maybe theres a reason for these losses. Like our babies just weren't ready to join us yet or something.

Also, don't feel like you can't post pictures of her, I really truly thrive on them. Why else are we all doing this? Its not for the fun of it...its so we can have our families. Seeing your little one gives me more hope than all the IUI's out there. Because she is a true success story. So keep 'em comin!

Oh, Heidi... your perfect little family reminds me of one of those perfect New England holiday cards... *sigh* Now I'm ready for thanksgiving... 80)

Sad? Us? No. We celebrate miracles... especially when they happen to such deserving people like you and your husband... I mean, I still celebrate miracles when they happen to stupid people, too... but more because they're just children and perfect little miracles anyways... anyways, I digress... haha!

So, all my levels are back to normal (yay!)... AF is coming up the stairs... just waiting for her to start knockin...

Shelly thats great news about your levels. Will you be starting into IVF right away or are you taking a wee break? Its exciting either way that all is getting back to normal for us girls...its been a rough couple of months really so I enjoy getting good news for a change. Also, did anyone else see that Jenedens is pregnant (naturally) again after her miscarriage? That really cheered me up also.

Heidi - I love the pictures of DD too! She is absolutely adorable! Especially now that my thoughts of frilly dresses and ballet slippers will have to wait, keep posting away. We'll all live vicariously. I hope your procedure is ok tomorrow. I had the same thing to check my uterus for scarring from the endo before IVF. I had maybe 10 seconds of pain and that was only due to a weird curve in my cervix and trying to feed the catheter.

JenCat - So now that we're all confused (even us brunettes) are you a Jen?

Alana - Thanks for the belly compliments. I sat out at the pool on saturday in a maternity tankini and there was one of those gorgeous pregnant women a few chairs over just strolling around in her bikini tummy and all. Some people are just naturally gifted when it comes to cellulite! Maybe baby Aiden will inherit DH's great metabolism! I can't wait to see your belly pics very soon.

Shawna - You look beautiful on your wedding day. Those are always great memories to look back on during these hard times. My DH started tearing up at the wedding we were at this weekend when the Rabbi reminded everyone of the hard times you'll go through in marriage.

Shellyhume - Thanks for explaining those acronyms. I feel old now - I was clueless too! I just saw your post... great news on your levels!!

There's been lots of success with the FETs lately on the boards. Do you girls remember Lorenali/Alicia from our April group? She had a successful FET and has twins now. Lots of good vibes for all of you with the snowbabies!
