Kelly - I know this must be a hard week. It's very emotional when you approach a big marker like your due date. Big hug from all of us. Will your RE be able to give you an info on your next cycle tomorrow? You are getting your body healthy right now and then everything will fall into place!

Jen - Hmmm. I didn't hear about UGA getting #1. I did hear that UF made it pretty high on the party list! Halloween here we come! I have friends taking their 1 yr. old to the game this year. Crazy fans!

Susan - I say "all set" lots. If it's the same as membrane stripping, my mom had that done with the third child. She still doesn't understand why the OB did it b/c she had 4 weeks till her due date but she went into labor that night and delivered the next day. Fingers crossed! I would say just make a deal with dh. Maybe you can do dinner together tomorrow night as bonding? And just be sure he knows he needs to be around for the time off with the baby. I vote for Phoebe Grace.

Hi April! Hi Tia! Hi Shelly!

I slept in a little this morning and dh took Aiden duty. He had him all "off" by the time I got up but that seems to be the norm with the two of them. I took Aiden to gymboree this afternoon. He was very busy trying to crawl and touch all the other kiddies. He was the only boy today so lots of girls to flirt with!

Thanks for all of the advice girls. I guess he can't do early tee time b/c the guys are working and he is the only one off all day. He does need to cut the grass b/c he has not cut it in three weeks and I know it will not get done if not tomorrow. There are so many things that he has to do around here that he just neglects. When he has time off he stares blankly into the computer or TV or newspaper. I know he needs to decompress, I can't even imagine what he has going on in his brain all day what with trying to keep track of patients and whatever else he has to worry about.

Rach- I hope that stripping the membraine works. She did say putting her fingers in and then trying to make a bigger hole so imagine that's what she means. I can't wait any longer!! I just want to see her and be bale to reach my feet again.
My feet are so swollen- Riley just walked over to me and spent the last 20 minutes gently licking both of my feet. Weird. It's like she knows how sore they are.

My deck is nice and cozy now. I am comfy on my new wicker loveseat propped up with pillows and it's about 78 degrees out.

Tia- Where is that belly shot???

Susan - take a photo of your comfy place outside for me! i want to see

I am going to read outside!! I am reading ths book called Beautiful Boy. Its a follow up to the Nic Sheff book called Tweak. Beautiful Boy is written by the father and talks about his son's drug dependency. Totally crazy.

i also just bought Tori Spelling's new book. Ha!

Kelly you should return Story Telling I already bought it. I can send it to you. Actually I have bought it twice. I bought on amazon as my trashy beach read for our trip but it didn't come in time so on our way to Michigan I bought it at target, read it, and then returned it on the way back. I know I am kinda like a thief. Well anyway I have an untouched copy laying around in my living room. Well minus a missing dust jacket. If I would have known.

Marissa- My DH does the same thing and I always hide when we are in the bookstore and he is returning it! I just don't think I could return a book- or else I would buy them and return them all of the time when I was finished!!!

uh, I didn't know Tori Spelling could read, let alone write, an entire book!

Kelly-we all know how you feel so take all the time you need for yourself.

Susan-I so hope you don't have to go through anything painful on Wed. I hope Phoebe makes her appearance on her own.
As for your Dh golfing, if he stayed home with you, would you guys do something together? Or just be in the same house? Could he go golfing, then come home to some quality time, maybe just veg out in front of a movie or something?

Bad Marissa! I couldn't do it. I'm a wimp.

I have a bad headache. I had a long day at work.

Susan, maybe Phoebe wants to be born on 8-8-08.

Kelly, I’m sorry you are feeling down today. It's totally understandable.

Hope Alana is okay. Maybe she's just enjoying having her DH back.

Is there such a thing as the bcp munchies? I’m fully of icecream and seriously need something savory now.

Jen- The more I think about it the more I can't beleive how inconsiderate he is being. I eould love to actually have him ask me to do something with him, I know our options are limited right now with me being so huge and swollen but he can't sit still for two minutes, ever.
he could offer to make dinner and pick up a movie, but instead he is golfing one hour away and 18 holes mind you with tee time not until 2pm. That would put him bak here, drunk no less, at about 9 pm.
I am "all set" as we Rhode Islanders say...

I am sorry you have a headache. I think what Jen (Edens) said was good, this is the last time it's ever going to be just the two of us. We have not taken a vacation in a long time and he has been to Vegas and Arizona to golf already during this pregnancy.
He was supposed to be home at 5:30 tonight, he is still not here and it's 9:13. Being married to a neurosurgeon is ver unpredicitable, why not just take the time together that we know we have for sure?

He was supposed to go pick up the furniture that I bought, he promised he would swing my and pick me up at 6pm and then we would go. Well, as you can see I am used to this so I asked someone else to get it for me earlier. They were only going to hold it until tonight.
I am sorry if I am venting. I am also super nervous about Wed and the impending arrival of my baby. I am begning to question whether are not I have it in me to be a mom. Maybe I will be too tired and depressed. I am worried about doing it alone.
ughhh... Sorry for the downer.

Susan- You are going to be afantastic mommy. You know why?! Because you fought to get here and you fought to get Phoebe. You went through infertility, I imagine did IUIs, numerous IVF cycles with miscarriages through out but never once did you stop, never once did you give up...and I think it's because deep down in your beautiful heart you know you are going to be a great mommy! There are few people who would fight as hard to have a child if they were not going to be a good parent! And Honey, I know this is not you! You have done everything to incubate little Phoebe, you've chosen a beautiful name for her and you only want the best for her!!! You are going to be a great mommy!!!! I know it's only par for the course to feel anxious and nervous about your mommy skills, but we all know, you're going to do a great job!!!
