Jen - Absolutely I'll count you in too... you can be a modern day Mrs. Wizard's World! Did you ever watch that show? I loved it! I would do a c-section over again in a minute. I never worried about Aiden being stressed. I only wish we could have picked a day b/c I sure would have picked a different b-day for him! I can't believe you find out the gender next week. Yay!!
Josee - Hi there. Aiden's favorite worker Chelsea hasn't left quite yet but he will not be happy. When I dropped him off on Wed., she had her hands full so I had to give him to someone else and he started tearing up. He was fine later. His girlfriend at Gymboree wasn't there this week so he had to flirt with Mollie instead. Not as cute but really nice mom. I've been thinking of you all the time. How is the house hunts? Kelly - I'm a bad influence so I say to just keep testing every day now. Alana - Glad you got your tickets rebooked! Heidi - I'm keeping fingers crossed for your day 5 transfer and a free day tomorrow! Tia - How is your vacay?? Shawna - Wow. You got everything all scheduled. Very exciting stuff!! Susan - I didn't mean to scare you today but the sooner you get the reflux under control the happier Phoebe and you will be. I know someone that refused to give up the bf'ing even after her child was still having reflux issues and now 8 months later it has become a major issue. Formula may not have solved the problem but now they just don't know and her son will only eat 1-2 ounces at a time as an 8 month old. He still doesn't sleep through the night, etc. So, trust your instincts on this one and just don't stop till you have a happy baby again. The Ped. told me "don't worry you will know when we have the meds right" and boy was she right! We also used this at the beginning to give Aiden a bit of an incline when he slept and it helped too. Especially for Baby Ultimate Sleep Positioner - Babies 'R' Us - Babies "R" Us My stuffiness is back tonight so I'm going to go steam in the shower and see if I can breathe again. |

I probably shouldn't have googled the risks to doing a 5 day transfer, i.e., none of them would make it.

Heidi- It's like Susan said to me, and i took it to heart because I know she is right. The best place for those embabies was inside of me. In the end though, it's your decision and if you clinic thinks it's somethign that will work, then go for it...that is, if you're up to it!

Well, it's my 3rd fresh cycle, so we're going for something that will lessen the chance of a non-viable embryo going in. It's a gamble, but I think it'll be okay.

Shawna-sorry, but lots of twin moms give birth naturally. But lots more do have c-sections because there just isn't always room for both of them to turn properly!
Rach-don't you remember we found out Walnifer's sex already?

Jen - I such a dumb as* some days lately! Urgh. My brain has become mush controlled by aliens
Yes, Yes... I remember. Walnifer is a boy and I am still super excited for ya'll. I guess when you said gender scan it threw me off. Sorry...Anyone doing anything exciting for the holiday weekend? Dh is working Saturday so we're trying to decide if we should go up to the farm for Sun/Mon or just stay home and chill. I am so tired lately that I may just decide to be lazy. I really want to see the ocean again this summer but the closest one is 5 hrs away ![]() |

Morning gals,
Just got the call and the transfer will be Sunday. Part of me wanted it to be today, but anything that's different from the previous cycles is a good thing I think. Poop, now I should go in to work.

We made it through the night with no issues. Phoebe slept although she woke to feed for short periods every two hours. No throwing up. I propped her up with a wedge and she looked so comfortable.
As far as changing your diet to help with baby's reflux. From a medical standpoint, it is physiologically impossible for the mother's food to affect her breast-milk. Food is not absorbed in the mother's blood stream, but in her stomach. Breast-milk is made from what passes through the mother's blood, not the stomach contents. occasionally, certain foods containing certain enzymes may change the taste of the milk, and tastes will stay in the milk for up to 8 hours but nothing can add gas to the breast-milk (think about it, gas entering the bloodstream??, not possible), and baby won't be getting your dairy products through breast milk!. If your baby is lactose intolerant it has nothing to do with you eating dairy, it's the sugars in mom's milk that the baby can't break down. I just wanted to clarify! Rach- you did not scare me at all! Thank you for the support yesterday! I have had reflux my whole life and it is not because of diet, it is b/c of a weak esophageal sphincter issue due to my lupus. I knew Phoebe would have it as well. My doctor also told me to raise my bed to help with it at night. So anyway, I will not give up breast feeding and I will try to avoid medication at all costs unless she is in pain and nothing else works! She seems to be doing well now. Got a text from Devan- she can't wait to go home where it will be easier to take care of Mya there. She will have help at home. Mya is gorgeous. WE LOVE YOU! heidi- Everything is going to great!!! Jen- take it from me- you do not want a c section. I went through contractions and pushed and then had a c section, so I got to experience both and let me tell you, vaginal with an epidural is the way to go. you can't feel anything. or you could be like me and feel your entire operation...
