Martie...that sounds soooo cute! I love animals but becuase of hubby's allergies we can't have any. I have a pomerian that lives with my brother and SIL but I have visitation rights.

Mamasoon...the thread is under the parenting section. Just some stuff that hurt my feelings is all.

Liza...You're welcome. I love looking up baby stuff (hopefully we will have another one so my research won't go down the drain) but this time around I have learned to get more multi use items more than just the cute little stuff.

Let's see, trying to remember everything with my brain today and no food in my tum tum yet. So here goes:

Kelly- I had a chat with God last night about your beta. I asked him to give you a doubler (well the more then doubler now) and to give you a miracle. I am keeping you close to my heart and in my prayers Sweetie!

Heidi- It is probably your ovary protesting after ER. I mean let's think about it, they poked around in there with a big azz needle right? They got a lot of eggies...it's bound to hurt isn't it? If it were ectopic, I will tell you, you will probably not feel that until around at least 5/6 weeks. So keep the faith, it's just your ovaries recouping hun! By the way, DD is so darn cute!!!! I love it!

Alana- WOW!! The time is almost here!! It's so amazing! I cannot wait to meet the handsome little man and newest family member!

Amy- As for C's smoking. I take both sides of the arguement...As I was an ex smoker, it is really easy to back slide. I quit for a full year and then back slid right into it. I hid it from everyone and infact when I met DH told him I was a non smoker, meanwhile I would smoke when I was talking to him on the phone. It was a terrible thing to do, I know this, but smokers (and drinkers) can think of only one thing...their next fix. Talking to him is the best thing you can do, ignoring it, he may find that maybe he is thinking that you are okay with it. Good luck to you both but I am sure it was just a slip up and he feels extrememly bad about it.

Hi to everyone else!

I originally thought I wanted a moses basket in the masterbedroom when the baby was first born. Then we quickly learned it was twins and the idea of buying two cribs was brought up. Only thing is, one is being set up in the master bedroom and the other in the nursery. The babies will sleep in our bedroom for the first six months. Better on babies and better on mom/dad. Less distance to go to soothe crying baby. They will share the same crib for the first six months anyways because that is what they recommend for twins.

We went to the drive in last night. Saw "The Dark Knight". Pretty dissapointed in the movie but I pigged out on the food! lol. Deep fried mushrooms with ranch..mmmmmm! French fries with lots of ketchup....mmmmm! And POPCORN.....mmm popcorn! Looks like I just gained enough weight for my first and second trimester!! LOL

Ouch...my feet are killing me!! DH and I went to do some last minute shopping that was only supposed to take a couple of hours and ended up taking all day! Hey, they do say you are supposed to walk to help move baby along and thats just what I did. Now that it doesn't matter if my cervix is weak I'm walking as much as I can but its difficult with a watermelon strapped to your front and thighs the size of tree trunks, lol. But I'm hoping it helped as Reed is sitting so low he feels like he might actually fall out. Don't I wish!

Anyway, I phoned the charge nurse this morning and yes, we are still scheduled for tomorrow evening but theres also a chance they won't bring us in if lots of women in labour arrive all at once. Considering this baby was concieved around the new year when many other babies likely were too theres a good chance we'll get bumped and won't be going in until Monday or Tuesday. But we should know early tomorrow so I'll make sure to post and let you all know whats happening. Either way...its almost here!

So I'm a tired nervous wreck over here as I just don't trust doctors anymore and really hope they know what they're doing with this induction. I guess we'll wait and see. I know all the prayers you girls send out will help Reed get here safe and sound...just as they are going to get Kelly her tripling beta number. With you girls for support I know we can all get through this okay.

Still no heat and still sick...meaning still extremely grumpy here! Anyways, I'm feeling worn down today after a day in the city. Weird how it goes. Last suppositories tonight! Woo hoo!!!

April and Liza- I could go for some more of that fried food...care to join me?! Hee hee. My OB is going to hate me, I can bet I'm going to end up with GD. I mean I already PCOS (strike one) and I am pregnant with twins. (Strike two) and for the final strike, I like crap foods right now! lol.

Alana- Dh and I were trying to figure if March woudl be a busy baby month, but it doesn't really seem it is. During the summer people don't really bump uglies it seems! lol. Jk. I hope they get you in tomorrow! And little Reed is here before we know it!

Marissa- I was wondering about that movie! lol. We don't cuddle! ha ha. I recline my chair, put my feet up on the dash....besides there's a console in the center of both our vehicles. Bet we'd cuddle if we had our old truck with the bench seat though! lol.

Oh you just can't stop my cats. If they decide that the furniture is theirs, it is theirs...

So we went into an Amish store (beautiful wood stuff) and they didn't have floor samples, but a book of beautiful furniture. It is all made in Ohio. it is very expensive, but looks fantastically crafted and they all have conversions to day beds then full size beds. I am not sure how to find out about safety issues. Should I go with a known baby furniture maker, or one of these dudes that has a shop in the USA? Dh and I really want to get stuff made in N. America (in the Baby Bargains Book that Susan sent me the best ratings came from Canadian companies). I guess solid built is solid built.

BTW, what distance are the slats in the crib supposed to be?

Oh, and for names, apparently Zachary was our place holder name until we found something better (as DH informed me). He really likes Isaac and Nicholas. I 86'ed Nicholas and brought in Wyatt. So he likes both Isaac and Wyatt. All my others he shot down. I can't believe my kid almost has a name!

I ate some dippin' dots today and they were extremely cold and I burnt my tongue

Shawna...you have such a variety at your drive in movie theatres for food. fried shrooms..YUM! Thank you for chatting with God for me.

Jen...i really like both those names. I think Wyatt is very different. Issac has that "religious" feeling. Both names are very strong.

Alana...i am going to be thinking of you tomorrow all day. thank you again for sending me good thoughts (ALL OF YOU). i just so happy for you! any last minute BUMP pics??!! i feel like i haven't seen one in forever.

Marissa...glad you had a nice night!!

Amy..hope you are feeling better. can we see your maternity pics soon??

Heidi ..thinking good thoughts for you sweets!

Josee..hope you are having a good weekend. i am sorry you are still feeling sluggish and tired. I am sending you a big hug!

April..i hope you dont have to go anywhere. the east coast is a mess right now!!!

I know there is soo much more to say!! i am sorry i have not been more personal with each of you. i ended up doing ALOT of cleaning after we got home from errands and visiting with a friend of mine who just had her baby boy (Carson) 10 days ago. It was nice to hold him in my arms. He just slept and was at such peace. Which gave me a little peace. I just have to survive the next 36 hours....

I think I mentioned that my FIRST RESPONSE PG test registered a second line this morning...pretty faint but it is there.

PS....Who is from Jersey? I am from Long Island and my brother lives in New Brunswick and is a teacher at the high school.

kelly, that is fantastic news! if your test registered positive, then your beta MUST have increased! if your levels went down, evened out or just went up a tiny bit...it wouldn't have registered a 2nd line. that is so great hun.

to answer your ?...i am still waiting for my materinty pics. she said it would take about a week, and tomorrow makes a week. i am so anxious to see them! i think she will end up sending me a link w/ a password so as soon as i get it i will share the password w/ you girls. just a warning, she took HUNDREDS!

jen, i got it off of thelandofnod.com i got the jenny lind collection in antique white (crib, nightstand, dresser and bookcase) it is very simple and feminine. love it. they do have other collections as well and they have great reviews. i am impressed w/ the quality of the furniture...better in person than it looks online.
